"Why bother," Josh answered dryly, "Might as well have my fun. They're going to kill me, and I plan to let them." He sat down and waited patiently while the mundanes started to get closer.

Josh stood beside her, black eye's flashing angrily. He hissed over his shoulder at her, "Go away.  Stop chasing them away. It's good for everyone. Especially the mundanes. I'm a lost cause, and I destroy everything I touch." His eyes flashed back to the mundanes. He snarled and leaped at a young boy.

 He pinned the human under him, and in one smooth movement tore the heart out of his chest. he clamped it in his jaws, spraying blood on everyone. Then one of the mundanes stabbed him between the ribs with a silver knife. 

 The silver burned his flesh, and he knew death was soon. No werewolf, or ever part werewolf, could live through silver. Well, they could, but it was rare.

josh gasped ans staggered, but held his ground. He snarled at Lydia with more force than he had snarled at the mundanes, "GO AWAY. I DON'T WANT YOU HERE! NOBODY DOES!"

He lunged at another human, teeth clamping around it's leg. It spun around, and ramming something into the front of Josh's neck. It pierced his windpipe, and black blood like oil dripped from around the handle of it.

It was a silver knife.

Josh toppled over on his side, body twitching in short spasms. Then he lay still.

Josh twitched, oil-black blood spilling out of his open jaws. Every ragged breath he took in, the silver knife was jammed deeping into his throat. The cut in his side stung, but the knife had been dislodged.

He lay there, silent and calm. And then he nearly had a heart attack when he opened his eyes and he was human. 

Josh gripped the slippery handle of the knife and ripped it out of his throat. He twitch his ears and tail, and waited to bleed to death. If he even could. He didn't know.

Blood spilled out of his throat at an alarming rate, but he could care less. He sat up quietly, going through his pockets to see if he had any spare change or something.
