"If you mean a little while longer than if I just killed you now, than yes, you get to live for a while." __ Jace scowled, and turned his attention to Josh and Raventh. His heart fluttered in his chest when he saw Josh, but he controlled it and snuck around to get a better angle of attack. He was going to save the pretty girl.

Josh mused, pressing the dagger into her flesh so only a drop of blood came out. He inhaled deeply. "Mmmmm. A good tasting mundane you are, too." ___ Jace leaped out of the tree he was in and landed on Josh's back, wrenching the silver blade out of his hand and stabbing it through his ribs.

Josh pulled it out and kicked Jace away, standing next to Raventh again. "Just a little mundane boy," he said emotionlessly, "No problem." Jace laid still, the wound in his side where Josh had kicked him bleeding sluggishly.

Luke held his breath. "Yes, techinically," he muttered, searching her for any signs that she had seen his face. She had. DAMNIT. Josh smirked, amused that the girl had followed him so easily. "What's your name?" he asked like he was bored. He was. Jace followed them quietly, one hand holding his injured side.
