Reila looked over to Kenny, listening as he spoke. When he finished, she found herself giving a small smile in response. She raised one hand and flicked at a lock of her hair that had come loose. Then she looked back at Kenny.
"Mind if I come, too?" she asked, a little hesitantly, still a little shy.
"Sure!" Kenny smiled. He still had the little stuffed animal in his arms. He put it in his back pack and set it in the student council room. "You coming?" He asked and stepped out of the room.
Reila waited until Kenny was ready and then nodded in response. She had decided to trust Kenny, which meant a lot for Reila because she hardly ever trusted anyone because of her shyness. Her smile became less of a shy one, more of a polite and friendly one. She blinked once and let her grip on her precious sketchbook loosen a little, though she still held it to her chest.
"Yes, I'm coming." she replied. "Anywhere you wanted to go first?"
Kenny walked through the hallway with Chris and Reila. " I was thinking of visiting the gym." he said thinking about basketball. He thought that because of his height he wouldn't be able to join. Kenny was actually good at it though.
Kenny laughed and walked a little faster than Chris. He suddenly felt something trip him. After he hit the floor Kenny heard a few boys snickering. He looked up at them after sitting up and the taller one pushed him back down.
"Opps." one said. "Didn't see you there." the taller one smirked.
"I-it's ok..." Kenny said. "It was my fault." he apologized. "Damn right." they said and walked away snickering. Kenny felt almost in tears.
