A large screeching noise came from above as what seemed to be a large squirrel /raven/snake thing pouched out of the tree above Arabella. Twilight quickly jumped up and Swung her sword ,lopping off the beasts head.

Arabella jumped and then kneeled down at the body. "We are truely sorry, darling creature, but we simply had to eat. Thank you very much for your sacrifice." she whispered to it and picked it up.

Arabella rushed onwards, not wanting to encounter another of the strange species. She emerged into the encampment and saw Ridge constructing a fairly good shelter.
