Kai-lan sat upon a sandy dune when she saw Lyoko coming to visit her. She then smiled and began to shed tears. "Lyoko, my friend," she managed to squeak. "How is my sister- have they figured out that she killed the cub?" she asked.

Lyoko was good friends with Kai-lan, but tended to speak to her as if explaining things to a cub.
"Im sorry Kai-lan"she said nuzzling her "Most arent seeing it the way they should. I know it would help if they tried to listened to you but..."

Kai-lan's smile faded. "I'm doomed to be forever out here," she whimpered as she began to crouch down and cover her eyes. "And my spoiled brat sister is one of the best fighting hunters of the pride, and the males think she has a better scent, and I bet she's murdered more creatures." She then went into a long-winded speech about her sister being better than her.

Lyoko sighed and nodded to Kai-lan's talking. Lyoko was use to it now. "Come on Kai. You are much more knowledgeable than her. And plus, there is a mate for everyone."

Flicking his ears from his prey to where the voices of two lionesses drifted, Relic sighed and gave up on his hunt. He'd eaten already but perhaps his cousin would not mind a bite. Padding slowly over to where Kai-lan and Lyoko were talking he tipped his head to the side in confusion, not having any idea what the one was grumbling about. "Something wrong?" He asked curiously, trying not to sound like he was to interested.

Kai-lan removed a paw from her eyes and saw Relic. "Yeah- it's been wrong for years now," she hissed. "Why are you out here any way, Relic? Shouldn't you be chasing after my sister?"

Lyoko looked up "Oh, hello Relic."she purred. Lyokn was pretty much nice and respectful to everyone except miss you know who. "Nothing is wrong. We were merely talking."

Relic huffed indignantly at her attitude, and sat down as if the say she was not going to run him off. "Yeah, I really know who your sister is when, in truth, I don't know who you are besides your name is Kai-lan and you tend to like to bite others head off when they've done nothing to you." He mused. "I do little and have little to do with the pride except to visit my cousin Kilama." His tail twitched irritably. "Now that I'v had my little speech to the snappish lioness how about I try this again. "Something wrong?" It never ceased to amuse him when annoying others. He smiled at Lyoko, knowing who she was. She seemed nice and respectful, which meant he'd be the same back. "Nice to see you again."

Kai-lan began to mumble personal stuff and things from her memory. "Siding with her." "I never had a chance to tell my side of the story." "Only real friends can be trusted." "Never had a chance against her." She then glared at Relic.

Trying not to grin at her babbling, Relic met her eyes boldly and lay down. "Sounds like you and your sister don't get along." He mused. "Mind if I ask who she is?" He was ready to jump out of the way if she got annoyed. One thing he'd learned is that a angry lioness has sharp claws

"I should really go hunt. Would either of you like to join me?"she asked just to be polite. As she got up to stretch the pride leader surprisingly appeared. Lyoko imidiatly crouched low to show her submissiveness.
