Alraeus blinked, surprised, before he cocked his head in a confused manner. "You're...giving in?" he questioned warily, reaching down to cautiously take the werewolf girl by her wrist, semi-dark eyes focused on her in case she decided to try anything. "Is this a trick?" he asked, eyes narrowing slightly.

Just take me. I don't care where you take me. I'm proving that werewolves aren't selfish." Meili's cold grey eyes looked down at her wrist in Alraeus's hand.

Alraeus paused a moment before he nodded slowly and turned away from the forest, looking cold and uncaring until his dog, Grace, padded up and nudged her head against his hand. His features softened as he used his free hand to pet the dog, whose ice blue eyes looked faithfully back up at him, making his smile. "Good girl, Grace," he almost cooed, tilting his head slightly.

Meili turned around to face the forest and let out one last howl to let her pack know. They weren't necessarily her pack, but they flocked to her. Soon, a whole chorus was howling back to her, some sad, others strong and steady. She turned back to Alraeus. "So, where are you going to take me, Rae?"

"Until a room of your own can be arranged, you will stay with me in my chambers," Akraeus answered, looking over at the girl and moving his hand from her wrist to grasp the girl's hand within his own. A sudden awkward feeling fell over him, making him turn away from the other and instead look forward.

"Might as well go inside, then," Meili said, twirling a lock of hair around her index finger. She already felt strange with his hand on hers, but she didn't let it show. She looked completely out of place in her shredded clothes next to Alraeus, whose clothes didn't have a single rip. She didn't look anything like a princess now.
