"... Yes," Shay said softly.  "But I don't like thinking about that."  She turned around and took her sword out of its brown, leathery scabbard.  Running her hand gently across the silver-and-blue blade, the girl couldn't help but think that she was being childish.
Then again, she was only thirteen.  It was simply her nature to feel this way.
"I think we should get going now.
Where to, Morgan?"

Alesa only smiled.  Josh was quite amusing.  "Alright, this way to the city," she said, pointing.  "We'd better get a move on before-"
Too late.  Zombie rabbit horde attack.
Think twice about this before thinking of rabbits as cute, furry, innocent wittle bunnies.  At this point in time, all they want is to kill you.  Taking out her nunchucks and dagger, Alesa would take down these guys for a bit, but things like this usually went awry.
Fight for a while,
then flee.
Works pretty well.. for the most part.

Alesa hit a few zombie-rabbits with her nunchucks and struck a few with the dagger.  More kept coming in.  "Alright, now, we run," she said and did just so.  She didn't know about Josh and Cody, but Alesa wanted to keep her life.  Not that she couldn't fight, but, a good fighter always knows when to flee, too.

Shay sighed and walked towards the airport.  "Tell me about yourself," she said as she stuck her sword back in its place.

Shay nodded in understanding.  "My parents got infected.  So I ran off with the sword we had and have made a living in the airport ever since..." she said.

Alesa ran and halted abruptly.  The zombified rabbits had retreated by now, since their prey had escaped.  "You guys.  Look over there," she said, pointing to two alive humans.  One of them turned around as soon as she said it.

Shay nearly jumped.  "OH MY GOD, MORGAN!  THERE ARE PEOPLE!" she screamed.

"What?" Morgan turned around quickly, in case Morgan had mistaken some zombies for actual people. But she was right- there was a girl and a couple of guys. She smiled, and turned back to Shay. "Let's go over there!" She said, overly excited. She ran toward them, and simply hoped she didn't seem like a zombie.

Cody smiled, and looked over at Josh, who simply watched as one of the people came running toward them.

Shay ran to one of the people and hugged them, which was Cody.  "Oh my God, I found people." she breathed.

Alesa was a bit taken aback by the people.  "Hi there," she said with a small smile.  "I just found these two, and I guess you guys just found us."  She relaxed when it was two girls and one of them was very young.  As the young one hugged Cody, Alesa couldn't help but let out a small giggle.  "How cute!" she said a bit quietly, so as not to 'disturb the moment'.

Josh turned to Alesa, a bit shocked. She didn't really seem like the type of person who would ever say anything was cute. No, she seemed more like the type of person who would kill cute things. He smiled, and turned to Morgan. "Hi, I'm Josh." She told him her name was Morgan.

"Hi!" Shay said more enthusiastically.  "I'm Shay, and this is Morgan," she announced to everyone.  Next she hugged Josh.  Hugging!! SQUEE~!
She was just... so happy that there were other people.

Alesa cocked her head at Josh's reaction to seemingly nothing, then watched as the girl was hugging... everybody.  Dang, am I next?  She wasn't really the type to... I don't know... Hug.  But I guess it'd be welcomed..?

Josh hugged the girl, and looked over to Alesa, in total confusion. He hadn't ever met someone who met people, then automatically was like 'Oh my gosh! I need to hug these strangers!~' So this was sort of odd. He let go of the girl.

(Shay is causing your charries to make me lol real hard.  xDDD )

Shay then hugged Alesa.  "What's your name?" she asked her.
Alesa hugged the girl back a bit awkwardly...  "I'm Alesa.  You can call me Ally if you want."
So I guess my big-girl insinct came out to take care of this girl?  I don't know... Alesa thought, since she had never really felt such an urge to protect someone.  Maybe since she was younger her heart wanted to take care of her.
Shay smiled.  "Ok," she said.  "Who are your friends?"  The girl let go of her hug.
"Josh is the bigger one and Cody's the smaller one," Alesa explained.

Josh turned to Cody. "Um, what the heck are you trying to do?"

(HUGE LOLS. xDDD )

Alesa smiled and added, "Cody, by 'short', I meant you're just smaller than Josh.  You're fine."  She tried to reassure him and then set her sights elsewhere.  "Alright, everyone - we've gotta move out.  Where to?  Anyone have ideas... again?"

"I don't think there really is anywhere safe," Shay said, acting more normally.  "I mean, just throwing out ideas here, but maybe we could go to the airport?  I thought that I saw a plane going out a few days ago... and the airport was locked.  I'm not sure if Europe and Asia are infliltrated with the disease yet.  If anybody knows how to fly a plane, we could go check."  She sighed.  "It's a huge long-shot... sorry."

Shay had locked the doors once more and retrieved her laptop, hidden behind a large plant.  "Here!  I found this.  It's sort of junky but it might be useful for something."  She handed the laptop to Cody, then turned to Alesa.  "Want me to show you guys the terminals?"

"That'd be great," Alesa answered.  "Is there any that are already connected to airplanes?"

Shay nodded.  "All of them.  'Cept a few.  But the airplanes themselves are locked.  I tried to find the master keys, but when the person of this place who had those became zombified, he must still have them.  Though, I'm not sure."  Shay started leading them towards the terminals.  "Anyone have a preference of terminal?"
