Moonpelt raised her head and followed silentpaw. "Are you okay?" She asked quietly, picking out a petite mouse for herself. Eating it in one big gulp, she noticed him looking to Fallen. "He's a warrior. His name is Fallenwind."

Silentpaw picked up a plump squirrel for himself and instantly took a bite, savoring the flavor. "Im fine," He *censored*ured her. "Just a little stiff. But some training to loosen my muscles and i'll be fine." He meowed calmly, half smiling. He scowled at Fallenwind, who was looking at him almost intently.

Silentpaw nodded, feeling a bit guilty. Getting to his paws, he stretched. "Alright, I wont go harsh on him, but the staring is a little disturbing." He grumbled, and followed. Feeling batter about going out of camp, he trotted after her, tail held high.

Moonpelt smiled. "I'm glad your still Confident. I promise You won't have to fish ever again." She meowed, then flicked her tail and turned around. "Haven't you noticed how much he looks like you? And I thought I heard him talknig about you to Falconwing. Maybe he;s your father...."

Silentpaw growled lowly at the very thought. "He's not my father!" He snapped, not aiming his anger at Moonpelt but more at Fallenwind. "Falconwing said my father was a warrior but he died a few moons before I was born. "He grumbled, and started out of camp. He hated the thought of being the son of a rouge. Once he exited the camp he felt better. "No, I want to learn to fish, its a good source of prey and I dont want to be ruled by the water." He meowed confidedently and smiled at her.

Silentpaw twitched his whiskers in slight amusement and padded into the shallow part of the river, slightly shaking as the current washed across his legs. Trying to hold still, he waited for a fish patiently. When a glimmer of silver caught he eyes he tried to remember how Moonpelt got it. Lashing out one paw, he dove for the fish and came up empty pawed. Fur flushing in emarrasment, he waited again. "This is not nearly as easy as it looks." He grumbled.

Silentpaw saw a slight silver flash to his left and dove after it, almost nipping its back fin before the current pulled his legs out from under him. He yelped and came up spluttering. Growling to himself, he tried again, missing once more. After what felt like a eternity, his muscles felt stiff and painful and his muzzle felt like he had run into a tree how many times he had dove. Finally a rather small fish flashed by and he decided to give it one more shot, diving after it with renewed strength. He felt the sharp taste of blood and the slapping of the fish's tail against his face and neck. But pride warmed him as he stepped out, not really caring that the fish was small, hardly a mouthful for a warrior. Panting, he dropped the catch at Moonpelts feet, waiting for her to call him a idiot at how many times it took him to finally catch the pathetic creature.

Moonpelt's eyes lit up. "Good!" She meowed and licked him on the ear. "My first catch took twice as long as you, and the fish wasn't even that big." She chukcled. "Come, We should drop this fish off."

Silentpaw beamed at the praise, then picked up the fish and padded after her. He wanted to ask her how long it took her to catch a fish because it felt like it took him almost half a day to just catch this one. But with his mouth full, he decided not to embarr*censored* himself.

Once they came to camp, Moonpelt put the fish on the fresh-kill pile and walked back to the entrance to see Silentpaw. "Please go talk to Fallenwind." She mewed. "Don't judge a book by it's cover, Silentpaw."

Grumbling, Silentpaw padded up to Fallenwind, and flinched as the larger tom gazed solomley at him. "So you were a rouge?" He asked, unnerved at the other cat watched him closely. "
Why did you want to become part of the clan?" He asked, suddenly thinking of Fallenwind and Falconwing speaking together. Was that the reason? He was friend with her? The tom spoke and Silentpaw jumped. "Because the life of a rouge is not worth it if you do nothing but travel alone. My mate died a few seasons back, and...er.." He stopped and flicked his tail in clear annoyance. "Falconwing is her sister so I decided to join." He finished lamely. "Wait, Falconwing was a rouge?" Silentpaw asked, amber eyes stretching wide. "No, my mate was born a clan-cat and became a rouge." Turning his head, Fallenwind scowled. "Go back to your mentor now and do as your told." Silentpaw flinched again and padded off to fins Moonpelt. "He's a strange cat." The apprentice grumbled.
