Charlotte shuddered, banging on the rock. "But that's the thing," she breathed. "I can bring myself to leave all these people here. There are kids as young as TWELVE here." She closed here eyes. "This is abuse..." _____ Jace's eyes followed Aurora's. He glared at Ash, still working on the rock wall. "What an as$..." he mumbled under his breath. _____ Josh's eyes flashed, focusing on Charlotte. He could see her chains were undone.

((Snow Snow ruins it all.)) Snow noticed a girl`s chains seemed very loose. She took off in flight and circled the girl. Flying just out of reach of rocks, if any of the kids thought of throwing one at her. She began to screach loudly. Larania looked up and saw Snow circling, "One of the other gaurds will take care of it." She said before looking back down at May and smiling. |

"But if you have a chance to help them and prevent kids even younger from being taken!" He fell silent as the owl started screeching. "I hate that owl." He hissed and glanced back, sure that guards would appear soon. "I think your chains have been noticed."

Ash looked at the bird. He turned towards the girl it was circling and walked towards her. He lifted up on of the chains seeing that it had been broekn,"Well, what do we have here?" He asked curious. He looked down at the girl and smiled grabbing the chains and pulling on her arms. He bent down to her ears,"What were you thinking? You can get hurt around here." He said so that the bird couldn't hear him.

Snow felt likwe something weird was going on. She flew off towards Josh. She Landed on his shoulder and nipped at his ear, then started trying to lead him to Charlotte.

Charlotte's heart skipped a beat. Her head was spinning and she felt ready to collapse. "I was thinking about the children," she breathed, unable to meet either of the men's eyes. Instead, she stared at her feet, which were bleeding. ____ Poppy doubled over, hands going for her chains. Tears streamed down her face as fresh blood welled up on her ankles. _____ Josh watched Ash and Charlotte with interest. Eyes narrowed, Matt payed close attention to Ash and Charlotte. He couldn't tell what Ash intended to do to her nor did he have any idea what he himself would do is she needed help.

Ash bent down. He sighed looking over at the twelve year old,"Think about yourself. The only thing you will be getting you or anyone else into is trouble." He said looking at Josh. He waved trying to show him he had everything under control. "Me too. I can't beleive that bird. It is almost like even it hates us...Of course we do throw rocks at it." She said thoughtfully. |

Josh swatted the bird off his shoulder. "Shoo," he snapped. He really hated birds. He turned his attention to Poppy again. ____ "Why aren't you whipping me right now?" Charlotte asked, shaking. "I broke the rules. I'm sup post to be punished." ____ Jace smirked. "I have an excellent throwing arm." ____ Poppy's eyes watered. She actually cried a lot, for a fourteen-year-old.

Aurora laughed,"I wish I did...Of course then it would probably have me as its target then." She said. "Because I don't want to. I don't like the way they are punishing you all but you have to keep your excapes more...Secretive aroudn that bird." Ask said. he looked odwn at the chains and called hunter over,"We need some knew ones or else it will be easier for her to escape again. He said handing Hunter the chains. Hunter nodded and walk over to get some new ones. Ash looked down at her ankles,"God, I hate blood." He hissed feeling like he was about to be sick. |

Jace snorted. "Just wait for that bird to fly over here." ____ Charlotte shivered again; her skin prickled where Ash touched her. "Why are you helping me?" she mumbled, feeling tears spring to her eyes. ____ Poppy sniffled, and then continued to pound on the wall with her rock. Her heart felt like stone; she missed her brother more than ever. ____ Josh stared at Poppy. He mumbled out loud, "I wonder..." She looked so much like his sister, who'd disappeared a couple years ago. He wondered if it really was her.

A loud crack echoed through the "cave". Snow screached and flew towards the sound. Larania and Isamu both flinched at the noise. Larania set May dowand got up, then the two ran towards the noise. Shun reared and whinnied triumphantly. He had kicked the pole so many times, it finally snapped, now the only problem was the ropes holding his hooves together. There was no way he could run with them on. |

"Because...Oh no time to explain." Ash hissed as Hunter came bach. He put the new chains on Charlotte making them looser then her old ones so they didn't hurt as much. He looked up as he heard a loud cracking noise,"What was that?" He asked watching as a horse tried to break free.

Charlotte met Ash's eyes for a moment. "Thank you," she whispered. Her eyes shimmered with gratitude before she turned away from him, and started to work again. ____ Josh narrowed his eyes, head whipping to face the horse. He scowled; "Damn animals," he mumbled. ____ Poppy ignored the horse, looking around. This was a perfect distraction. ____ Jace picked up a rock, whipping it at the owl. It hit it on the back of the head with a thump.
