Skye watched as she left and stared at her room. Laying own on her bed, she decided to watch her egg a little longer. It was that dull brown, the white flecks seemed to glow and the brown was oddly giving off a more earthly glow than when it was in the hatchery. She walked over, picking the egg up off the incubator. She sat down on the bed, cradling the egg. It was fairly large, but it was warm. SHe made sure to keep her hoodie wrapped around it, but gently moved her finger down across the egg, feeling the texture of it. It shifted an inch and in her mind, she could tell the time for it to hatch was near. She smiled, trying to imagine what the creature would look like. 

((Ugh, sorry I was away a while. Renovating the house. :P)) 

Jess stepped a few steps away from the pair. They seemed to have the same bad temper and didn't seem to like each other that much. That could be a problem. Although he had to admit that Maks bond was pretty cool. It looked a bit like Shadow, but at the same time, completely different. The slash marks especially made it look different. 

He realized he was staring at the wolf and tore his gaze away from it to look back up at Maks. "Umm... Cain wanted us all to meet back in the lobby. I don't really know the time, but I think it's soon." he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. He sure was on edge around Maks. Maybe the guy just had a lot on his mind. Jess had been in Otherworld for a month so he was somewhat used to it... but maybe Maks wasn't. Maybe he was just nervous like him? Jess shook his head, realizing he was spacing out.

Taylor patted Shadow on the neck and he spread his feathery wings again. "Hold on," Taylor warned before Shadow had leapt up into the air and flapped his wings. At first, they seemed to fall back to the earth, but his strength pushed them through the air and once he was at a high enough altitude, he leveled out. "So, what's your name?" Taylor asked the girl, knowing the wind would carry her question back.

Maks watched as Jess stared at his bond. He looked down, too and Rune glared back at him. Maks fought the urge to childishly stick his tongue out at him and returned his gaze Jess. "Thanks for the message. Should I come now?" Maks asked with a hint of sadness. He was tired of being here and wanted to take Taylor and just go back home.

Jess blinked when he noticed Maks' sudden change in mood. Jess felt himself slowly relaxing. "Unless you have something else you need to do, I don't see any point in accidentally showing up late," he said in a friendly manner. "I have to go back to my room and pick up my egg, but your welcome to follow me." He clasped his hands behind his back and began walking down the hall, back to his own room. After a few steps, he stopped and looked back over his shoulder at Maks. "Although, if you want to be alone, I completely understand." He gave him a small smile. Maybe all Maks needed was a friend. Or he could be getting it all wrong and only making Maks madder. He shrugged away the second thought.

Corrine glanced around the room, trying to find Aleigha's bed frantically, her search drawing to a blank. It was then she realized that her Bond would best prefer to sleep on her bed with her, and smiled, scratching Aly's neck lovingly. Her thoughts wandered to the other two, and Maks' Bond hatching, wondering if Jess's had yet. Cori scooped up Aly, the puppy light in her arms. "I'm as.suming you'll get bigger, Aly, correct?" She posed, looking down at the little winged dog. The bluish Bond nodded, feeling a little taciturn at the moment, and tucked her wings in when her human Bond picked her up. Cori opened the door, hoping to find Jess still out there so she didn't have to remember his room number to show him Aly. Since he had been talking with Maks, she guessed he would be with Jess.

Opening her door in a wide sweep, she looked down the hall to her right, seeing no one and frowning a bit, then peeking behind her door to her left. This made her smile return, seeing the two boys returning to Jess's room, Maks looking slightly uncomfortable. Maybe something was wrong with his Bond, the white stripey wolf. She shrugged, closing the door and setting Aly down, the pup growing rapidly. "Jess, Maks, I'd like you to meet Aly, my bond." The wolf-like animal wagged her tail barely in greeting, looking from Jess to Maks.

"Pleasure to meet you two." Aleigha said politely, glancing behind them to Rune, who gave the Bond chills, and not in a good way. There was something unspeakably evil about that Bond, even for a Dark.

Jess turned around when Corrine said his name. He paused, smiling when he saw Aleigha. "Aww, she's adorable," Jess said smiling. He lifted his hand up in front of his face to hide his amused ex
pression. The puppy really was cute. It was hard to imagine the Bond was a Dark. He realized he was now the only one without a hatched bond and frowned. What if his egg didn't even hatch that day? He'd feel rather stupid being the only one without a hatched bond. He shook those thoughts aside. His egg would hatch. It just needed a bit more time.

"Well, I've still gotta go get my egg so...yeah," he mumbled. He turned around and began walking back to his room. He pushed his way past the door, leaving it open. Unlike Maks, he didn't care who saw his room. He strode over to his egg, checking for cracks before huffing slightly and picking it up. Suddenly, a crack appeared on it and he stares at it as it begins to shudder. As the shuddering gets worse, he places it back on the chair and stares at it, eager for his bond to come out. 

There was a flash of black light and Jess barely had time to throw up his arms in front of his face to protect himself before the shell burst open. One shell piece nicked his cheek, drawing blood, and when he dropped his arms, he was staring into crimson eyes. He jerked back, yelping in surprise. Sitting in his chair was a small black dragon. It crouched on all fours and its wings stretched out behind it as it stretched. It was a scrawny dragon, thin frame, triangular head, and a long neck and tail. Its chest was a darker shade then the rest of it's body and its neck and underbelly looked like light grey armor. 

"Hi there," it said, mischievously. "I'm you're bond. Do you have a name for me?" It continued to stare at him.

Jess thought for a moment. "Ryuzak?" he said hesitantly, taking the first name from off the top of his head.

Ryuzak cocked its head to the side, smirking at him. "Perfect." it seemed to purr, crawling down from the chair and into Jess' lap. It looked up at him expectantly.  

Maksis watched as Ryuzak exploded from its egg. He watched as the black light seemed to fly away from the egg as it hatched.  That had not been the case with Rune. The darkness seemed to be pulled into him and Maksis looked down at the small wolf warily. Rune looked up at him and a feral smiled curled on his jaws. Maksis looked away quickly and tried not to stare enviously at the dragon. Instead, he dropped his gaze and without meeting the dragon's eyes said. "It's good to meat you, Ryuzak." He murmered. He expected Rune to say something, but the bond did not. No manners either. Maksis thought to himself. Rune looked up at him sharply. Why show respect when others do not deserve it. Only those who are powerful deserve respect. Cain and Xier have that respect now, but not for long. He thought to Maks.

Taylor grinned. "Nice to meet you, Lumasi." Taylor and Shadow said together and they laughed. She gripped her legs tighter around Shadow's torso and held her arms out, releasing his neck. She peered over the edge of his side and looked down to see a girl in front of the mansion. Shadow landed with the sweep of his wings and Taylor jumped off, leaving Lumasi, and approaching the new girl. "Hello. It seems you have found your way to the Mansion of Light." She said and stuck out her hand. "I'm Taylor. I guess you could say Shadow and I are the welcome party." She motioned toward Shadow who dipped his head.

Ryuzak nodded Maks, glad to see someone else had a bit of manners. His gaze flicked down to Rune and he snapped his jaw shut, causing a loud clicking noise as his teeth hit one another. He had an immediate dislike of the white wolf. Ryuzak didn't care that he hadn't been greeted by him, but there was just something evil about him. He stretched his tiny wings out a little, as if to try to shield Jess from Rune's sight. He snapped a warning bite close to Aleigha's face, although when he looked at her, his eyes didn't show distaste, only a bit of over-protectiveness. He didn't want any of them getting near his bond until he knew if they had pure intentions. 

Jess stared down at his bond curiously. Although the egg had seemed evil enough, his bond already seemed to be trying to protect him. He couldn't help but laugh a little at this. Ryuzak was barely bigger than a house-cat. He experimentally stroked at the dragon's head, laughing again as his bond seemed to purr and push up against his hand. Very cat-like. 

Rune snorted when Ryuzak showed protectiveness toward Jess. He knew that in order for Maksis to learn how to protect himself, he had to do it himself. He could not have anything or anyone there to protect him. That's how he would learn. He just hoped Maksis could live up to his expectations. He had some work to do with blotting out that excess Light in Maksis's soul.

       "Hello my name is Aria,nice to meet you." Aria was very tired and weary. "I hope I am not bothering anyone. Thank you for letting me in I've been waiting a while, But it is ok." Aria smiled. "I heard this was the place to come once I got here but I couldnt find it. I was hoping someone might find me. Anyway I heard something about eggs and I came to investigate." Aria said and then her stomach growled." Could I come in I am very hungry all I've eaten for days is apples? Those aren't very filling." Aria was laughing now.
