"I know, I know it is been a whi..." Sai stopped in mid sentence hearing a voice. Glancing up, her blue eyes softened as she shook her head. "No. Not at all. You two are welcome to join us" she said motioning to the two empty chairs beside them. A soft smile brushed a cross her face as her tail twitched once glancing over at Raina, who seemed to giggle instantly reconizing Jake as the guy who was staring at Sai. Sai noticed Jake pull his ears back which caused her to bit her lip lightly. She didn't want to make him nervous so she tried to lighten the conversation. "We were just discussing our after lunch activities so you two are good." Sai gave a soft laugh as she curled the end of her tail out of amusment.

"Hello. I"m Raina and this little furry friend here is Sai" Raina smiled warmly trying not to giggle again. She felt Sai's eyes turn cold and burn a hole into her skin. Trying to ignore Sai's irritated glare she tried to get a conversation started. "Hey, You didn't by any chance see our little...entrance did you?" Raina asked curiously pulling her ears back glancing at Sai who's gaze seemed to still be on her. "Heh, We arn't proud of that" Rai said as a pink blush appeared a cross her cheeks, averting her brown eyes to the empty table in front of her. "Raina was excited about going to the track later after lunch" Sai said turning her attention back to Jake trying to ignore the same urge to strangle her friend.

Alice, feeling eyes on her and her 'brother' looked back at a table of antrhos. where a fellow bunny girl was staring at Ryan. She giggled, poking his side. "Ryan! There's a bunny staring at you!~" she teased. Ryan blinked, then glanced back at the table Alice soon indicated. The tiger stood up, gently pulling his 'sister' up and walking over, his tail swishing.

"Ah... Hello. Sorry to bother you, but my friend," he motioned to Alice, who smiled and waved, "says you were staring at me. I came over to prove her wrong," he said, his ears swiveling forward as he gave the bunny a nervous smile.

Alice grinned, her little cotton tail twitching happily. "Hi! I'm Alice and this bit kitty is my best friend, though I call him my brother since we grew up together. His name is Ryan!" she said happily, her ears flicking up as she giggled. 

Mulder grinned as he watched all this take place, the fox and lioness happily bantering. Good times, good times. Still, at her comments about Chriss going back with Cain, both of the two became very very red. Their eyes went wide in unison, though it had to be said that they had very different reasons. Chriss was a little shy, though almost hopeful that he would say yes. Still, there was a nagging voice in the back of her head that told her it would be a bad idea to be alone with the source of her affections. Especially when, according to her special calender, she was due to come into heat soon. Bad idea to be alone with any male when she was in heat. 'I'll have to tell Nina to get the leash again...' She sighed, watching Cain run of with a wry grin, resisting the urge to run after him.

Jake nodded, smiling. He and trevor took seats across from the girls, having gone through seating options logically in their heads. If they both sat by the girl they liked, it would seem an almost predatory action. If they both sat to one side, they wouldn't be able to hold good conversation. So the best option was across. Obviously they thought about things like this way too much. "It's a pleasure to meet you both. I'm Jake and t-" Sai's twitching tail distracted him, bringing a new wave of red. The husky fell silent, watching it as if it held the secrets to the universe. Trevor chuckled, grinning at the girls. "I'm Trevor. I have to say that the reason I came over was because, well... I heard you say something about the track. And I thought, maybe... I could join you." Blood rushed to his cheeks, turning the pale palomino a rosy pink.

At their approach Oz's eyes widened a little, and he grinned at Abby. Well, she had been staring. It was a fact. And it wasn't like Abby to lie about something like that. And by 'like that', he meant anything concerning her affections. She smiled right back, looking up at the tiger with bright honey-gold eyes. "Oh, no, your friend was right. I was definitely staring. After all, you're...um..." Oz's eyes got even bigger. Abby... was tongue tied. She really was shy. Oz didn't know whether to cry or laugh. This was ridiculous. Insane. Unheard of. It was most definitely his imagination. Or... not. He listened to her fumble for words for a few seconds before changing the subject.

"Pleasure to meet you, Alice and Ryan. My friends here are Nina, Andrea, and Abby. I'm Osmond, but please, call me Oz." Nina and Andrea watched all this with only some of the usual nausea, being to shocked at Abby's crippling shyness. Usually the first words out of her mouth upon being approached by an attractive male would be, "Pleased to meetcha. You're very, very attractive. Wanna go to my room, or yours?" Of course, this was what set her apart from her companions. She wasn't afraid to day what she thought. And it didn't mean that she was s.exually permiscuous. In fact, finding a guy she considered worthy of her attention was very rare, and thus, so were her 'encounters'. But this? This was definitely new.

"Really? I would love for you to join me!" Raina grinned revealing her fangs as she griggled softly. "It's lonely sometimes. Sai doesn't like to go with me" she sighed placing her head on her hands. She pulled her ears back and let out a longing sigh. "That's right. I don't like the track. It is way to hot to sit and watch you run from the bleachers" Sai smirked glancing over at Jake noticing his red face.

"Are you okay, Jake?" she asked noticing the redness. Slighlty confused, she sat up straight causing her tail to slip under the table out of view. Raina let out a small chuckle before grinning at Trevor. "Hey, we could race! Oh it has been so long!" Without thinking Raina reached forward and touched Trevor's arm. It took her a few minutes to notic her action and pulled back immediatly. "Sorry! A little to excited" she apologized focusing on the table in front of her. Sai let out a velvet laugh at Raina's acions. "She get's hyper when it comes to running. She thinks people are intimidated of her because she happens to be a cheetah." "It is true! not one kid in physical educaiton wanted to dare try me. It was not far! I'm not that fast." Raina pouted thinking about he very first day of physical education. That was a sad day for her.

When her tail slipped out of view Jake jolted out of his trance, meeting her gaze. The blood drained from his face, eyes wide in horror and embarra.ssment. "What? Oh, yeah. Fine. Just... Just a little distracted. It was nothing. Don't worry about it." Trevor chuckled evily, knowing his friend's weakness for fluff. It was well known, and though he'd never once considered dating any of their friends it was quite well known that he loved Andrea's tail more than life itself. Maybe, just maybe, this girl could be it. Snow leopards were known for their amazingly soft pelts. And she certainly did look fluffy.

As for himself... Well, this Raina, despite being more hyper than Chriss (scary thought) seemed like an interesting person. He chuckled at her comment, shaking his head. "I get much the same reaction. Chriss makes fun of me because I was a racehorse to raise money for my college education. She and Mulder..." He snorted, ears flicking. At her touch, though, a ripple went through him that seemed to hit every vital point. The red grew brighter, and he dropped his gaze. "I-... It's quite alright. I live next door to a housecat. She's quite touchy. I mean... I guess I'm used to it. Don't worry."

Naida's blue-scaled hand ran over her black hair and the girl sighed as her hand smoothed over the two antenni sticking out of her scalp. She rolled her eyes and pulled her long cloak around her body. It wasn't that she was afraid that people would tease her for being a dragonfly, no, it was because she freezing. The 19 year old looked around and chewed her lip, carrying her lunch tray in her other hand.

Putting one foot in front of the other, Naida walked over to a table with a snow leapord. She winced as her fine wings slipped from her cloak and sighed, if it wasn't for the wings and the antenni, she could be cl*censored*ified as a real dragon. She sat down and started to eat her lunch, ignoring the other people.

Naida gulped down the milk in front of her and started on the grotesque looking blob of Spaghetti. She recoiled as she found meat and pushed them away, she she was vegetarian. She muched down the salad, full of onions and expired lettuce with a brown tinge and wiped her mouth. She got up and threw the rest of the food away and then sat back down with the other furries again... '

Sydney shrugged and went back to eating. It was then that she remembered. "Oh, Cain. You'll give me a ride after school, right? To Mulder's performace?" She called out from across the cafeteria. Cain heaved a sigh and turned around, pulling a ring of keys from his pocket and walked back. All the while his throughts stumbled about wildly at what he was going to say. He did want her to come to the house. He wanted to spend more time with Chriss. How though? How?

"Be nice to her, please, Sydney. If she ends up like your scooter-" He was cut off by the dismissive wave again.

"Don't worry, dude," the lioness said with a wild grin on her face. "I'll only take her off the small wee-haws!"

The fur on the back of his neck raised and his body tensed up, causing his hands to clench and his eyes to widen. At his reaction, she laughed loudly and leaned back in her chair. "Oh Cain, you're such a delight to tease!" He growled a bit and his ears lowered. Then he turned to Chriss.

His mind settled on an idea. He swallowed hard and said. "On second thought... I may need you at the house. Just to make sure that the outfit doesn't look unflattering. I trust my imagination, but not 100%. It looks great in my head, but I don't want to muff it up... do you have cl*censored*es right now? Do you mind playing hooky to go get this outfit done?"

From the table, Sydney grinned and laughed a little, masking it with a cough. She leaned to the side to look at Cain's reaction, who was ignoring her quite easily. She turned to Mulder and said. "You'll have to show me where this place is. I don't think I know it. You can see the Sexy Beast car, too." Another giggle was heard and her tail swished happily.
