Poppy bristled at the worker's discussion. She set down her plate, striding over to Ash and Hunter indignantly. She pushed off Angel's question. "What is your problem?!" She snarled at Hunter. "You think you're better than everyone else here! You're not! You're just some mentally retarded idiot who thinks that people your own age should be slaves. ARE YOU STUPID?!" Her eyes flashed angrily, and she temporarily forgot how much trouble she could get in for speaking to a guard like this. Her temper was sky-high. She didn't even look at Ash.

Angel chuckled, then suddenly, her whole mind went blank. A faint picture came up, it was her, and her doing her old job. Angel snapped out of it, then tears ran down her eyes.

Poppy exploded. She wasn't one to push around. "YOU listen! Hurt me all you want, you heartless, bastard, poor excuse for a human. I will find you if you lay one hand on me, and I will kill you. That's a promise." Her eyes were blazing with cold fury by now, and the entire cafeteria had turned silent to watch. Jace whispered in Aurora's ear, "Five bucks on the little girl."

Poppy wrenched her arm away from Angel. "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" she screamed, preparing to punch him. "You act like you've never felt love. You know what?" she said in a quite, icy whisper, "I think you're scared." She spun around, sitting back down with a furious hiss. She shoved her food of the table with a smash, and flopped her head onto the table in her arms, and started to cry silently. She was dead now. _____ Jace smiled. "Who said I had money?"

Hunter let the girl go. He turned to Poppy,"Fine. When I was five my father would do horrible things to the family. He would cut and torture us...Finally my mother ran away. The only one who really cared. She didn't even say good bye. My father turned insane. The torture only got worse until he killed most of my family. I was the last one left...I ran away knowing that I would die soon. He followed me killing all my firends. I finally didn't even bother having friend and I turned into this." Hunter spat. He turned around and stomped out of the cafeteria.
