Sly couldn't help but chuckle after he noticed he had scared the fox. "Haha yea better et used to it. And I'm Sly, one of the best foxes you'll meet." He boasted. "And who are you?" He asked.

(uh, wolfie wont be on for a while. she doesnt attend to the site very much... maybe shadows attention could be caught by friendlys shout, and comes to investigate?)
Friendly tilted his head. "Sly, eh? thats what my dad was called. anyways- I'm friendly." He shoved his paw onto Sly's mouth. "and dont you dare say. 'what a weird name' cuz i've had enough of that in my life." Friendly then replaced his paw to the ground.

Brad whined slightly, he would never expect in a million years this would be his first experience. "I'm so sorry I just..." Brad stopped for a moment, he could smell a much larger creature moving towards him. "Uuuuuuuh, Shadow? it smells like something pretty big is coming towards us." He said in a trembling voice. He slowly walked forward and he saw a bear! "RUN!!!" He shouted. "BEAR!!!" He ran off as quick as he could and hid behind a tree.

Shadow was right on his tail as they ran,using all her speed to keep up as she high-tailed it towards the same tree. The bear stopped and sniffed the air before changing direction and heading towards a berry bush,obviously not in the mood to have fox for dinner,yet. "I think we're safe.",she muttered to Brad before looking at him.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Friendly heard the cry of another fox, and the scent of a bear. The scent seemed to be coming nearer- now, it was very strong. He looked out from underneath the berry bush, and there is was- a large, brown bear. Friendly leapt into the muddy marsh with a loud splash to hide himself and his scent, and hoped that Sly would do the same.

Sly smelled the bear too. As he saw Friendly leap into a bush he wanted to see the bear himself. Sly never got to see one before because his sister said they were blood thirsty, but Sly never believed her. As the bear came closer and closer Sly watched it from a different bush than Friendly. The bear was huge and hairy and had sharp teeth. Sly gasped and the bear hear it. It then roared and swung at Sly. "Friendly!" He cried and ran as fAst as he could from the bear which was now chasing him.

Brad lied down behind the tree, "Damn it! The dents getting stronger again! Well have to keep running." Brad said in a tired out voice to Shadow as he stood up and started to run again.

Friendly leapt out of the marsh, with muddy wet fur, and ran after the bear, and of course, Sly. "Keep off him, you foul beast!" He cried. When he got close enough, Friendly collected the right amount of energy to leap up onto the powerful bears back. He climbed up to the head, and bit it's eye. He clinged on with all the power in his jaws. Blood poured onto the ground as the bear swung Friendly around to get him off of his eye. Friendly did not let go, and hoped Sly would get to safety whilst he could.

Sly looked in back of him and noticed Friendly biting the bears eye off. He badly wanted to help Friendly but there was nothing to do. "Friendly quick while the bear is hurt! We have to get outta here!" He shouted Sly then jumped onto the bear after Friendly and prow him off the bear. "Come on!" He shouted and ran away. He noticed the bear still in pain and crying out and hoped Friendly would follow.

Friendly was pulled off the bear by Sly, and he kinda wished he hadn't. Friendly was holding on so tight that when Sly had pulled him off, the beats eyeball had come away with him. At least that would keep the bear distracted. Friendly ran faster than he had ever ran, and when he thought it was a safe distance, glanced back at the bear who was now roaring in pain with blood pouring from it almost like a small tap. Friendly spat out the eyeball in disgust.

Sly laughed a bit after Friendly had spit out an eyeball. "Haha that was amazing! Did you feel the adrenaline back there!? You were awesome!" he exclaimed as he croched down in front of Friendly as if he wanted to play with him, like dogs did,. "And the bear was all like- ROAR!! ROAR!- but you- you were brave and bit off its eye!" he shouted. Sly calmed down a bit and decided it was best for them to travel a bit more away from the dangerous bear.

Friendly just realised that he could consider himself a hero. He had saved Sly. He listened with his head held high to what Sly had to say to him, and it really did make him feel special. He couldn't help but put on a smug face, in fact the smuggest of smug. "HE won't be ...coming back anytime soon... He might even... Bleed to death." Friendly shoved out of his mouth Inbetween deep breaths of exhaustion.

Sly laughed and began to walk with Friendly. "Haha yea, anyway what now? How long have you been out here on your own?" he asked. Up ahead was the small clearing where his brother and sister had left him. It felt like they were abandoning him though. Like they hated him now and didnt want him. "Over there." he said picking up his pase a bit.

Friendly struggled to keep up with Sly. He was tired. A lot. Despite this, he followed after his friend by a short distance. He was not in the mood for answering questions right now, and stayed quiet hoping that Sly wouldn't think he was being rude.

Brad stopped as quick as he could. So quick that he skidded scross the leaves and did a roley poley. He turned around to see a bear shaking its head like crazy with blood pouring from its eye. "Woah!!! Look what that bears got itself into!!! I wonder what did it..." He said rather confused. He ran up to it once it had lay down on the floor, acting like it was dead. "Hello?" He said and tapped it on the shoulder. He sat down and stated at it. Suddenly it scratched him in the face. "Yooooooowwwww!!!!" He screamed in pain as he jumped back and fell over. "Shadow..." He said in a voice of aggony.

Sly noticed his silence. "I see.. You dont have to talk about it." he assured. He finalyreached the clearing where Sly was dropped off. The grass there was green and had a river nearby, he figured Friendly needed some rest. "You can just rest here." he said motioning to a soft patch of grass.

Friendly was glad that Sly understood. 'At last, another fox that understands me...' He thought. He was interrupted by the pain filled yowl behind him. There lay the bear, and another small orange figure beside it. "Come, Sly! Somebody has been hurt." He shouted over the the fox reccomending a patch of grass. He turned round and began trotting, the fastest pace he could go at right now.

Sly heard it too but didnt think Friendly should have gone, he was too beaten up already. Sly ran right in front of Friendly, stopping him. "Sorry Friendly but you cant.You need your rest. Just, stay here I'll be back." he said sternly. There was no way he could let him go like that, not now that he was tired and hurt. Sly then ran towards the sound.
