Bradley moved to quickly follow after Ashten, still worried about him possibly collapsing again. He wanted to be by him in case he needed to be caught.
Bradley caught the shadow's movement out of the corner of his eye. He turned his head sharply in its direction, but would have passed it off as a trick if the mind had Ashten not said anything.
"Uh... I did," Bradley responded quietly.

Then there it stud. A shadow in the shape of a tall man.
Ashten froze. He didn't know what to make of this.
Ashten was terrified. He reached back towards Bradely making sure he was still there.

Bradley instinctively grabbed Ashten's hand when he was reached for and pulled him back behind himself, using his body to shield Ashten from the strange man. Bradley gave the man a wary look, eyes narrowed and his mouth set in a thin line as he stared the man down, not daring to look away.
"Who are you?" he demanded.
((I figured that's where you were going with this. XD And I've been going along with it. :3))

The figure just stud there. But it closed in to where it was hovering over them.
It extended its hand, and formed it to the perfect point. Then when it went to stab them, but the moment it touched Ashtens skin, it disappeared with a breeze of freezing cold air.
"That was by far the weirdest thing I've even seen." Ashten said brushing hair out of his face.

Bradley tensed as the figured got closer. He tried to shield Ashten, but the man's hand forming into a point was too much to comprehend and it all happened too quickly for him to react.
A few moments after the man disappeared, Bradley quickly turned to face Ashten with a worried ex
pression. "Are you okay?" he asked quickly. "Did he injure you?"

"N-no." he said.
"I think we should go back to the cave and look for the kid tomorrow." Ashten was not ready to continue after that scene. But things only seemed to come out at night.

Bradley frowned, not liking the idea of leaving someone alone out here for the night. But he knew Ashten must be really worn out. Bradley couldn't blame him for wanting to safely go back to sleep.
"You and the girl can go back," he said. "I'll go look for the kid." He didn't like the idea of being alone, but he was more worried about the safety of the others than his own. He could handle being alone for a little bit, and with any luck he'd find the person who'd yelled soon enough.
"Um, where did she go?" he asked, looking around for the girl and hoping she hadn't run off.

Ashten didn't want to leave Bradely alone, but he also didn't want to faint again.
His fist were clenched and he walked slowly through the trees. He wondered if Bradely would be gone long so he would sit. By the cave until he got back.
As he walked towards the direction of the cave, Ashten felt dizzy, but before he could sit down, he fell.
"Now? Really?" he mumbled as he fell to the ground.

Spirit had walked off to the ring, where it had burned, and made her pass out. She stood in the middle and sighed as she watched the small flames still burn. It felt like it was midnight, but it was only 11:30 at night, close to midnight anyway's.. She sat down and was greeted by the warmth of the small flames. It was a good place to sleep, and a good small spot to make a bigger fire, to be protected, even though something had tried to destroy her earlier. She didn't mind, as long as that something.. Or someone... Would keep away from her, other wise, their would be a rather large kick ass fight. She lied down and sighed as she covered her ears with her earphone's and turned on her IPod, their were certan zones where certan electronic's would work...

Bradley watched Ashten go until he disappeared behind the trees. He sighed softly, hoping the other male would be alright on his own for a bit, since that girl seemed to have disappeared.
Not wanting to waste too much time, Bradley hastily made his way through the trees to the source of yell.
It didn't take him more than a few minutes to find it. He saw another boy about his age laying flat on the ground. Hesitantly, Bradley approached him and touched his shoulder.
"Hey, are you okay?" Bradley asked.

Ashten groaned in pain. He had hit his head at the fall and blood dripped down his face.
"Damn it..." He said rolling over to see who tapped him.
Ashten sighed and looked up at Bradely. "Really. What would I do with out you."
Unaware of his past life, Ashten had always been the clumsy one. He also had a disease that caused him to occasionally faint.

Bradley paled when he saw the blood. "Oh jeez," he muttered, carefully trying to wipe it away with his sleeve to keep it out of Ashten's eyes.
After a few moments of this, Bradley stopped and sighed, trying to think things over. Ashten was in no condition to be walking around on his own, but Bradley really didn't like how much time had passed since the yell. He was still really worried about its source.
Finally, he turned so his back was to Ashten as he crouched. "Get on my back," he told the other boy. "I'll carry you. We'll go see if we can find who yelled and if not we'll head back to the cave." Ashten seemed light enough to be able to carry, even if Bradley didn't feel at full strength.

"What?!" Ashten said at a loud whisper, he didn't feel the strength to refuse.
After getting on Bradely's back, he stayed silent. Knowing Bradely couldn't see his face he turned red.
Ashten laid his head on the back of Bradely's left shoulder.
"Sorry..." he mumbled.

Bradley just smiled. "Don't be sorry for the things you can't help," he said. He wrapped his arms under Ashten's knees to keep him secure then carefully stood up. The weight on his back was a little overwhelming at first, but not enough to bring him down, and after the first few steps, it became easier.
Bradley back-tracked to where they had been when they first parted ways, then followed the direction the sound came from.
It didn't take more than a few minutes until Bradley saw the person, laying flat on his back. He carefully made his way over to him and knelt down beside him.
"Hey, you alright?" he asked the unknown boy, reaching out to shake his shoulder.

Alexander, who by that time had lifted a hand to his head, jumped when he felt someone touch his shoulder, only to let out a pained groan afterwards and attempt to curl up. He opened his eyes after a moment or two, blurred golden-hazel eyes haphazardly focusing onto the other male. "Wh-who...a-are you....?" he asked, sounding slightly breathless. He slowly pushed himself into a sitting position, though he groaned again when he felt a distinct pain shooting across his spine and his vision blurred as a wave of dizziness and slight nausea washed over him.
"O-ow... F-falling out of a tree....r-really...hurts..." he mumbled, coughing a moment later. |

"Uh we don't want to hurt you. We just heard you scream." Ashten said
He scanned the boy for wounds, but found none.
"What happened? Why were you in a tree?"

"My name's Bradley," Bradley introduced, then shifted slightly to keep Ashten on his back better. "And this is Ashten."
Bradley then glanced up at the tree, wondering how far the kid had fallen. But there were plenty of branches and he couldn't tell where the other male had been, so he directed his attention back to him.
"Are you injured anywhere?" he asked, adding to Ashten's questions. "Oh, and what's your name?" He'd never gotten the girl's name, and in a way that somewhat bothered him.
