Sasha hid under the bed trying to stifle her breath she heard footsteps thundering through the hall the Queen she thought she curled up in a ball making her self as small as possible.
Rose sweapt in beside her queen "the woman you wanted dead is gone, my Lady" she said sheathing her red and gold dagger she did not question the Queens appearance because she know that would be the wrong thing to say she had served the Queen for a while now and knew what the Queen didn't like to hear.

Kate looked up from tending Quint. A woman and her young son was pacing near the fire. rn "Hello, you must be Aria? I'm Kate and this big brute here is Quint," Kate said, smiling at the woman. Quint elbowed her good naturedly and jabbed her with his finger. Leaning back, Kate let the flames warm her cold hands all the while watching a group of men wander around the camp. No doubt they were looking for folk ready to go on the next raid. She let herself relax, leaning lightly against Quint, careful not to touch his injuries. At least she would be able to get some rest before some lunatic asked her to attack the castle. Licking her cracked lips, she turned to Quint. "Hey, I'm gonna go grab some chow, want some?" rn rn Quint only grunted then closed his eyes again. Kate rolled her eyes and stood, stretching her amrs over her head. It felt good to relax. Too good. rn rn ~ rn rn Rosalind peered suspiciously at the Queen's murderer. So she had done it again, taken the life of yet another woman. Adjusting her own mask, Rosalind concentrated on scrubbing the blood stains out of Her Majesty's clothing. The blood was still warm in some places and it made her queasy to think about who the blood belonged to. rn

Rose leaned against the Queens bed cleaning her dagger. She made a habit to try not to get any blood on herself unless it was someone she shared the queens hatred for. "My Lady" she said sweetly, this was an act, but the queen loved it. "The women who you requested deceased, was easy she put up no fight."
Sasha curled tighter into a ball hoping one of the servants wouldn't look under the bed.
Fang, walked over to Kate and Quint, he nodded to them and sat down next to them. Sheathing his sword. He didn't like to be with out it in the fear that Rose would come after him. He loved Sasha not her.

Aria smiled at the woman and then saw she was going to bed. Aria thought she should probably get some rest herself because the raid would start soon, and she wanted to do her best so that she would get picked to help again. She starting walking toward her camp, when she realized she ought to say goodbye to Nolef first. Aria walked swiftly to where she had left him and once inside, kissed his cheek and said, "I'll be back honey, bye bye." She knew he couldn't understand her, but she talked to him anyway. When she reached her campsite, she quickly fell asleep. Soon, she was woken by the sound of people running and shouting. "Must be time to go," she said to herself. She quickly got her sword, dagger, and mask. When people were almost redy to leave, she grabbed some bread and started to eat, she didn't want to be hungry.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because its unfamiliar territory.

Fang ran after Aria " is the raid starting?" he asked catching up to her. "Where is Sasha? she should be here?" he called. sheathing his sword.

Quint gave Fang and Aria a nod before drifting asleep. It felt so good to lie back and relax in the warmth. Though his injuries would probably suspend him from any raids anytime soon, he found himself enjoying the peace and quiet.
"Someday, I'm going to retire and live a peaceful life in the countryside," he murmured to Kate. "I'll live to be a ripe old age and won't have to wear these darn masks." Quint trailed his fingers over his mask, a black one with blue-black raven feathers and gold glitter designs. It fit comfortably on his face, the edges pressing gently on his skin. It was exquisitely made, not like the cheap masks you could buy at the market. No, it was a fine mask.
He turned to Kate who was observing her own mask. Hers was made by a masksmith and had cost a fortune, but she needed a mask like that if she was going to pose as a maid in the castle. Kate's mask was a pretty emerald green with leaf designs hand carved into the surface, vines curling around the eyes and a delicate nose. In fact, it had been molded so that it was almost a second skin.
Just as Quint left the waking world and entered his dream world, a loud shout rang across the clearing and Quint awoke with a start.
"The Queen is having a bal tomorrow! This is our chance! Everyone must be ready to go! Prepare yourselves; gentlemen, find the best clothes you can, ladies, ballgowns! You must all have a pair somewhere! If not, we can go to the marketplace tomorrow, surely there's a shop that sells fine clothes!"
Quint sighed. So much for peace and quiet.

Aria nodded to Fang, "I think so..." she was really nervous. "Have you ever done one of these things before?" She was following the crowd of people who were getting ready to leave. She saw the lady who was taking care of nolef and waved at her. ((Sorry, short.))

Fang nodded a "few times, you?" he asked looking around for Sasha. Stergtening his black mask with crow feathers sweeping off it. "The Queens is having a ball, every one must attend but I'm suspecting its a trap he thought of Rose finding him...
The Queen had left her chambers on what seemed like forever. She slipped out and went to her small room and slipped in to pants with a heavy belt she sheathed het daggers and put spare in her boot along with carrying a vile of poison. Then she slipped out of the castle to help the others with the raid.

Aria shook her head, "I just got here recently, I haven't had a chance to join in yet. As long as I'm helping I'm ok. It probably is a trap... but, we have to try right? " She grabbed her mask and tied it around her neck, so that when she had too, she could just slip it on. "Anyway, is it bad? The raids I mean." She was thinking of Nolef and wondering if she would see him again... one bad hit and she'd be dead.

Quint tossed an arm casually around Kate only to have her push it off.
Kate smirked at Quint and elbowed him. "You'd be the one to talk, with your 'adventures to beyond the beyond and such that you always talk about, eh? Didn't you say just yesterday that you fought off a dragon and strolled through the streets without your mask on?"
