Her parents are naomi and peter took. (Naomi's maiden name being brandybuck.)

Eclipse looked up at the dark sky, the rain had been hard and had flooded much of the kingdom. She would have to work more.. She sighed at the prospect of work. She had done it her whole life, she admitted to herself, tired of it all.

She sat on the ground, her rag cloths barley covering her legs, she was cold and depressed at all the houses that had to be prepared. Her foster house had sent her to work when she was five and she had been her since then. Her dark hair was a mess and her hands where hard with the work she had done over the years. Eclipse looked at the castle miles above her, things have changed since the days she lived there. She had been 8 when she had gotten lost. She had wondered into a river and had been swiped away. She had told the guards at the castle, anyone who would listen to her, but no one would listen. She was always blamed at daydreaming, but who doesn't in her free time? There was no other food than bread and some sort of grul, in which they could only have one meal of. Rivendell was said to be the city of hope, but the houses don't build themselves. The way things where for other peasants was.... sad, small, terrible. There was no hope here, only hunger and sadness.

One of the daughters of a court-man walked past. That was the life, pretty dresses, food, everything.... Eclipse sighed at the prospect of a full stomach.

The girl saw her looking and did some sort of.... snicker. Forget Food, it was much better having a personality. One of the boys that worked with her whistled at the girl as she pasted. Eclipse rolled her eyes.

" Number 3, front and center!" Yelled the master. Eclipse was number 3. She walked over to the master, she slapped her, Eclipse crumpled to the ground.


FLASH BACK!!!

A girl ,around three, was playing with blocks as her mother looked by. The little girl spilled her blocks and started to cry. " Shhh... Its ok" The women chimed," You will be a princess of Rivendell , so you must learn to be strong." The women put girl down once she had stopped crying. The girls father walked into the room and picked up the girl." I can see that you are almost as big as your sister!"

ANOTHER FLASHBACK!


The girl, a little older know, sat with a boy on a tree. " Shout up Ethan!" she shouted at the boy. They both busted out laughing.

Alex sighed as she spilled the flour. Why did she ALWAYS do that? She looked up and as she did, she got another one of those strange flashbacks she always got. It was of when her parents were taken away. Her vision blurred as she remembered those tears of heartache. She didn't know what was happening. Finally the flashback disappeared, and for one of those seldom-felt moments, she didn't feel like cooking anymore. She slumped to the floor and wondered, once again, what her destiny was, or if she would allow herself to say, her fate. What lay in the path of life for her, and where were her parents? Would she ever see them again? Tears blurred her vision and she lay down, still wondering.
