Alpha smiled at Rika, and helped her bring her books to cl*censored*. "I'd love to talk, but I gotta run..." He said, looking at the generic clock in the hallway. He sped out before she could answer.
He ran into the gym room, making it seconds after the bell rung. The teachers gave him a sheepish grin. He knew no one would give him a tardy.
His eyes turned to see Veloura, a regular member of his pack, and Jasike exchanging weak smiles. He chuckled to himself, and thought to Jasike.
Hehe. Did someone find a she-wolf? I told ya so.
He looked over at Karienne. She was actually really cute, with her caramel skin and adorable eyes. And she had no clue how he felt.
He jogged over to Karrienne, his heart pounding so loud you'd be able to hear it. He flopped his hood over his head, convinced he had turned part-wolf.
"Hey Kare. Mind if I call you Kare-bear?" Alpha laughed warmheartedly, the way friends joke at each other.

Rose just finished dressing out. She had gym hour first. Her eyes were a sad midnight blue. Her only non-vampire friend, her cat, had gotten hit by a car. It didn't help that she syphoned the blood out of the one who killed the cat. That's how she was. She hadn't eaten human blood for at least five years, and she only did in sadness and anger. It was like how some girls eat chocolate and high-carb foods when they are depressed. She smelled her clothes, and they smelled like rose petals and tears. No remnants of blood. Most vampires smelled like blood and ashes to a professionally-trained nose. But since it was so rare for her to drink blood, she smelled wierd. The werewolves would probably get a kick out of it. Werewolves were so beautiful, even in their human forms.
She silently stashed her latest poem gently into her poem binder, as she pretended to not be offended by the girls' silent whispers as she entered the gym. "Goth freak" was the kindest name they dubbed. It was true, she was wearing black. But only because she was sad. True, her skirt was way too short for the gym requirements. But the teachers were too afraid of her to bother her with it. She gave herself a second look. Black tank top with a skirt short enough to almost be underwear. Black tights. Black stilettos. Maybe she was a bit unusual. But she had tights on. No one could see anything. She had thick black eyeliner and designer mascara. She had a black designer button-up three-quarter sleeve jacket on, unbuttoned. She had a small white bow in her hair. She didn't think of herself as pretty, and she thought that the only way for her to be pretty was to dress up pretty. But not trying to be, uh! She couldn't even think it.
She took a seat on the bleachers and prepared for people to stare. They always stared at the school's offical freak. Why did they look at her like that? It hurt her feelings immensely. She could feel the stares already.

Alpha looked at the new girl. She was pretty, thin, and curvy. By the clothes she wore, she was wealthy. And didn't mind showing herself off. No problem for Alpha. She was like a life-size barbie doll, goth style. She wore what he expected to be an expensive perfume- roses and tears? He smelled more heavily, intrigued by this unfamiliar scent. But he detected something unexpected under the veil of the beautiful smell- blood and ashes. He was shocked. This beautiful teenager was a vampire? He couldn't believe it. He was sure Karrienne would have picked it up.
"What do you think of the new girl, er, vampire?" He whispered quietly. "No way she drinks only human blood."

Rose heard indistinct whispers, and kept her head bowed. She blushed lightly, because she looked up slightly to see the whispering creatures were unmistakable werewolves. One had caramel skin and beautiful eyes. She was skinny and curvy, much like herself. Then there was the boy. He had handsome chesnut hair and a puppy dog face, also with caramel skin. It was obvious he was the Alpha, and had a crush on this member of his pack. But it was not her business. She chuckled slightly. Love works in mysterious ways.
