Charlotte smiled easily, blinking a few times before she answered. "I just went to check something out. It's no big deal, is it?" She raised one eyebrow at him, watching him wrestle with Jason.

Jason yelped, trying to yank his head out of the tight hold Severin had on it. "No fair!" he hissed, digging his fingers into Severin's ribs, "you got me when I wasn't looking!" He wheezed, trying to breath with his arm around his neck.

"Doing what?" Josh repeated scathingly. "I'm a trained as sas sin. You should pretty much know what I do for a living." His eyes narrowed into slits again as he growled at Destery. "Don't. Touch. Me." He pried the living parasite he viewed him as, off of his shoulder and hopped off the lowest part of the roof.

He landed with a dull thud, cat-like eyes scanning the area around him. "and, you are going to leave me alone soon, because I prefer to shower, eat and sleep, without someone watching over me like an over-obsessed freak." He looked at him with an icy glare.

"Not really, I guess not," Severin said, tilting his head a bit. He ignored Jason for a moment, thinking of things Charlotte could have down in about thirty seconds. "And, hey, you stop that." Severin growled, looking down at Jason. He pushed his knee in between his legs, still growling some. "Or I'll knee you in the groin from behind."

I'll touch you all I want. Destery thought, jumping down after Josh. He landed neatly beside him, and he turned to smile at him, almost completely unoffended by Josh's harsh words. "I'm not obsessed with you," he said simply, still smiling. Conceited. he added in his head, and he chuckled. "I just like stalking people until I get an idea of what their life is like."

Jason, eyes wide, panicked. "Plee*censored*eee don't!" he begged Severin, "My step dad did that once and it hurt for weeks!" He paused, realizing what he said, and corrected himself quickly, "Erm, I mean my friend did that to me once!" He tried squeezing his head out of Severin's hold again.

Charlotte smiled, lips spreading over pearly white teeth to show her fangs. "You keep looking at me funny," she said, studying him over while he ignored the squealing Jason. "Is there something wrong?"

"I pity the lake that drowns you," Josh muttered frostily as he turned away from Destery and stalked into the park. He was dying of thirst; the burning in his throat was driving him up a wall, and the annoying vampire following him wasn't helping.

"Well, you never really get over it." Damon started to explain, laying on his back with his hands folded behind his head.

"No matter how much you drink, you can still feeling it, albeit how little you do. Always at the back of your head, burning in your throat and veins. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I can influence dreams."

"Cut it out," Severin hissed, tightening his hold on Jason. Then, he looked back up at Charlotte, blinking once, and then shook his head. "No, it's nothing. I'm just wondering what you could have possibly down in a matter of seconds." he explained, and he raised an eyebrow at Charlotte. "You like kinda scary, you know. What with your giant fangs and that intimidating yet intruging look you've got on."

Destery laughed. "Lakes can't drown vampires, stupid~!" he exclaimed, smacking Josh on the side of the head. Yes, he was trying to get on Josh's nerves, although he was sure he already was. And, of course, he was playing dumb. Best and easiest way to annoy someone like Josh: Pretend to be as idiotic as possible. he thought.

Josh hissed, eyes narrowing into slits. "Now I know," he said slowly as he stopped walking. The wind rustled his dyed black hair gently. "You did not just hit me," Images flashed through his mind of him strangle Destery, ripping off his head and doing other things of violent nature to him. A sickeningly dark smile spread across his face.

Jason dug his nails into Severin's arm, a drop of blood trickling from one of the cuts he made. Still wriggling and gasping for breath, his face turned a shade of red close to that of Charlotte's eyes.

Charlotte chuckled softly, rolling her eyes at Severin. "I can do a lot of things in a few seconds; I'm a vampire." She winked, which added onto the double-edge meaning to that, and continued, "And, because I'm a vampire, I should look scary and unattractive to you." She smirked. "You're a werewolf; it's only natural."

She looked at Jason, ignoring the tempting smell of Severin's blood, and said quietly, "You know, I think you might be squeezing his neck to hard. I think his eyes are starting to bulge out of his head." 

"Wh...what? Oops," Severin looked down at Jason, letting him go. He blinked at him, leaning down a bit so he could meet him at eye level. "Sorry. I guess I don't know my own strength..." he said quietly, his brow furrowing. It's not like he had meant to choke to breath out of him. It was an accident.

"I hit you," Destery said softly, smirking. "What of it?" He could almost feel some sort of anger radiating off Josh. If he was actually angry enough to want to fight him, then he'd have fun. Of course, he knew that Josh was probably just as strong as he was. That just meant more fun.

Rosa stared at him for a long while, chills dancing along her spine. "Oh."

Josh only blinked a few times, letting himself cool, and continued to walk on. Destery wants a fight, he though to himself. So I won't give him one. He smiled, eyeing a woman and her child, the last two people in the park. Easy prey...but would Destery be up to killing a toddler?

Charlotte picked up a small rock off the ground, closed her hand around it, and then opened it again. Sand fell out of her palm as she smiled coolly. "I know the feeling," she said simply, glancing at Jason with a semi-concerned look on her face.

Jason gave her a look of the deepest loathing and shook himself off, sucking in deep, rattling breaths as his face returned to a normal shade of pink. He looked agitated and unhappy.

Destery sighed, shaking his head a little. "You're really looking at a women and her toddler?" he hissed under his breath. "They won't provide much of a meal, for one thing, and it's definitely immoral." Let's do it! he thought a little excitedly, and then he smacked himself mentally. His tongue betrayed him: "But, then again, they're easy prey..."

Severin glanced up from Charlotte and then down to Jason, and then sighed heavily, rubbing a hand through his own hair. Jeez, I could've killed him. he thought, looking away and glaring in the general direction of the world. And this chick. he added in his head, looking at Charlotte through the corners of his eyes. She's weird.

"Yeah..." Rosa said slowly, stomach doing a little flip. "Right. Um..." She blinked, looking him over carefully. "What do you want to talk about now?"

Josh smirked. "It's food," he said with a grunt as he slid behind a tree to keep out of sight. "And I'm thirsty... Join in if you want, but I call the woman." He licked his lips as his throat burned more fiercely.

Jason stood up, shaking out his hair grumpily. He glanced up at the sky, where the moon was starting to become visible; it was only half full. A few stars peeked out from behind the thick clouds, but besides that, nothing else was visible in the darkening atmosphere.

Charlotte smiled, knowing perfectly well that he was looking at her, and started to run a hand absently through her hair. "It's going to storm tonight," she said quietly, eyes raking the dense clouds. "I can feel it in the air." 

Destery shook his head, stepping into the darkness to avoid being seen himself. "At least kill the kid, too. It would be pretty mean to let him grow up an orphan...and he might become a vampire hunter or something of that sort." He cocked his head at the thought; that same thing had happened to him before. "I'll take the kid," he added, nodding.

Severin sighed again, crossing his arms tightly. "Yeah, well, I don't care." he said, looking up at the sky himself. It definitely looked like it was going to rain, but again, he didn't care. If the weather was going to be bad, he'd just go home. He'd gotten bored of being out all this time, anyway. It started with going out and buying scotch, and now it was this.

{ I'm going on a trip for the week.. this'll probably be my last post in a while. ^^" }

Rosa only sighed, not knowing what else to do; she was pitifully bad at starting conversations. "Okay...bye..."

Josh ignored Destery, not really giving care about what happened to the mortal child. So what if he grew up demented and hell-bent on killing vampires? What did he care? Sliding behind another tree, closer to them, he drew in a deep breath and tried to focus on the woman's scent.

Charlotte snorted, rolling her eyes. "You don't care about much, do you?" she said in a teasing voice. "Being a lone-wolf or something like that, aren't you?" She focused on him for a moment, and stopped playing with her hair. It was a bad habit of her to do that when she was bored.

Jason yawned, stretching out his arms and neck as he looked up again. "My mum'll kill me if I get wet," he said. "The step-loser'd probably give me the belt or something too." He smiled at Severin easily, and then gave Charlotte a filthy glare. "I gotta go; bye!"

He started to walk aimlessly back towards where he thought his house was.

"Don't mess up~" Destery cooed from his place behind another tree. He wanted him to mess up. Half because then he'd have to come in and kill them himself, and he'd get to rub that in his face for a while, and half because it would be immoral to kill a mother and her child. Although, Destery wasn't exactly sure if he cared much. He'd killed lots of people in his lifetime.

"No, I don't," Severin answered smoothly, cocking his head slightly. He was actually a little glad Charlotte stopped playing with her hair; it was like she was egging him on. To do what, he wasn't sure, but that's what his head was telling him. His head snapped to side to look at Jason when he spoke, and he smiled right back, but frowned when he frowned at Charlotte. "...Sneak in even if you don't get rained on!" Severin shouted after Jason.
