Jake grimaced, then nodded. Well, so far she hadn't turned him down flat or run off screaming. That was a very good sign. Now to keep from any other outbursts. Still Raina's little comment made his face very tomato-ish, which was always Embarra.ssing. Then the tiny freshman piped up, giving Jake a distraction. He smiled knowingly, and nodded. "Go through the main entrance, head straight down the main alway in the West Wing, at the first side hall turn right. It's the fourth cl*censored* on the left." Finally, something on which he was knowledgeable. The whole conversation had unnerved him a little, and that little question was exactly what he'd needed to regain footing.

If Trevor had been fully horse, he would've been stamping his hooves and fidgeting. Since he wasn't, he settled for wiggling his toes and let his gaze fly around. Suddenly adrenaline was pumping through his body, sure mark of a race to come. He just wanted to get out there and run for all he was worth, test his speed against a cheetah. Feel alive. He looked around at everyone, wanting to get all this weirdness out of the way now. He'd never felt so impatient before. "Alright guys, Jake likes Sai, and I think Sai likes Jake. Ms. Dragonfly, pretty wings. Sparkly. Whatever. Can we go run now?"

Raina gave one last giggle at Trevor's words before getting up and lighlty touching his arm. "Come on. We can go since we were the one's running. Jake and Sai know where the track is. Let them catch up later" she said feelin a little jittery herself. Her tail flicked out of excitement in just the plain thought of running again. She felt the wind that had blew through an open window and a whild grin apeared on her face. Her heart started racing as she thought about how much better the wind would feel when she was actually running against it. "Okay lets go. We are leaving them behind!" Raina let go of Trevor's arm and seemed to jump over a pulled out chair way to lazy to go around or even push it under the table. She was ready to get out on the track and just unleash everything.

Sai pulled her ears back at Trevor's blunt explination of her and Jake. The pink in her face seemed to darken as she glared at the floor. There went her normal day of college. Taking a deep breath, she looked up at Naida and smiled warmly. "Yep, that should get you there" She said softly stepping beside Jake. She watched as Raina headed for the door knowing good and well she was impatient. By the time her and Jake caught up Raina would have been already finished with the track and resting on the bleachers.

Cain chuckled a bit under his breath and watched her large smile, feeling smitten by it. He nodded to Sydney and Mulder. "We'll catch you guys later. Don't worry, I'll bring her back in good condition." He turned around and started walking towards the exit, his tail lifted off the ground and swished a bit with content. As he got to the door, he held it open for his travelling companion, stepping aside and allowing her to go out first before he.

Sydney rolled her eyes. "Ever the gentleman," she whispered under her breath, then turned to Mulder. "Soooo. What are you taking in school?" Her tail resumed flicking from side to side again from behind her. She propped her chin up with her fingers as they interlaced between each other and placed her elbows on the table. She looked directly at Mulder now. She had finished her lunch and left the bag and empty contents within on the table to the side of her, away from between the two.

Biting her lip at the 'in good condition' comment, Chriss let her thoughts wander a bit. Her idea of being in good condition was probably very different from his.To her, 'good condition' meant 'happy as a kitty-cat can possibly be'. Which could mean any number of things. It could mean that there was chocolate cake at the end of this rainbow. Or... uh... different stuff other than chocolate cake. She shook these thoughts of with a giggle, glancing briefly up at Cain before walking out. "I can't wait to see what you have in mind. Those pictures of Sydney were absolutely beautiful. Really and truly."

Mulder shook his head, sighing. "I just hope he's enough of a gentleman to ignore Chriss's... slightly less appropriate side. She can get pretty hard to ignore." He looked up at Sydney, grinning good-naturedly. This was going to be rough, seeing Chriss walk off. And to think, they'd planned to play Emo at the mall today. Now his afternoon was completely empty. "Oh, I do a bit of everything for a drama major. Some Shakespearean Studies, Voice, Crowd-working 101, basic stuff like that. Anything that'll help me on-stage, really. I wanna be the very best, like noone ever was." Immediately the Pokemon theme started in his head, making him chuckle a little. Heh heh... Pokemon...

Trev followed Raina out, walking as calmly as he possibly could out to the track. Obviously she was as eager to run as he was. Finally, a chance to get some of this out. He was practically shaking, though he hid it well. Stealing a glance at the cheetah at his side Trevor dared a smile, which for him was a rather rare ex
pression. A little pink spread across the palomino gold of his pelt, which was equally unusual. Today he seemed quite full of surprises. Perhaps it was because he hadn't run in too long. Still, part of him said that it was the spritely female pacing at his side.

Jake watched them leave, almost a little envious. Above all things he hated akward situations and avoided them at all costs. It seemed as if this one was completely unavoidable. And so he managed to cope, smiling softly at Sai as soon as Trevor's back was out of sight. "He looks really excited. I don't think I've ever seen him so impatient. It's... kind of cute, actually. None of us will run with him, so this is kind of a big deal." He dropped his gaze, which had for a second been unable to leav Sai's.

Abby giggled, the sound making Nina and Andrea actually flinch. She ignored them, focusing on the tiger. "I was thinking something a little different, but that works too." Red peeked out under her pale cream fur, surprising Oz as much as her stammering. Blushing was one thing Abby simply didn't do. Like... Apologizing for a sexual comment that someone found offensive. It was part of the list of behaviors that simply didn't happen. The little bunny cast a quick, split second look of pleading in his direction, effectively startling Oz out of his trance. He smiled to Ryan and Alice, trying to look normal.

"Would... Uhm, would you two like to sit with us? I know we aren't the most exciting, but I'm certain that we shall find some way to keep you entertained." As he said this Nina and Andrea gave each other looks, rising in unison. They simply wouldn't stand for this. Let the lovebirds have a table to themselves, but the two girls refused to be present for this little circus. Oz gestured with a grin at their recently vacated seats, chuckling. "Please, don't mind those two. They have little patience for things with hearts that still beat."

Raina's smile seemed to get wider and wider as they got closer to the track. Her muscles seemed to already ache from the mere  thought of running again. She always loved the feeling she got after she ran. The moments of having to catch your breath, the muscles aching because of the physical activity and of course the adrenaline rush. Who could forget the amazing adrenaline rush? Raina pushed a set of doors open to reveal the black asphalt of the track. Her heart skipped a beat and her extremly large smile faded to a dull smirk. Unknowingly she let out a purr like growl as she exited the building. She was beyond ready to test her skills again. "How are we going to do this? Once around the track or do you want to make things a little more....testy?" Her voice came out in a soft purr as she smirked with playful brown eyes.

Sai nodded with Jake's words realizing how significant they were to Rainai as well. "Well, it may be cute but won't he get tired of Raina's over bearing personality? She's just like a cub on catnip." Laughing she could imagine the whole scene in her head and it was not a pretty sight. "Raina is oblivious and the fact that she finally gets to run will drive her insane. I absoulty refuse to run with her. I am way to lazy. My ideal day is lounging on the couch and just resting. No physical activity required" Sai let out a soft sigh as she walked towards the exit. "Do we really have to go to the track and walk or would you rather do something else?" she asked curiously turning to look at Jake. In her opinion it was way to hot outside and it was Raina and Trevor's thing to be on the track, not hers.

'Drama major! Ahh! Such a colorful personality' Her mind screamed. Sydney stared long into Mulder's eyes, fascinated entirely. Men with character was what she loved and wanted. He could make so many of them, it was impossible to not find him engaging. It took a moment for Sydney to realize Mulder had stopped talking and her ears perked up with alertness and she laughed a little, softly, at his reference. Knowing exactly what he was hinting at. She then said. "Well, you won't have to worry about Cain. He's as noble and chivalrous as they come. He won't get his head out of the 1800s," she shrugged a bit and smiled, flashing her sharp, pearly whites. "So. The question now is: To skip, or not to skip?" She twirled the keyring on her index finger, keeping her chin in her paw and a fiendish grin on her face.

Cain started off towards the parking lot, walking past all the vehicles and onto the gr*censored*. "My house isn't far from here. I usually drive on cold days, or when I don't feel like having Sydney around me for a long while." He smiled a bit, still thinking on the compliment she just gave. "And well... I don't see the true beauty in Sydney's pictures anymore. I'll show you the ones before. She didn't always look the way she does now." He glanced back to Chriss and smiled a little. "Th-Though it still doesn't compare t-to urrh..." He trailed off, finding his stammering words too much to bear and decided to cut himself off and look around. His ears flopped down to his head and his face seemingly drooped as his cheeks burned with fluster. "What's your favorite color?" He asked.

'Smooth, Cain. Let's keep this up. I'm sure she loves filling in the blanks.' He thought to himself, wincing and ducking his head into his shoulders. 'Moron.' His mind added.

Naida cocked her head as she walked in the direction she had been told to get to the room she needed, though lunch was barely over. She gazed in the opposite direction at the track. I*ll visit there later. Naida thought with a glint in her eye. She gazed at the watch on her arm and sighed happily, deciding she would go now, rather than later. She dropped off her stuff in the next cl*censored*room, lucky that theproffesor was there, and bounded over to the track. She pressed her face against the fence, wonderinghow Raina had gotten in...

 Seth laid out across the bench in the hallway, yawning long and wide and closing his eyes. His oddly colored fur attracted the attention of many around him, some would stare and perform perfect rubber-neck positions to gaze upon the blue and purpled hued kangaroo. His large feet and long, thick tail covered the whole bench, so none could sit beside him. With the use of his backpack, Seth propped his head up and made himself comfortable. Once situated, Seth's mind began to wander and examine business deals, possible money-making tactics, and his homework. A heavy sigh escaped his maw and his eyes flittered open. He saw the people p*censored* and stare at him and he growled a bit with disdain. "It was an experiment gone wrong..." he muttered under his breath.

Naida, decidign that just a blank track was boring to watch, started to float away from the track. Her shimmering wings made the cape billow out behind her as they beat 100 times per second. She zoomed, flittiedmight be a better term, to the hallway. Her cloak fluttered down on her back again as her wings lay silent, no buzzing to be heard.

Walking, Naida turned her gaze when she p*censored*es a blue and purple hued kangaroo. Her eyes lit up, "Hey, what are you doing all alone?" The frechman asked, sitting down in front of the kangaroo anthro. The antenna on her head dropped to the other side when her head cocked as she awaited an answer..
