Almon stepped from the shadows of the room, emotionless blue eyes glowing as he emerged a heavily scarred black lion, a big slash on his right eye to bhow why he usually kept it hidden. The scars across his body ranged from burns to gashes, as well as a couple stabs and one bullet, that one located on his rear right flank.
He sat down, a silent, dark, eerie presence in the entire circus. But he could be useful for lion tricks, so he was kept on.

James lifted his head, a black figure catching his attention. Its just Almon... he thought. He yawned, revealing his long canines. He laid his head back down and tried to concentrate on going to sleep. Jesse sighed in his sleep, he had no trouble sleeping now that he had successfully kept James up.
