Severin's eyes widened. Before a car could hit him, he stepped forward and grabbed at Jason's arm, pulling him to himself. He pushed him away quickly, towards a wall, and ignored the people around them, who were, for some reason, clapping. The scent was so weird, and it smelled similar to...his own? He stepped back, brow furrowed. Not even then did he realize that he'd dropped the scotch he'd been carrying. Now, it was all over the sidewalk, along with shattered gl*censored*.

"Um, be more careful." he said, looking away.

Destery blinked. The all-too familiar scent of a vampire. Maybe hostile? It's not like he could tell from the vampire's scent. He turned around, walking over to where he thought the scent was coming from. The vampire wasn't there anymore. So, he sighed, wandering away. If they didn't bother him, he wasn't gonna bother them. Unless, of course, he randomly found them. Which he did. But, instead of saying anything, he bit his lip, ignoring them.

(I know, but I'm just saying if he walks around in human form looking like the joker..

well, I'd just have to scream and run D: )

Josh automatically bristled, his territorial senses sweeping over him. Destery was vampire; he could tell from his scent. (what the hell do vampires smell like? Dust and bat poo?)He narrowed his eyes at him and took a step forwards. "Can I help you," he growled, lips curling into an icy smirk.

Jason's cheeks flushed a deep red, and he also looked away. "Thanks," he muttered, only able to stare at his feet. "Thanks a lot, mister. What's your name?" He lifted his eyes, cautious not to make any sudden or aggressive movements. "My name is Jason."

Charlotte stared out the window in shock, watching the scene happening not fifty feet away from the store windows. She promptly ignored the humans clapping at the scene, and continued watching the two werewolves in disgust and interest.

Damon watched from up above, lounging in the deep and dark shadows atop a canopy tree. The fighting amused him, like toddlers meddling over a toy.

Rosa sat bolt upright, ears pricked to listen to even the slightest sound. There was nothing in the warehouse apparently; not even a mouse was moving in the dim lighting. She stiffled a yawn, standing up so she could pull open the blinds.

"Bright out already," She mumbled, pulling on a clean shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. Her eyes scanned the building for her weathered hightops. "Better get going." She finally found them under her cot, tugged them onto her feet and stepped into the harsh sunlight outside her makeshift home.

She started on her way towards the store.

Destery cocked his head. He was just walking by... It's not like he wanted to talk to Josh. But, oh, well. Not only did the stranger vampire decide to acknowledge him, but he was hot, too. "I was just p*censored*ing by," Destery answered, smirking right back. If he decided to be all mean and whatnot, he'd play. He loved to play. Except, they were surrounded by humans...

Mister? Did he look as old as his fake ID said? Or, at least, lied. Severin looked down, noticing the puddle of scotch near his feet, and he decided to ignore it. It didn't matter. "You're welcome," he muttered under his breath, looking back up. Something hit him, like a rock: The guy he'd just saved was a werewolf. No doubt about it. At least, that's what his werewolf-y instincts told him. He took a deep breath, saying, "My name is Severin."

(OHHOTDAMN. Did Destery just call Josh hot? ;O What a little... -chuckles- Was he just checking him out? ;P :P )

Jason nodded, furrowing his eyebrows as he started to think. "I figured," he muttered. "My dad taught me what makes someone a..." he nodded towards Severin. "one of us. You smell different, and your pupils are wider." He smirked. "You scared me earlier; your scent caught me by surprise."

Josh smirked, eyes flickering over Destery's body quickly. His face didn't show it, but he was studying him over top to bottom. Handsome, he said silently to himself. But is he smart? "What do you say we take this conversation to a place that's a little more..." he paused, grinning darkly. "Private." 

( But what do vampires smell like? :c Werewolves smell like dogs and the forest, but what do vampires smell like? 

EDIT: According to Wikianswers...

A dead or angry vampire might smell like garlic...an undead vampire would smell more like mildew, freshly dug earth, wood, blood, wine or incense. Possibly dead people depending on where he was last...  )

Severin furrowed his brow, confused. He figured his name was Severin? What? At the mention of his scent, he pursed his lips, wondering if he should tell Jason to shut the hell up. If people heard them talking, they'd be all curious and, sooner or later, they'd be in a lab, being prodded with metal instruments. He could just...small talk. Sort of. "Your father taught you?" he asked in a hushed voice, stepping out of the path of a p*censored*erby and stepping closer to Jason. "So you have a connection to another werewolf...?"

Destery cocked his head the other way. Somewhere private? Usually, he'd be find with the idea of being alone with an attractive male pretty appealing. But, this guy was a vampire. He might kill him if they were alone. "Promise not attack me?" he asked, grinning and holding up his pinky. "I won't if you don't."

( I'm gonna go draw and eat some greasy food. ono )

( I went to bed last night and I had to clean this morning. x3 Sorry. )

Jason's eyes went blank of all emotion for a moment. "My father is dead," he mumbled quietly, trying not to look into Severin's piercing gaze. "He died a few months before I made my first change. My mother has no clue what either of us are." He wrinkled up his nose. "So, I guess having a human mother would make me... not completely werewolf, right?"

Josh gave Destery a killer glare. "Pinky promises?" he said, chuckling low under his breath. "What are we in, first grade?" He nodded his head, eyes flickering for a moment. "I promise. Now put your finger down; you look like an idiot." He turned around gracefully on his heel and started to walk towards an alleyway. 

( I had to clean, too, Moo. xD My mother woke me up, like, four hours after I finally fell asleep to make me clean. )

Severin stared at Jason, silent. For one thing, he could tell Jason was averting his gaze. Was he really that intimidating? Second, he was asking a stupid question. "I suppose so," he answered, brushing his hair out of his face. "You could be half wolf-thing, half human. As for me, I have absolutely no idea where this werewolf thing came from," He sighed. "I know my mother and father are normal humans, but not normal people."

Destery rolled his eyes. Harsh. He just wanted to see if he was soft, and, as it turns out, he wasn't. It was true, he did act like an idiot sometimes, especially for a vampire who's been around longer than the United States. He followed Josh, having trouble keeping down the spring in his step. Whoever this guy was, he would be fun. That, he was sure of.

Josh glanced at Destery out of the corner of his eyes as he turned the corner to duck into an alleyway. "Do you have some sort of chemical imbalance?" He asked sharply, leaning against the dusty brick walls. "Because you are unnaturally perky and it's getting on my nerves." He smirked, waiting for Destery's answer. He's quite the charmer, he thought sarcastically.

"It's a mutation," Jason blurted out, glancing at Severin with a sheepish ex
pression. "I mean...my dad told me that werewolves are just people who were born with a mutation in their cells, which causes the abnormal hair growth, which leads to eventually changing forms." He blinked. "Or it can be p*censored*ed on through the genes."

Rosa skipped through the trees, stiffling another yawn as she rubbed sleepily at her eyes. "I never get enough sleep at night," she complained quietly to herself. Just as she broke the trees to exit the small forest and enter the park, she saw Damon. The smell of blood hit her like a punch in the stomach.

"Leech," she hissed, feeling adrenaline pump through her veins.
