Kiri's eyes flashed open. She shifted back to human form and walked quickly to the master. "Yes, ringmaster." It wasn't a question. It was the taking of an order. Kiri was bubbling inside, but she tried to contain herself. She was so ready to go, and DO something. Her eyes looked up to the ringmaster, without faltering. Dont kill me? Kiri thought. Her cheekbone twitched in amusement.

Kiri's eyes flashed in alarm for just a second. I... I'm a performer, not a killer... Her heart sank into a murky lake of despair. She tried to remain smiling lightly. Kiri wasn't sure what to say, so she stayed silent and tried to nod.

Kiri was stiff, and her first few steps were shuddering. I've done this before. I can do it. I think. Kiri wondered who it was, not sure whether or not to stay silent. Her mouth opened slightly before she knew what to say, and it snapped back. Who is it? Maybe this is a mistake. Maybe I shouldn't even go. But I'm curious... Who? Why? Absently she thought, Curiosity killed the cat.

I wanted to entertain... Its what I do... Kiri waited for the promised explanation. She thought that they should stop talking, unless they wanted to be whipped. Or worse. Kiri promised herself she wouldn't kill unless with purpose. This better have purpose. She followed the master, a bit unnerved at her manner.

Kiri glanced to the switch being made. I wanna switch with him. I wanna jump, and spin, and run, and perform. I don't wanna kill. Why can't he kill? I'm not a killer. I'm just a carnivore. "C-...Can we switch?" the question was inaudible. It was under her breath, not even understandable to the human ear. Maybe to a cat. Or a lion. ((Hint hint.)) But maybe he's not a killer either...
