Ebony sighed and bowed her head. "Dear me. I know I'm not a godlike figure in the slightest, even if my occasional narcissistic tendencies make me think I am sometimes. I shouldn't be something that anything ever prays to either, even if I'm seen as a malevolent being, but then there was that weird group in Galafax.... They're stupid. They should stop being stupid and get a proper religion. One with an omnipotent being or something. I'm supposed to be praying for my soul though, and you were the first thing that sprang to mind that I know anything about. This is stupid and I don't want to mock anyone's faith. Suddenly, whatever gyro-lock or similar devise that was keeping them locked in one place broke, and they felt the full effect of the ship tumbling and spinning downwards at enormous speeds. The unmistakable sounds of claws on steel came from outside. "That's not good!" Tul yelled. "Of course it's not, something's trying to get in!" Lieutenant Harrenly screamed. "I already knew that, that's why we're spinnin'! I just mean that armour platin' is metres thick, we shouldn't even be able to 'ear that!"
