Reila walked in through the doors and looked around her. So many people, so many oppertunities to strike up conversation...and yet, she chose not to. She really wasn;t the type to start conversation, she really wasn't that good with strangers. So she walked a few steps in silence, looking around for somewhere to sit. She knew she was late, and in her hurry, she found herself sitting next to a group of people she had never met before. She glanced over to the nearest, but didn't say anything, not really having the confidence to speak. Instead she just tightened her grip on her sketchbook and looked at the teacher who was speaking on the platform.
Reila knew she could make friends here, if she tried. But she was just not good at starting conversation. She was a really sweet girl if one got to know her, but in the mean time she wasn't confident enough to speak. Still listening to the speaking teacher, Reila opened her sketchbook to the first page, upon which was a remarkably detailed sketch of a rose. Reila stared at this for a moment, not sure whether or not to speak to the ones she was sitting near or not.
(( Also, I corrected something on Reila's bio...she's 16, not 15. I meant to put 16 before but accidentally hit the 'five' key instead of the 'six'...^_^))

It seemed like right after one girl left another sat down. Kenny gave her a small smile when he noticed she was probably just as nervous has him. He saw the sketch of a rose and tapped her shoulder. "Thats really good." He said admiring the picture.
The teacher on the stage started talking about student council. Kenny really wanted to be apart of something in high school since he had always been a "nobody".
"All who would like to join the student council raise you hand." The teacher loudly said.
Kenny hesitated but raised his hand. He looked around and no one else had rose their hand yet. It hurt him to hear a few people snickering.

Reila heard the words about the student council,. and the boy who had appreciated her picture raised his hand. Reila looked around, and noting that nobody else had done so, she shrugged a little and closed her book. She heard a few people snickering and, perhaps to the surprise of the people who were laughing, she turned round with such a fierce glare that they fell into complete silence.
"Laugh at that guy again, and I swear you'll regret it." she said, in a dangerously quiet tone. Then she blushed a little, embarassed, and returned to her shy state. She turned back to the teacher and raised her own hand.
"Alright then, count me in too." she said, though she didn;t sound entirely confident.

When Kenny heard the girl fight back for him and then also raise her hand he smiled and looked to the ground. "Thank you." he said quietly. He looked to the girl and smiled again.
"My name is Kenny." He extended his hand towards her.

Spirit started to raise her hand but stopped and started again. She was unsure if she should, but she in Beata, and gifted... She crookedly and shyly smiled to herself and let out a small sigh. She knew this would be a bad year, even if this was the first year of high school...

Reila smiled, half politely, half shyly. she accepted the boy's hand and shook it warmly.
"Kenny? That's a nice name. I'm Reila, Reila Tenebris." she said, still sounding a little shaky, as though she were not normally good at conversation. She looked around to see if any other students would put up their hands, and saw only one other did. Reila felt a little disappointed at this, but she still felt good from teaching those students who had been laughing at Kenny a little lesson.

I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Gary hesitated before raising his hand. Chris looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
" You really wanna do this? "
Chris asked crossing his arms. Gary nodded slowly. Chris let out a sigh of despair and raised his hand also.
" Guess I'm doing it too then ... "
He said with a half smile. Gary let out a sigh.
" Great ... "
Gary muttered thinking about all the trouble him and Chris had gotten into back in middle school.

Kenny was now very happy. He knew he wasn't alone now.
After the assembly ended, Kenny headed to the student council room. Only to find an empty room with a few desks. He wondered around looking at every inch of the room. Until he ran into a closet. When he opened it he found a pink stuffed animal. It was a bunny. Kenny had to let out a little laugh before he picked it up.
"Did some one leave you here?" He smiled and held it up, hoping none was watching.

She smiled and walked towards him. "It's okay.. I- uh.. I have a few stuffed animals in my room at home, they lie on my Hammock..." she said, and she started blushing. "I get them out and talk to them sometime's..." she mumbled. She was quiet unsure if she should have gave one of her most top secret's ever... "Will you promise not to tell anyone?" she asked.

"I promise." He smiled
Kenny sat on one of the desks still holding the bunny. "Its kinda nice in here, you know?" he said, his eyes wondering the room. "We should bring some thing to put in here. It feels a little too empty." he said. Kenny still couldn't believe he was apart of the student council. They would have control over a lot of things.
"Its only our fist day and i'm already starting to like it." He smiled cutely, holding the stuffed animal closer to him.

She smiled and nodded in agreement. "I agree, what about.. Urm.. What about a little pet?" she said with a little chuckle. She was supprised she was already in a better mood. "First day for me isn't going so well...."
