Lux looked into her eyes, and nodded. He looked down to her leg and carefully picked up the scalpel and pushed it into her leg, causing a flow of dark red. Biting his lip, Lux carefully cut around the chain, slightly slanting the knife to ensure the chain would come out when he was done. Lux wasn't to found of blood and gore, but he had seen enough of it to not puke on sight. When he was done, the chain was easily removed, and he started to apply bandages. He felt bad that he couldn't numb he leg first, but there wasn't really a choice. He looked back up to Echo as he wrapped her leg. "Are you ok?" Lux asked, making sure he didn't give her to much pain.

Melaria followed Nolan all those 18 blocks. She had no choice but to leave her pets in her box at her "home". "Okay we are here" Nolan said in a faint whisper. "How much did you pay for all this stuff for me?" Mel asks out of plain curiosity. "Well if you want to know, I paid 150$." Nolan huffed. "Whoa!!!!" Mel shouted. "Okay, enough. Now lay down their," *Points finger at a bed.* "Do not worry you will be okay." Nolan says with a smile. Mel carefully obeys. "When will you start?" Mel asked with a uneasy smile. "When you are sleeping of course." Nolan says cheerfully.
Rejoining, I have a lot of TU that I find unused up. Got any good pets? Let me know, I might buy them

The pain was sharp, and since Echo hadn't felt so much pain in a long time she had to try very hard not to scream. Instead she gasped and scrunched her eyes shut in an effort to endure the pain. Still, it was worth it to get this ghastly chain from her leg. When she next opened her eyes, she saw that Lux was wrapping bandages around her leg...and the chain was gone. Echo blinked hard, as if to check whether or not she was dreaming. It was real...the chain really had been removed. Echo looked up at Lux, then nodded slowly. After a few moments, a tiny smile appeared on her lips, and it was clear that although she didn't speak again, it was clear that she was grateful. Echo had decided in that instant...Lux really was someone she could trust, above all others.
((Well, slyfox, Echo might, but she's kinda occupied at the moment...xD))

Lux returned a smile as he finished up bandaging her leg. He rolled up his sleeves to wipe the blood off his hands, revealing his many burns and cuts. He threw the rag he used into the broken and unused sink and rolled his sleeves back down. Then Lux walked up to the hospital bed, next to Echo and turned around. Expecting her to get what he was trying to do. "Here get on my back, you should walk on it until it starts healing." Lux said, not wanting her to get hurt anymore then she needed to.

(I have missed a lot)
Melvyn held his breath as Echo seemed to notice him but quickly went back to his normal breathing pace. The two had moved on, and thankfully left him alone. He rubbed the cut on his eyebrow with the bottom of his shirt. He looked into a nearby puddle and saw that he was bruised around his eye- a black eye, as it is more commonly known. The magpie on his shoulder seemed to take no notice of the bruise. Melvyn stepped out of the alley and onto the main street to see Echo and the other boy walk into the hospital. "what are they doing?" he muttered to himself.

Echo paused as she listened to Lux, then nodded, and gently clambered onto his back. Seeing as she weighed very little, this would be no hardship for him, which put her mind at ease just a little. She still had a very tiny smile on her face, as she had decided that she could feel comfortable and relaxed about him...unlike pretty much everyone else in the world. After all, from horrid past experiences she had come to the conclusion that every stranger she met was a potential dangerous threat.

Lux wasn't surprised that Echo didn't weigh much. He easily walked out of the building, almost forgetting someone was on his back. After walking a few blocks down, Lux looked over his shoulder to Echo. "So, where do you want to go?" He asked, deciding she should pick. He wanted to stay with this girl. For some reason, he felt attached to her, he didn't want to let her go. All Lux wanted to do was protect her.

Melvyn sighed and sat down on the cold concrete pavement. He fiddled boredly with a few small stones, flicking them away every now and then. He looked up, though, when the sound of footsteps was audible to him. He saw the boy with Echo, and she was on his back. Melvyn stared at Echo, as something seemed to be different about her. He couldn't think what. Then, the obvious struck him. The chain was no longer there, but a bloodstained bandage was. He gasped slightly. He must have looked rather rude- staring at the two blinklessly.

Echo held gently onto Lux as he carried her from the hospital and remained silent as he continued up, carrying her a few blocks away. Her pet kitten had been clinging to her shoulder throughout the ordeal. Echo blinked as Lux spoke again, and it took her a moment to formulate a reply. Already, she had spoken far more often than she had in ages.
"I don't mind...somewhere warm, somewhere safe." she delicately said, with a small smile. She looked to the side and saw someone there, staring at them, and instantly she seemed to tense up.
"There's someone there..." Echo whispered, almost pitifully delicately.

Melvyn fell backwards and landed in a sitting position. He winced as he fell. And he had fell because... Echo saw him staring. Other people could be so scary at times! Melvyn reached out behind him to push himself up, but ended up pushing a pile of tin cans over. He cringed at the loud sound. There was no way to get out of this, and he was pretty much trapped. "eheh..." he mumbled, slightly shivering now. Roth the magpie landed on Melvyn's lap after being thrown by his fall and hopped about nervously. He could sense potential predators to him- cats.

amber was staring blank faced lingering behind echo and lux not trying to scare them but more or less find out what was really going on...No she had a bad feeling about this something was wrong something was very wrong..She paused and watched something was going to happen the only question was what?

Lux stoped. He squinted his eyes, trying to see who was there. It wasn't long before he realized it was just another street kid. He sighed in relief. "Its just another street kid. Nothing to worry about." Lux tried to reassure Echo. Then he noticed the boy was staring at them weirdly. "Are you ok?" Lux asked. He couldn't help but ask. He thought for a moment before speaking again. "Were going to the hotel, its not to far if you want to come?" Lux shrugged. He felt bad for not consulting Echo about having this boy tag along. Lux knew she wasn't good with strangers the moment he met her.

Echo was shivering just slightly, not because she was cold or anything like that but because she was a little nervous. She stopped after a moment, though, because she remembered that, unlike before, she had a friend here who could help keep her safe. She didn't speak or anything of the sort, but, keeping her eyes off the stranger just for sake of calming herself a little more, she very gently rested her head on Lux's shoulder. This wasn't just for comfort's sake, but was also a gesture used to reassure Lux that it was ok to invite the stranger along...but the moment anyne did anything to scare her she would make her fear known.

amber tryed to walk up to them no something was wrong about this were they scared of her? mabye.. but this road was dangerous she had seen her father her mother killed after she was abandoned right here it wasn't safe here... she walked up and told them this place isn't safe.... here voice trailed of suddenly her eyes started watering just a bit reminding her of when her family died she deceided she was coming with them no matter what well she didnt really have anything to do (amber is a girl)(she is totally tagging along :) )

Melvyn stood up and tried to swallow his slight fear. He stepped out of the dark alleyway and into the light. "uh... I'm Melvyn, and... This is Roth. And... I guess we could do with a bit of company, if that's alright..." he said to the boy. Roth was getting very agitated- these people had cats. He hopped about nervously on Melvyn's head and cawed quietly a few times. "Don't mind him..." he muttered.
