Lucain sighed, taking another drink from the wine bottle. When he looked up again, his eyes had turned from icy blue to a cross between silver and green while his pupils were mere slits of what they had been before. A feral grin stretched over his face as he regarded the hunter. "I am known in this city as Lucian, human." he tilted his head slightly to the side, only heightening the feral effect he was nearly radiating now. "If you really want to continue with the horrible mistake of engaging me in battle, hunter, I suggest you attack now."

Lucian glanced at the girl, approval in his voice as he said, "The girl is smart, you should listen to her." He sighed, wanting to take another sip of wine but he found the bottle was empty. He glared at it for a moment. "Oh bother... If that will be all, I need to go get some more wine." The vampire started to walk away but paused, glancing at the girl again and saying, "You may want to relocate, little Fruit. My hungry kin are almost upon you." He had used the vampire term for those with Taelin's gene, the one that made her blood taste increadible. With a final smile and a warning glance at the hunter, Lucian walked away, vanishing into the shadows as the moon's light was momentarily extinguished by a p*censored*ing cloud. When the light returned, he was gone.

Ruka could see them now, the girl with the big wolf, and another human with a small dog, probably the hunter. A feral smile stretched over Ruka's lips. He would have a good fight tonight, he loved eating hunters.

The wolf stopped as Taelin slid off and look him directly in the eye,"Why do you help me?" She stared into his eyes a long moment before realizing he was trying to tell her something and take ehr to someone... but who?"Take me there." she murmered.

Taelin stood before a figure."Who are you?" she asked, why'd this wolf bring her to ,yet, another vampire?

Josh looked up"Ah, greetings sister."

Taelin was puzzled and thought a moment,"Josh?"

He nodded."I will be taking over watching after you now." He simply picked her up and said,"But first i want to go to the town so for now you'll be taken to the field and shadow will watch you."

Taelin knew of their genetic flaw as humans but didn't he get that need for it? Probably not...She was taken to the gr*censored* field witch was a good 3 feet taller than her.

Kyla Warrith, the legendary and only human to never age or live in their thousands of years...

It is said she was born to live by the sword and even said she dispatched Dracula in a heartbeat, too bad he bit her first...She was what you could call a pure blood at oen time until she took to seeking the Healing Cliffs. The place the scorching sun lapped at the cool earth, she almost died from it... though she will never be a vampire she still has teh apparent fangs and immortality as well as authority...

Kyla,who also still bore the genetic flaw like Taelin, entered the city. The group closest to her cowered while a group of one lunged at her, she simply broke his neck with ease, as if it were a simple twig."They are getting quite flimsy aren't they?" She smiled and allowed her fangs to show, they were longer than most vampries had anyway... hers were almost 3 inches...

The entire town gasped and ran to hide, cowering in fear....Kyla was the immortal Fruit.... but her strength and power that radiated from her warded others off....She simply chuckled at this..."Leeches," she muttered.

 Lucian had retreated back to his penthouse to mull thinks over another bottle of wine, not as good as the one before though. That girl, the Immortal Fruit escorted by a rather powerful werewolf, was an interesting case indeed. Unlike younger vampires, Lucian could resist the powerful urge to suck her dry, though he still felt the desire to drink her blood. As he watched the city rooftops from his window, he contemplated the girl's future. She would never be safe in this world of vampires, forever chased, forever desired; how would she cope with her situation? He drained his glas.s just as a tremor disturbed the air around him. His gaze shifted to the other side of the city, where a small town was nestled. "Hmmm...." He hummed into the gla.ss, his lips resting on the rim and his elongated fangs lightly touching the bell. "That felt like a veeeery old one, maybe even older than me." He called out into the darkness, "Tamlin, go see who is paying my regime a visit." A silver-eyed servant appeared as if from nothing, simply nodding before vanishing again.

Kyla sighed, night was still her battleground but unfortunately the sun still irritated ehr skin, though she could withstand it. She found some of teh names she was given quite amusing such as, "Day walker, Reaper," and even "Death." Kyla was looking for the girl they had encountered earlier as well... that girl was possibly one of her decendants and she would keep her vampire free for as long as the girl lived.

Joshua decided that he better keep himself under control, though he had no need what so ever for blood eh coudl drink it or eat normal human food, he was neither human nor vampire, but an undiscovered species...

Taelin stroked Shadows dark thick fur. He growled and smelled someone in the area and he didn't like it...

Tamlin found the newcomer quickly enough and emerged from a patch of shadows near her. He bowed and said, "My master, Lucian, greets you and asks to meet with you, milady Kyla."

He lifted his head, silver eyes flashing as he added, "He has been expecting you."

Tamlin smiled a well, only for an instant though, revealing an entire row of teeth sharpened to fine points. His pearly whites quickly vanished once more behind thin lips even as he said,

"I a.ssure you, I am no 'leech'. And we know you are here for the Immortal Fruit that has recently appeared on the vampire radars. My master has similiar interests and 'asks' that you grant him an audience with yourself." He placed specific emphasis on the 'ask' portion of that statement, hinting at a hidden threat underlying the required formalities. Even if he wasn't quite as old as Kyla, Lucian still had significant power, both physical and political.
