Rosa blinked, confused. "I-Is this your brother?" she asked timidly, swallowing against the lump forming in her throat. A frown grew on her face as she jumped to her feet, bristling. Her yellow/green eyes were wide.

Josh frowned, almost going to point out the fact that he and Destery were not lovers. He glanced up at Logan, taking one step backwards. "No fair," he hissed unhappily half to himself, half to Destery. "Where did this guy come from?"

"Yes, Logan Salvatore. Nice to meet you, mutt." Logan growled to her. Damon snarled, glaring up at his figure.

"What's not fair? I said I was watching the show. Hell, I'll be ref. if you need me to." 

Raising an eyebrow, Severin almost scoffed. Why would he watch her change? He wasn't some teenaged boy with raging hormones. No. He was completely in control of his hormones. "No," he said, answering truthfully. "I wouldn't watch a girl change. I'm not creepy." At least, not like that. I'm creepy because I'm a freakin' wolf thing. he thought, frowning a little.

Destery raised an eyebrow. Lovers? Didn't Josh call him his friend earlier? Oh, yeah, he was making fun of them. I ought to kick his *censored* for that. he thought, lips pressing to a thin line. He didn't like being made fun of too much. Then, his head snapped up, looking up at the other vampire. Crap, how many freakin' vampires had he missed the whole time he'd been living here? "There's the third." he muttered, scowling.

"You're a guy," she muttered, not totally believing him, with a roll of her eyes. "Then tell me, what were you watching? All I did was read and lay in bed. How long have you been out there, anyways? Not long, I hope?" She frowned. "And, do you want some coffee or something? You look dead on your feet."

Rosa snarled. It was a loud, feral noise. To anyone who hadn't been looking at her, it was hard to believe that the noise had come such a small person. "I'm not a mutt," she snapped, hands starting to shake slightly. "And I don't care who the hell owns this land. I live here. Get over it." her mouth twisted into an angry, challenging smile. "And while your at it, get over yourself."

Josh blinked a few times at Rosa, having jumped at her snarl. He frowned at Destery. "I think their distracted," he said quietly, referring to Rosa, Damon and Logan. "Maybe we can make a run for it?" He smiled faintly, hoping Destery would heed his advice and ditch with him. 

"Not a chance." Damon replied, snapping his eyes towards Josh. Logan dropped from his position, landing on his feet in front of Rosa.

"Excuse me, mongrel?" He growled out. "Do you want to die?" 

This time, Severin really did scoff. He looked dead? Weren't vampires just dead humans walking around with a thirst for blood? Instead of mentioning his thoughts aloud, he said, "Not too long, I think." And then he blinked, considering her offer. "Yes, please. Black." he told her, nodding. He had always liked strong coffee.

Destery snarled at Damon. "I don't care either. We can leave whenever the hell we want," he spat through his teeth. He was baring his fangs as he spoke. "This is goddamn free country, and this isn't anyone's goddamn territory. I've been living here for a good long time, and I'm not gonna leave just 'cause some vampires who think they own the place tell me to." He looked at Josh, jerking his head in the other direction. He kind of thought that Damon wouldn't follow them if that Logan guy was here. He'd probably want to deal with him.

Either that, or they'd both come after them. That wouldn't be good.

A low growl rumbled through Logan's chest as his hand flew up and wrapped around Rosa's neck. Damon snarled, torn between attacking Damon and attacking Josh. He made his decision, baring his fangs as he launched himself towards Josh, grabbing his shirt.

"Where the f*ck do you think you're going?" 

Vampires were fast. Just as Josh turned, Destery tensed his legs, prepared to bolt. And then Josh sprinted from where he'd been standing, actually dragging Destery for a second before he quickly found his footing and ran alongside him. He could've done without Josh's hand aorund his wrist, but he kinda liked it. It was like holding his hand, but he wasn't, so it wasn't.

And then he saw Damon, and then Damon grabbed Josh's shirt, and Destery snarled. He stopped, raised a clenched fist and drove it into the side of Damon's face.

Severin twitched his nose. Was that blood he smelled? He shook off the scent, bringing the cup of coffee to his lips and taking a sip. Strong. Good. He took a long drink from the cup, and then simply held it in his hands. The warmth of the coffee was nice. "Sorry," he apologized, and then raised his cup a little. "Thanks, by the way."

Damon felt his face whip to the side, his grip on Josh's shirt tightening as he released one hand and returned the hit to Destery. Logan looked to them, smirking, before turning back to Rosa. 

"What does he like about you, mutt?" He asked softly, before letting go and running to Damon's aid. "Now, two against one isn't fair." He chastised. 

"No problem," she said, taking a sip of her own coffee. It was a rich reddish-black color. There was a long, drawn out silence, the only thing to be heard was the ticking of the clock as the seconds raced by. Charlotte only stared at her feet, listening to something in the distance. Probably just a few humans fighting, she decided.

Rosa gasped, falling to her knees. Tears spilled down her cheeks as she struggled to get air into her burning lungs. Clutching her throat, she looked up at Josh, Destery, Damon, and Logan. She didn't know what Damon liked about her. All she knew was that she didn't like Logan at all. And that the other vampires were in deep trouble.

Josh wriggled around in Damon's hold, slipping out of his shirt. {yay <3 P:} He swung, fist aimed at Logan's jaw. It connected with a crack, but he wasn't sure if that was Logan's jaw, or one of his knuckles. But, judging by the pain flaring up his arm, he guessed he'd broken both. "Leave us alone," he hissed.

Severin ducked his head, staring into the dark color of his coffee. The smell was just as strong as the taste of it, which had really woken him up. Before he'd taken a drink from the coffee, he really was half asleep. Maybe that's why he'd stalked Charlotte to her home and stared at her window. "Hear that?" he asked, looking up from his cup.

Destery had expected to be hit back. But, he hadn't been expecting to be smacked to the ground. Nothing was apparently broken, but he'd thought he'd heard a wet pop, as if a bone had cracked. Quickly, Destery got to his feet, rubbing at his neck and growling. He would've said something, but Josh beat him to it. Instead, he simply glared at the other vampire.

"Learn your place." Logan replied, snapping his jaw back into place before aiming a hit at Josh's ribs, and connecting.

"Logan, you learn yours." 

( ...Wait, what? Isn't Damon the one who hit Destery and who Josh hit? D:? )

Josh hit Logan.

Logan just owned Josh. P: I think. }

Josh gasped in shock as he felt a rib snap. "Damn it," he groaned, holding his side. "We didn't even do anything!" His eyes started to water, but he refused to let any tears fall. He only gritted his teeth against the pain in his right hand and his ribs, straighting out gingerly. That's when he noticed he had no shirt on.

Without warning, Rosa flung herself onto Logan's back. She held on tightly, throwing one arm around his neck, holding on as tightly as she could. Adrenaline flushed through her body, making her grip tightened. "Do not," she hissed, howling loudly into his ear, nails digging into his icy skin, "put your hands on me again."

Charlotte blinked, setting her coffee/blood on the counter. "Yes," she said, frowning. A sudden howl made her jump. "Severin," she said, glancing at the open window. "Was that a werewolf howl, or, like, a normal wolf howl?" She raised one eyebrow.

Logan snarled, reaching his hands out behind him and clamping them onto Rosa. He brung his arms forward, projecting the werewolf off of his back.

"Damnit Logan, leave her alone for now. I'll get you for that later." Damon growled, glaring at Josh. "You didn't do anything? You're on Salvatore territory that has been marked before you were born, and you refuse to respect."
