Angel padded alon a river, she looked at her reflection and saw a demon. Why? what did i ever do? she thought. She went to her brother, Narrok. She started fighting with him. Kalia was chewing on a deer she found, somehow.

Narrok growled at Angel. "What do you ever want?" he snarled. It was all part of his big stubbornness. Angel! How could my mother give such a name, to one of the Demon League. It's preposterous! Kilia watched in all her supremity as Narrok and Angel fought. She yawned loudly. These children of hers would give the Demon League some good future, especially Narrok. Angel, she didn't know so much. Rune glanced around, looking for any antelope to hunt down. The gr*censored* bent beneath his paws. Hunger ripped through his mind. His brother was watching silently behind him.

"You!" Narrok spat. He closed his injured right eye, and gave a snarl of rage when claws dug into his tail. The young and arrogant mutated cheetah hissed and swung a claw at Angel's shoulder. His fangs were bared.

Hearing snarling in the distance, Venok decided to see what was happening. Stalking behind a tree, she peered out to see what looked like.. other mutated cheetahs. What is this, they look just like me..? she climbed up the tree, observing the other mutants, eyes wide.

Kilia's eyes turned into deep voids of fire with no ex
pression in them. "You just reminded me of your... your father. He would've of appreciated it. He wanted especially to have a cub named Angel." She involuntarily flinched as she mentioned Trilon. After his death, Kilia had started to regret what had happened, though she barely dared to mention him. She had grown too close to him, and if she had realized that she would've abandoned the Demon League, and find some abandoned normal cubs to use as adopted children. The death would've never happened. Narrok's eyes rolled into the back of his head, as the breath was squished from him. Everything for that moment went black.

Angel backed down " I-i-i-i'm sorry, mother" she said, sounding small. Narrok was bigger than her. She was a part of the DEMON league, and she was ANGEL. It just didn't make sense.

Kilia sighed. "You should know already from what the older cheetahs having been telling you about finding a mate. They are most often a normal cheetah, not like us. Your father had no idea about the Demon League and he thought of me as an angel, but he was wrong, in the end." She scraped her claws over a bone, the only thing Trilon could be remembered by.

Rune gave a growl of frustration when he saw nothing. The brightness was blurring his vision and he didn't want to be stuck out here all day. Then luck struck. Rune saw a small group of antelope grazing. He gave a smile. Perhaps this was a good day after all...

Kilia bent over Narrok her eyes critical. She spat in Narrok's face. Her son stirred, looking slightly confused. "Fool!" she spat. "You're useless. Heir to the throne and you can't even defend yourself!" The leader took a deep breath. "One day you'll hopefully get and mate and you'll be a better leader than me, but this time is not now. You need to learn!"
