Gauche hissed in surprise at the Darkrai. He still wasn't entirely used to seeing legendaries, especially ones that just come out of the blue. Sam tapping on his shoulder caught his attention and he turned his head to look at him curiously.
Sam shook his head before looking back at the legendary. "Hello." he said. "Are you one of the Legendaries that are pairing up with humans?"

Sam sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. He really didn't like the idea of going off to meet other trainers that he was supposed to work with, but Lugia had chosen him for a reason so he knew he'd have to say "yes". "Lead the way." he said simply.
