Kyin laughed. "look what I did?! Look what I DID?!" He laughed again and bent over from his laughter. "Look what you did!! Had you not said that I can kill you.. That you were ready to face death himself and accept this.. My brother would not have jumped in front of you.. This is all your fault.. There was no reason for you to say that you wanted me to kill you.." his eyes lit up with anger and hatred for Dakota. HIs tail swished around and then the end lit up with fire. He smiled and growled slightly. His voice was darker than before and he was smiling demonically. "You two are so... cute.. but i don't want to let you win so easily human.." Riku growled and he looked at Kyin. His tail's end lighting up with black ice. He growled and stood up, wiping the blood off his face. he looke dat Dakota. "Don't.. It won't really heal that way.." He gently kissed DAkota's lips and smiled. "It feels so right when your with me.. I really love you Dakota.. I won't let anybody harm you.." he smiled and held Dakota's hand tightly. His eyes and form went back to human. Hois tail disappeared as well as anything else making him a demon.

Dakota paused,looking at Kyin,his eyes calm and stable. "there was a reason to kill,my friend because up until just a couple minutes i didnt think i had anything to live for.I thought i had no one,falling alone down a cliff into downward spiral with no branches to hold onto and stop my fall.But i do now,and your right it is my fault.I hurt Riku and its hard to take blame on yourself for something so hard to accept but i do,and i will,it kills me but i will" Turning to Riku he forgot Kyin was there looking into his crimson eyes,wrapping his arms around Riku holding his close. "i didnt think i would ever live again since my family died but now with you i know ill be okay,i dont think ive ever been so happy,thank you,Riku,thank you...for changing my life and its okay you can stay in your demon form,i dont care what you look like as long as were together"Dakota gave a sincere smile.Meaning filled his life again and he never wanted to let Riku go.The matter was,how to get out of this prison |

Kyin chuckled. "ahh. humans.. what an interesting species in this universe.. others are pretty weird as well.." he climbed thorugh the hole and placed the makrshift poster back itno place. He laid on teh bed adn rested up. Riku smiled slightly although his black blood ran even more when he did so. "well.. at least I helped you out some way." He gentl kissed Dakota's cheek and sat up. "Be careful.. My blood is somewhat poisonous when it's exposed to the cold... and concrete doens't help.." he placed his hand over his would and covered his hand with black ice. His face going numb and he then lit it with fire. It wasn't too hot, but it burned. He then placed black ice again and it began to grow back to normal skin. "Well.. that's guna sting for aw hile adn i'll get a scar latter too.." He hugged dakota. "thanks Dakota." |

Dakota sat down on Riku's bed sitting criss cross on the middle of the mattress,his eyes drated to the hole in the wall then back to Riku.Lowering his voice his face unsure,Playing with a loose string on the end of his pants he sighed "i dont want to be out of line,i mean he is your brother but...im some what afraid of him"Dakota's face turned to the cracks in the wall,as the sun was setting closing this day of too many events to an end,this struck a thought into Dakota's minde the made his heart jump "and just as the sun is setting...i know this sounds pathetic but im somewhat afraid to sleep now...what if he kills me or worse when im at my weakest moment,i just dont know if i can live like this,constantly in fear"Looking down to the floor his voice became higher and more spirited "and another qeustion,we need to leave this place,this prision,i know the world out there is sometimes worse than in here. Sobriety is a virtue from being brain dead and a killing machine,but what if we run to the mountains...i know a place."

Riku shook his head. "No... Never.. You will not be killed by my older brother.. I have a way of keeping him away from you.. I am really going to kill him if he even hurts you." He looked at Dakota and smiled slightly. "well. You can always just sleep in my arms. I'm a demon. .I can alway sjust block us and the bed.. And your right. gettign our of here is also one thing we should do.." he sighed adn looked at Dakota. "You sleepy?" (sorry.. short.. i'm sleepy. night. :3) |

Dakota closed his eyes for a second before slowly opening them,his eyes looking at the fading light through the cracks of the wall,like the only ray of false hope that filled him with fading happiness.The only indication of the world still in exsitance.Before quickly turning away to face Riku.His body ached with exhaustion.Feeling beaten and worn all the way up his spine and his eyes burned,ready to be closed. "yea,very,and if you dont mind me sleeping with you...but were will Kyin sleep" pausing the thought filled his head then he pushed it away,tired of feeling fear he always felt,the food he lived on didnt taste just right anymore.It became old and felt unjustified,less vibrant as it had before,Dakota was tired of being afraid and depressed.At this age he was supposed to be in his prime right?Remebering when his grandmother told him of the times before the 'emotion adjustment medication' was given.When teenagers were supposed to have fun and no cares,wishing for a simplier time like that.No matter how outrageous it sounded.They always said Grandmother wasnt right in the head but somehow her story seemed to be told so true,there was no way they were made up in a senial mind. "by the way i have a plan how to get out of here...will talk in the morning?"

Riku smiled. "He'll sleep in your room or in his bed. Whichever he wants. I could care less because my barriers are stronger than his demonic powers are. So we should be fine no matter where he sleeps or how hard he tries to break into the sheild." He laid down adn pulled Dakota down with him. He pulled teh rouch blanket over them and whispered some words in a different language, which was basically a spell language in his tongue. A black sphere formed around them then extended out to cover the bed all the way up to the cieling. THe blackness of the spphere was soon fading to a clear bubble. "Well, we should we fall asleep already?" Riku's demon tail swishing around in pleasure. He was happy to just have Dakota in his arms.

Dakota slowly cloesed his eyes,warm from being so close to Riku. "yes lets sleep but before we do,i just want to say thank you about today"turning to face Riku,his eyes tracing the wounds on his face in the moonlit night, he lighlty kissed him before turning back around wanting to be close in his arms. "just wondering...um is it like hard to stay in human form all the time..do you have to work at it? just wondering you dont have to anwer if you do not want too"he breathed letting out a deep sigh,happiness filled him.letting all his muscles relax,lifting up his arm looking at the long greusome gash,he could still feel the dull pain and pulse in it.

Riku held Dakota tighter when he was kissed. He let out a sigh and looked at Dakota's hand. He reached up and placed his hand next to Dakota's. His fingernails grew to about a good inch and a few strange markings slithered around his wrist and down to his shoulder. "Dakota... Your gash... Don't think much about it... Compared to my demonic arm, your gash is just a scratch." He gently placed his hand over dakota's and it reverted back to human. He entwined his fingers with Dakota's. "Your hand will heal anyways.. My ice and fire will heal it in no times.. then your flesh can grow back just as you humans can.." he smiled and gently kissed Dakota. "And no... I've been in human form for so long.. It's like a second thing to me.. I can stay in it for a while but it is tiresome so I sleep in my true demon form... My wings usually provide me with heat.."

Dakota looked at Riku's arm,tightening his hands around his.Giving a genuine smile in the darkness. "you dont have to stay in your human form you know,it doesnt matter.You look amazing no matter what.and its whats on the inside that counts you know" Flicking the hair out of his eyes,his deep navy blue eyes staring in Riku's. " i cant help but think how to excape from here...im tired of being in this prison...but the outside world could be so much worse"

Riku smiled and let his demon form take control. His whole body was covered with strange markings and his nails grew agian to about half an inch. he wrapped his arms around Daktoa, still holding his hand. Black angel wings flopped out and over Dakota, providing warmth for the both of them. He smiled and kissed Dakota's head. "Hey.. Your never going to know until your acutally out there." His ruby eyes staring back into Dakotas. With every word, his canines would be exposed, almost an inch long. "Don't worry.. Out there.. Even if im in my demon form.. the LINE users will just think they are hallicinating.. so i could always protect you.. then again.. I can protect you in my human form too."

Dakota eyes traced over Riku's body looking at the transformation that took place.But somehow it didnt bother him one bit.This was who Riku was and he loved Riku didnt he?His eyes meeting back to Riku's then,Putting his face on Rikus chest,wrapping his arms around Riku's waist holding him closer,he sighed with bliss.Closing his eyes "you dont always have to protect me" he gave a quick laugh smiling. "ive never actually met anyone who was on LINE i dont now much about it really...i know that sounds strange but my family was in hiding,we lived in the mountains...i still wondering if my house is still there" he stopped his voice feeling sadness crawl up in the back of his throut.Trying to close his eyes tighter trying to hold the tears back.

Riku's feathers ruffled and he knew something was wrong with Dakota. He rwapped his feathers around Dakota and himself so theyr were completely touching. Riku could feel Dakota's warmth but his heart was beating as though it was sad. He looked T dakota and placed his hand on Dakota's head. His nails gently rubbing Dakota's scalp when he ran his hand through his hair. "dakota... Just.. why dont... I'm not very good at this.. But why don't you just cry.. I mean.. I know your not happy.. and You don't want to know about LINE it's a really bad drug... But I mean.. Your home... You know.. Cry if you must. I'm guna be here to wipe your tears." (so corny!!! XD) |

((haha its cool)) Dakota gulped,still trying to hold back tears "its okay...ill be okay" he gained his composure back,just happy to be with Riku. "i shouldnt be so senstive about these things...but if my home is still there...we can run away to there....i dont know where we are here...they drugged me on the way to this place...but if i could get a high enough view i can trace the ridge on the mountains and find it...we could live in peace"he paused "that sounds so wierd to say now...peace...i havent heard it in so long"Looking up he met Rikus eyes "no one has ever really been there for me,thank you Riku,you dont know how much it means" |

Riku chuckled with Dakota's words. "Peace has never exsisted Dakota.. Sorry to say.. But this world has always been at war and nobody ever sleeps.. There isn't much here now.. But.. This is just one more battle to chalk up for Earth.." He sighed. "listen to me being so negative... But there is a pause in war.. A time of tranquility.. or even a place of silence.. And if your home is still there.. Then we could have that pause in chaos and that small place of tranquility within this world." he smiled and his human form took over. All that was left was his black feathered wings. "Well.. Don't worry.. now that you know my secret.. Getting out of here can be easily done.. And as well.. I was drugged adn tied up while I was being brought here." he licked Dakota's cheek gently. "sorry.. for a demon.. that's the highest sign of love and affection."

Dakota looked up at him "no...there is peace,there world is too large for everyone to experience it at one time.The say everyone dies every second..but we dont expeirence death as a familiarity every second. Peace is when nothing else matter but how great that one moment is,it may be for only a moment...but i promise it still exists" He shifted lightly so he could be face to face with Riku.flinching in suprise when Riku licked him but laughed and smiled "its okay,haha...whats it like to be a demon? i mean ive heard the word before but its never really came up in my life,to mention i geuss i dont really know much about anything eh?" smiling.

Riku looked at Dakota and his eyes widened slightly. "Mmh.. very knowledgable words Dakota.. I never expected someone to tell me that the peace i never believed in actually exsisted.." he smiled and held Dakota tightly. "Being a demon isn't all it's cracked up to be.. People think we are blood thirsty killers when demons are all around them.. People think we are ugly grotesque creatures with this blood lust that is unquenchable.. However.. if you look at us in our demon form, we are actually some of the best looking people. Unless your me.. but still..and being a demon is actually bad.. I mean.. Your the cause of death in many things.. and your diet is based on your species.. I can't eat much because I'm a blood demon.. I'm supposed to merely survive on blood... Your powers are other worldly and uncontrollable.. If you can't control them, they will rebound and kill you.. And you have to keep a human shape when your in the human world.. It's not much different from teh human world.."

"well your the best looking person ive ever seen so maybe you have some of your facts wrong" Dakota tilited his head slightly "so how are you not starving right now? i couldnt even imagine having powers,always being afraid of being hurt by them..that sounds awful...not even able to trust yourself..." he lightly kissed Riku quickly than pulling away.
