NO LONGER ACCEPTING
So I haven't done a group RP in a while, mostly because I dislike these forums. I do 1x1s with the people I enjoy RPing with, seeing as most group RPs either die or get too complicated for my tastes.

Back to business.
Humans have been crossing into Eterna for centuries. Once they're gone from the world they call Earth, that part of their lives is over. It's a way of being reborn, by coming into this new world. Here Light and Darkness are blatantly clear, no lies or trickery (or so they say) spun behind masks. One side of Eterna is forever shadowed in darkness, the other bathed in light.
But humans rarely last long in Eterna. Why? Their earthly bodies start to fade away, the magick of the very world tearing at their souls. It's a peaceful way to die really, but when it's teenagers walking into this new world, they have a whole life ahead of them. It didn't take long for the first humans to find the eggs. These eggs, holding within them creatures nurtured and borne from the very dirt beneath their feet, are their connection and tether to Eterna.
An egg is chosen and a bond is made and thus the humans won't fade away
That is as the saying goes, of course.
The eggs aren't chosen at random or by look. It's a feeling, a tugging, a pulling, to whichever partner is most compatible with your soul.
Be careful though; even if Eterna's world is one of clarity between light and dark, humans have always been creatures known of deceit.

His skin tone is Caucasian, although tan, and he has stunning green eyes. Hair Color | Almost, but not quite black. More of a very dark brown, chestnut highlights more visible when in direct sunlight. Eye Color | Bright, haunting green with grayish-yellow accents. Personality | Hawk (we'll call him this instead of Aiden, yes?) is a...complicated person. He could be considered antisocial and on the more quiet side, due to his lack of engaging in much conversation or many activities. Many people as.sume that is because he is uppity or too self absorbed to bother with others. Really, the only time he speaks up is when someone greatly offends him. The result of such offenses are oftentimes explosive, potentially even violent. These outbursts are strange in nature, though. They are usually unpredictable, and the strangest things set him off (that is, other than someone coming up to him and shoving him or something to that extent). Hawk is not a stranger to fighting (as will be explained later) or getting into trouble with others, especially male adolescences. When he doesn't explode, if upset, he will usually just get up and leave the situation in a storm. In such cases, he may not be seen for anywhere from two hours to three days. His troubled, quiet nature could be due to the fact he had no feminine influence in his life to teach him how to convey or deal with emotions and the concepts of softness and affection. Really, he is just a troubled teen who doesn't know what he's feeling (especially in terms of his sexuality) or how to deal with it. He is very smart, though, and has an incredibly creative mind that comes alive when he is alone. Negative Traits | His overall personality, hah. He's not the most friendly, and puts up emotional walls around himself. Slow to trust and quick to dislike. Physically speaking, he has a very noticeable limp from the odd contortion of his leg, which makes it hard for him to last long distances on foot. Egg # | Light Egg Three Other | Came to Eterna very recently, searching for...something. He isn't even certain, but knew what he needed wasn't where he lived. He has a deep hatred of wolves, as a wolf was the creature who crippled him so badly. He does find solace in other animals, though. He also has a very long and dramatic past that is probably too much to really go over, so in short: He was born into a very violent people, his mother died. In his "Right of Passage" ceremony, he was thrown into the woods to survive and make his way back to camp. While in the woods, he was attacked by a pack of wolves. As one was about to kill him, SOMETHING swooped down and fended off the wolves so he could get away. He did not know what it was, as it was very dark and he dropped his torch. He lived with his people, becoming an amazing warrior, until a rival group came and destroyed his village wholly. He lost everyone he loved, and fought as hard as he could, but it wasn't enough to keep them safe. He was captured as a prisoner of war, and mocked as he sobbed for the lives of his people. In binds, he was forced to walk with the murderers to return to their home. But a fight broke out among the guards one night, after having a bit too much to drink, and Hawk was able to escape. He ran for days. Adrenaline kept him going, but the endless effort caused his crippled leg to only get worse. The experience traumatized him, pushing him away from others and making him an outcast.

Name | Oliver 'Olly' Macknid Age | Sixteen Gender | Male Era | 2012 General Appearance | tle="" target="">Croppedphotoplz; Olly isn't what you would call specifically handsome, but he likes the way he looks. He is tall and slim, though not particularly muscular. His hair falls naturally to the left of his forehead, and is shorter at the sides, almost shaved. His teeth are slightly crooked and his lips thin. His skin is pale despite the amount of time he spends outside, dotted with a few pale freckles. He usually wears beige chinos, a dark blue hoodie and blue Toms shoes, or something very similar. His attire is very clearly modern.Body Type | As stated before, tall and slim but not very muscular. He is not built for combat. Hair Color | Dark grey-brown with dark blonde 'stripes' at either side of his forehead. Eye Color | A clear light blue, almost green that show reflections very well Personality | When you first meet him, Olly is a very quiet person. He'll be the most polite lad you could ever meet; always remembering his pleases and thank yous, holding open doors, everything. He tends to stay pretty quiet, as well. He's fairly smart, but always kept himself to himself in lessons. He always kept himself to himself in every aspect of his life, really. He nearly always has his ear phones in, playing music no matter the situation. It calms him, makes him feel better. For although he comes off as shy and silent, his emotions boil up inside him. He has been teased for being so slim or quiet, and went through a period of being very angry. Sometimes that anger flares back up inside his heart, but the music calms him down. However, if you are lucky enough to spend enough time with Olly, and you DO get on his good side, all is revealed. He loves to laugh, and has been playing guitar for the past four year, though barely anyone knows that. He also likes to draw, and never goes anywhere without his sketch pad and guitar. Positive Traits | Olly knows how to stay calm on the outside, no matter what he feels inside. He is good in bad situations, keeping his thoughts straight. He is also very gentle, and would never hurt a fly. Negative Traits | Although his calm mind and polite attitude comes in handy, keeping quiet isn't always the answer when someone gets very angry with them. It tends to aggravate them even more, often ending in him being hurt somehow. And like I said, his body isn't built for combat. Heehee Gender | Female General Appearance | Aylinn has dark brown hair with golden blonde highlights that is naturally straight with bangs that slice down diagonally to her left, almost covering her left eye. She usually flips it out of the way when it begins to interfere with her vision. Her eyes are a stormy gray and her skin is lightly tanned. Her lips are not thin yet not full, so they are a sort of 'medium' size but are leaning on the thin side. They are a medium-pink color as well. Her nose is small yet pointy and her lashes are naturally long enough to not need mascara. Aylinn often puts on a smoky eye as makeup and nothing more, really, unless some embarrassing pimple needs concealing. She is thin and has an hourglass figure, though she is always concerned about her weight, which has never strayed too far from the right mark. Body Type | An hourglass figure. Hair Color | Dark brown with a few golden blonde highlights. Eye Color | Stormy gray, like storm clouds. Personality | Aylinn knows how to throw some nasty comments as she tends to have a bit of a short temper. Some days it's extended or it's extended for certain people, such as little children, though. She also is a bit of a tomboy and is not afraid to get rough with people. She does, however, still have a girly side that shows through a lot, but Aylinn really is pretty much down-to-earth. His almost-curly black locks, small upturned nose, and gently rounded cheek bones, Syrus has the look of an innocent artist. A smattering of freckles touches his lightly tanned cheeks and intense indigo eyes rest under high-arching brows. Born in London in 1832, Syrus grew up in the Victorian era. Casual peru (it's a color) trousers and a white shirt with braces were common for the men to wear when they were out. Syrus himself lived on the streets with only a white shirt, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and a dark navy vest. Around his neck he wears a thin silver chain that was his brother's. He wears tle="" target="_blank">strapped boots that he "reluctantly" stole from the nearby cobbler. As stated before, Syrus hadn't had a very happy life. His parents were part of an illicit dealership and Syrus was often carted around to their business affairs. Once his parents were caught and thrown into jail, Syrus was put in the care of his aunt. Said aunt despised the entire side of Syrus's family and what they did to the family name, so she beat him often and blamed him for her misfortunes. After another hard week of his aunt's rage, Syrus finally worked up the courage, at twelve, to take off into the unforgiving streets of the London ghetto. He didn't have many friends and he wasn't too keen on joining the nearby gangs; they sometimes caused even more trouble than his aunt. So he was basically alone in the world. At eighteen years old, Syrus tripped on a sidewalk and should have been hit by a trolley on the road. It was mere inches from his face when he squeezed his eyes shut and expected impact. None came however and when he went to open his eyes, before him not lay the gritty streets of London but a clearing of grass. At first this change scared him but after a while, he told himself he preferred this strange unexplored world to the ghetto. Unexplored it was, so he put it upon himself to make his own adventure. That was where he stumbled upon another human being, one that wore strange vibrant colors for clothes and had all sorts of new technology he'd never seen before. She explained that she came from the twenty-first century, which seemed worlds away from him, and she showed him around Eterna. During that year, he found Toxin's egg, on the dark side of Eterna, and learned about the new world he inhabited. After a while, the two friends parted ways and he never saw her again.

Ooc; Annnndddd we have a surplus of guys. LOL Never thought I'd see that happen. xD Feel free to make a female character somebody, even if you have one already. I'd rather not recruit someone else. If no one wants to have two, I'll make the girl.
And update guys, Nymph and I decided on the sb that since Eterna is another dimension, people from all times/era on Earth can stumble into the world. That's why Nymph's character is from some tribal time and mine's from the Victorian. xD So just keep that in mind. :3 21st century charras are still okay. LOL

She enjoys listening to loud music and speaking her mind, but she's not one to run her mouth. Anything that she thinks will benefit her or make her happy will definitely get done, sometimes if the cost means other people get hurt, but that's usually not the case. She's into parties and can get a bit carried away with herself sometimes. The rest will be role-played out. Positive Traits | Letta is extremely optimistic and her personality is infectious. If she wants to get a party started, it usually happens. This being said, she's an extremely influential person, whether she knows it or not. He has pale skin that says he hasn't been outside much, and he's rather short for his age, standing at only about 5'3". His pale green eyes always have a happy look to them, though, and he's almost constantly smiling. His pale, pale blond hair curls in around his jaw and he usually has a smile on his face. He has a cute, innocent and childish look to him, but he feels like he's most likely going to be alone since he's as frail as he is. Body Type | Lean and almost frail. Personality | Henry is a sweet, innocent guy who was sheltered his entire life because he's so easily injured.
