Cak turned around quickly to the girl behind him. Wat she said made a little sense to him. "And how to we know if we are light or dark?" He truly didnt know what he was, for the fact that he wanted nature, he felt that he should be light, but his mind started to whirl with all the stuff that had been said.

Taylor shook her head sadly and refused to look at Maks. Her Maks. No. She wouldn't look at him. She knew his features had changed and that he had chosen to be a Dark. She did not want Cain to use him against her. She wanted to protect him in the only way she could. She kept the pain clear from her eyes and looked at the girl with a wry smile. "There is no way out. You were destined to come to this world. Otherworld. You cannot enter this hatchery if you are a true Dark. You must go to their hatchery with Cain." She said. "Now you have to choose. Your choice will affect you for the rest of your life, seeing as you will not be able to ever leave and return to your normal life on earth." She said, getting straight to the point. -- Maks glared up at Taylor. He hated this witch who had dissappeared from his life and left him with a gaping hole. Now, that hole was ragged and torn. Nothing could ever stitch it back up. The darkness just filled it and made the pain more bearable. He pushed through the others and stood by Cain, giving him a short nod as he took his side. ((D:< Chase!!! You put WAT. It is What. Not wat!!!! I think imma have to kick you out for that one. You know I hate it when people do that! It's chat speak DX))

Jess' head shot up when he thought he heard voices. Was it possible for other people to be here? He didn't know. He changed his pace to a run, feeling like the voices would leave if he waited too long to find them. His foot, however, got caught in a root and fell forward. He landed on his stomach, catching himself with his elbows and winching at the pain it caused. He sighed. Maybe he should just lay there like that and wait to die. Although dieing in such a stupid place was pathetic so he slowly pushed himself to his knees, then his feet. He wandered over slowly to a tree and slumped down against it. He'd lost track of where the voices came from and would have to wait to see if they started up again.

Cak's mind raced, what to choose. Without noticing, he stumbled foward and stood beside Taylor and fot the first time noticed the wolf. A huge black wolf with deep blue swirls on it. The swirls seemed to make Cal beleive he knew that his choice was the one for him.

[[hmph. Shadow's markings are supposed to look like ancient runes. Not swirls.]] Shadow twitched his ears and Taylor looked up. She squinted her eyes and they changed color to match Shadow's icy blue. Her vision grew clearer and she could see farther. A boy stood, slumped against a tree. Shadow's large ears had heard the noise had had made when he tripped. Taylor nodded to him and he took off in a flurry of black feathers and stroked toward the boy. Taylor nodded to Cak when she joined next to him and then focused her attention on the rest of the group. "Choose now." She said. -- Shadow approached the boy warily. He figured that this was another newcomer and that he probably hadn't seen a wolf with wings before. Or strange blue markings for that matter. "Do not be startled. I mean you no harm. I am Shadow, bond to Taylor. Please come with me." He said and folded his wings neatly against his back. They seemed to dissappear into his thick, black fur. He padded forward without waiting to see if the boy would follow.

Cain smiled as a boy who had been glaring with much hate in his eyes at Taylor the entire time stood up and walked over by him. Smiling, he clapped the boy on the back, happy that at least one of the newcomers would make the right decision. "Good choice. What's your name, kid?" He asked, not wanting to call the bot "kid" for the rest of his life. Long ago, Cain had accepted that living in the Darklands was how he'd live forever, and now another had made the same choice. Finally, someone who hadn't been allured to Taylor's over-romantisizing of the Lightlands. ((Oh gosh, I spelled that so wrong. >.>)) Cori's thoughts raced, angrily too, she stood slowly, tripping a bit on a rock, and placed her hand on her head. The rest of my life... here? A few tears came to her eyes. She'd never see her mother again. Never her father, her brother, her pregnant sister and the little baby Daniel. Never James. The girl, Taylor as it seemed, was too... sweet. Stickly. It left a bad taste with Corrine, and the green-eyed girl walked over by the other boy and Cain. "Corrine..." She mumbled in greeting. "Call me Cori, nice to meet you." She glanced back at Xire, the dragon staring directly at her with the fiery eyes, ones that welcomed her.

Jess stared at the wolf with weird markings and wings. Great. He was hallucinating. Well, that explained the rest of this place. He sighed and stood up. Sitting around waiting to die seemed a lot more boring than going along with a hallucination so he figured he might as well make his last few days interesting. Tired and feeling run down, he followed the wolf on shaky legs. However much he tried to look strong, he knew he just looked small and weak, so he kept his head down, following the wolf's tail, which was the only thing in his sight.

Skye glanced up as she said those words. Grr, she felt so invisible. She began to walk to the group of gathering "darks" but stopped and slowly turned. She'd lived a life of darkness for a long time and found it to be somewhat pleasant. Still, maybe she needed a life of good, or at least try it for once. She sighed, wondering if she'd regret all of this later as she turned and waited by the "lights". Skye sighed and hung her head, letting her hair fall over her eyes. She would so totally regret this.

(( Ruf listen. You have to start small. When someone says 'literate' it means they want experienced RPers. It's nothing against you being a good or bad writer. Hell, I sucked two years ago. It's about practice. Start small, then work you're way up. There'll always be good RP's but I don't think you're at the right level for this particular one. ))
