So I'm looking to either start or join a very new roleplay with a small group of literate people. I love lots of types of roleplaying, but I will not do Warriors or Twilight, because I haven't read the books and really didn't like the books respectively. I'm a big fan of Medieval Fantasy roleplays though. Because I'm new and nobody knows me, I'll tell you a little about myself. I am usually very literate and I try to make my characters well-rounded and not Mary-Sueish. I don't like roleplaying with really big groups or on roleplays that move very fast. I don't like to argue with my fellow roleplayers, so I'm generally nice enough. I won't participate in roleplays that revolve totally around violence or romance though, because they get boring. So.... any ideas or existng roleplays? =)

((Group of people find clutch of mysterious eggs, hatch them, and find strange creatures? Possibly ones that help them overthrow evil king/save world/defeat evil hordes/etc?))

((Okay, let's expand on this idea. Should they feel a pull towards the eggs, stumble on them, be given them by a mysterious stranger? What are inside the eggs? What do they do once they've hatched? Modern, medieval, or a totaly different world? Post-apocalypse perhaps? What are the creatures called? Who controls the creatures in the RP? Should they be real animals, existing mythological animals or totally made up? So many questions. 0.0))

Soooo.... Evil king is being unfair on everyone, pillaging, ignoring the needs of the poor for the wants of the rich, etc. Several random people are somehow delivered mystyrious eggs and told to meet at a certain place at a certain time. They do, and the eggs hatch, revealing creatures from an age long forgotten. They are all dragon-y, but some are more like chinese dragons, some like european, and they all have different power-type things. (Maybe for a short while after they're hatched, you or I could control the creatures so the other participants don't overpower their creatures or make them all the same?) Once the creatres and the humans have bonded, they uncover a sinister plot by the king, who has heard of these creatures, to steal or corrupt them. Some want to hide, some want to fight, but they'll all eventually work out a plan to save their creatures and make the world a better place. You like? The details are still sketchy, but we can work those out.

Good idea. Do you mind if I dream up of the dragons and temporarily control them to make sure that they're all unique? It would get boring if everyone had a green european-style dragon with a sunny disposition and friendly nature. I'll start typing up a full plot introduction now, it might take a little while, but I'll post a link here when it's done. =)
