"Let's hope I don't miss," Josh hissed under his breath as he took a step forwards. "And accidently bite the wrong person." His eyes flickered to Destery for a moment before he looked at the woman again. Her eyes met his, but before she could scream he sprung from his hiding spot, teeth sinking into her throat. The only sound that came from her now was a low gurgle.

"What an attitude to have," Charlotte purred, tsking. "Ever had a girlfriend?" she asked him, eyes flickering towards the sky for a moment. The storm was going to be rough; but she'd be back in her house by then, hopefully. 

Damon did as she asked, left when she wanted him to. So why did he feel so alone without her beside him? He shouldn't feel like this, not about a werewolf. He cursed to himself, his head whipping to the side when he heard a noise.

"Why hello, Damon." The voice said, malice dripping within the words. Damon's lips curled into a sneer, answering back.

"Logan." 

Destery's eyes widened slightly when Josh lunged at the woman, as he himself didn't have a chance to react. Before Josh bit into her neck, Destery ran over, taking the woman's child and snapping his neck cleanly. No sense in letting him live; he'd decided on that earlier. "Nice," he commented, sitting down and pushing the child's body away. It's not like he was going to feed off a child. "Couldn't have done it any better myself."

Severin cocked his head. What did she care? He didn't really want to tell her, but then again, he'd never had much of an interest in being a boyfriend. And, it seemed to him like he didn't have time to be all lovey-dovey with some chick. Besides, he hated people, so he'd probably end up shooting down every girl who ever became interested in him. "No," he said simply, shaking his head a bit. "I don't think I want one, either."

 Josh drank from her until she was dry, dropping her body when he was finished. Turning to Destery, he wiped his mouth with his jacket sleeve, getting rid of the blood there. He nodded at the child, ignoring Destery's previous comment. "Aren't you thirsty?"

Charlotte smiled. "I figured," she said airily, tossing her hair over her shoulder. "You don't seem like the type that's ready for commitment." She glanced upwards at the darkening sky again. Stifling a sigh, she looked back to him. "I have to go. I'm not a big fan of rain."

Destery tilted his head a bit. When Joshua drank from that human, he reminded Destery of the stereotypical, grotesque sort of vampire that they were supposed to be. Although, he'd never really thought about that sort of thing. It just never crossed his mind. After all, if vampires existed, they were meant to be. "Eh?" Destery said, snapping out of his thoughts. He looked down at the child, and then shook his head. "Oh, no. Not really." he answered.

Freaky as.s girl. Severin thought, nodding a bit and crossing his arms. It was starting to get a little chilly out. Then again, she is a vampire. "Yeah, whatever," he said, shrugging his shoulders. He liked rain, especially the way it left the outdoors smelling so clean. And the air tasted good, too. "I suppose I'll see you around, then." he added, turning and walking away. Damn. He'd spent more time outside than he'd wanted to that day.

Josh smirked, wiping at his mouth again. "Right. Then, help me get rid of the bodies." His eyes flickered upwards. "Before it starts raining." He picked up the woman, and slug her over his shoulder carelessly.

Charlotte paused, smirking comically. She mouthed his words to herself once more. 'I suppose I'll see you around, then.' She said under her breath, aware his ears could pick it up, "Yes. We'll see again, I guess. You'd enjoy that, wouldn't you." With one more flip of her hair, she disappeared around the corner.

Destery sighed, standing up and pulling the child's body onto his own shoulder. Just to be devilish, he thought about putting the body on Josh's back and saying it was his responsibility, then possibly running off. He decided against it, though, and let out a breathy groan. "It is going to rain, huh?" he said, looking up at the sky. Nasty, nasty sky. It was just mad at them for killing innocent people.

Severin made a face (a disgusted one, at that), and turned, staring after Charlotte. "Eww," he said, shaking his head and walking off. "I would not enjoy it..." he muttered, stuffing his hands into his jeans pockets and pouting...in a manly, Severin-ish way. It was getting cold out, and he had no shirt! What the hell, Charlotte!? he thought.

Josh nodded, inhaling deeply through his nose for a moment. "I'm positive." Adjusting the woman on his shoulder, he frowned. "Right. Where are we gonna put these?" he asked, nodding to the kid the Destery was holding.

Charlotte, humming to herself, twirled her keys around her finger and walked up the steps to her house, pricking her ears carefully. Nobody was following her. Excellent. She strode inside, locked the door behind her, and collapsed on the bed she hardly used. Her cat, Shinx, landed on her stomach and started purring. She stroked her soft fur gently, thinking about how Severin's fur was just as soft.

Destery dug through his pockets, and came up with a lighter, which he flicked on. "I usually burn the body, and then bury the ashes," he said, smiling at the little flame. He flicked the lighter's cap closed, and stuffed it back into his pocket. "How's that sound?" he asked, cocking his head at the other vampire.

Severin looked up, sniffing the air. Well, now he knew where Jason lived. The building he had stopped at practically stank with his scent. Not that he cared where the other lived. But, if he was ever bored, he could just drop in through the boy's window and scare the crap out of him while he slept or something. Or hide in his closet and pounce on him the next morning. He sniffed the place again. Now, he wanted to know where Charlotte lived...

"Smoke attracts too much attraction," Josh muttered. "Unless you can find a secluded spot not too far from here." He frowned. "No, I usually just bury it in a cornfield somewhere. But I want to get this over with, so he'll just go with your idea." He paused, and added on with a jeering smirk, "What are you, a pyro?"

"Only on the days that end in d-a-y," Destery said, giving Josh his usual, maybe even annoying smile. "Usually, you don't get much smoke. It depends on what that person was wearing and stuff like that," he explained, walking up next to Joshua. For a moment, he just stared at him, as if he were contemplating something. "Are vampires flammable?" he asked, cocking his head sharply.

Josh shook his head. "I've tried it," he said simply. "Not very flammable. Clothes are, vampires aren't." He chuckled, trying not to compare Destery to a confused golden retriever puppy. "I've heard our venom is very flammable though." He shrugged. "Anyways. Where are we going to burn these?"

I mean, Charlotte pretends to sleep, so her neighbors don't get weirded out when she's awake at 3am, but yeah. XD }
