James listening quietly, he sounded so sad; even his laugh sounded sad. He stopped leaning on Evan long enough for him to take his can away and bring another one. But when he sat back down James decided not to lean on him again.

He opened his beer as quietly as he could while listening to the rest of what Evan had to say. He didn't know about having his sister reject him like that. He didn't even have to tell his sister, she knew immediately and she had accepted that about him. 

He nodded to Evan, he did understand that not everyone accepted you when you're different. "I'm sorry." he told the other. He was there for Evan too, he'd be there if Evan needed him. He moved his hair out of his face again and over onto the shoulder that was farthest away from Evan.

James guessed what Evan was doing and leaned forward so that he didn't have to come so far and kissed him back. And however short if was, Evan dazzled him easily it seemed, just by touching him, so the kiss gave him a dazed feeling. Maybe a little light headed.

He didn't want to talk about anything that brought sad memories either, so a subject change was good. But he'd never... wished on a rock before. A star, sure, maybe a few times at 11:11 but never a rock. He took his and thought for a few seconds before he made his wish, whispered it like Evan had done and threw it at the remaining can.

The sound of the rock making contact with the can surprised him a little, he hadn't expected to hit it at all. He usually had horrible aim. A smile appeared on his face automatically as he looked into the darkness to see that the silhouette of the can was gone. Excitement flared in his eyes for a moment and then it slowly faded. 

He looked back to Evan, a warm smile on his face. "Thank you." He told him quietly, this wasn't much or fancy. But it was definitely one night that he would remember for years and years to come. He had never felt so happy with anyone else before, he was grateful to say the very least. 

((should they like fall asleep and wake up w/out the bus or cellphones?))

Evan smiled a small happy smile before resting his head on James's shoulder once more. "God, today was just the longest day wasn't it?" laughing, he pullled James back so they were lying together in the gr*censored*. "They stars never change though. Sometimes, just knowing there's at least one thing out there that wont change on you..." He trailed off, watching his the stars twinkle in the darkness.

James smiled, "It feels like it's been going on forever." He agreed, letting the other pull him down to lay beside him. He snuggled closer to Evan, making body heat between them as he listened to what he had to say before speaking himself. "Before I had a sister," He joked lightly, "I used to try and count the stars." James told the other laying beside him.

He trailed off to, it was dark and quiet and he was still tired from not getting enough sleep. Evan and his random sleeping patterns and distracting him with dazzling kisses. he yawn a little, nothing big and focus on the stars completely, letting him mind wonder.

James smiled, wrapping his arms around his significant other and holding him cloth to help and keep the warmth between them. It was kind of cold but not too bad as James listened to Evan's breathing slowly change from that of a person that was awake to one that was sleeping. He resting his chin on Evan's head and closed his eyes, letting sleep finally take him where ever it would.

James woke up slowly the next morning, the sun streaming brightly into his eyes and making it hard to get any more sleep. He looked down at Evan, whom he was still holding, smiled, and kissed the other's forehead gently. He tightened his hold on him slightly, it was obviously slack from sleep, and sighed quietly. Content. 

Then something hit him, they'd stayed out all night! His eyes widened and he frowned, worried about the bus instantly. "Evan." He said, reaching up to move some of his hair out of his face. "Evan, wake up. We stayed out all night." He said.
