Raithe decided to intervene, "I can heal her...somehwat," she offered quietly. She didn't do this often, in fact, this was the first time she would heal soeone other than herself. "If...if you want me to," she asked the pup.

Ai gave Kohanu a cold look as she continued to gently stroke the pup's fur. "My name's Ai, and this is my friend, Solomon. What's your name, little one?" she asked. Solomon sat there, ears twitching as he watched Ai. That had to be the most gentle he had ever, ever seen her act towards anyone.

"Well, Calyx, we're going to do everything we can to make sure your parents can come get you, okay?" Ai said, lifting Calyx from her lap and into her arms, humming softly to the injured pup. Solomon bristled slightly. "You don't know for a fact she's going to die!" he barked, ears flattened as his...mental instability kicked in. |

"like i said ive seen this before... i dont know for a fact she will die but the chances she will survive and VERY low." she growled. Calyx smiled and said"thank you" before closing her eyes and going to sleep. " half of her bodys burnt she can barely more and her lungs are full with smoke ... do you REALLY think she will live?"

Solomon stood, easily towering over the female. "There's always a chance! You need to think positive and have hope in this pup!" he snarled, ears pinned back as his fur bristled visibly. "Solomon," Ai said firmly, "she's not worth the trouble." |

Raithe sighed, "This may be the frst time I've healed somone other than myself but she won't die," she growled, laying down nect to Calyx. raithe touched the pup's gflank with her nose and felt the power of air stream out of her body, flwoing into the pup's.

Ai continued to gently pet the pup's fur, watching Raithe as she began to heal Calyx. She smiled when she heard the pup wasn't going to die. Solomon relaxed himself, sighing softly as he stared at Kohanu rather angrily.

Raithe stood up stiffly, shakig her head. "Augh, that's going to leave some serious marks on my power," she groaned, shifting and fashioning some clothes so quickly no one had the chance to see her nude.

" now what do we do?" asked KOhaku. " you cant just..keep her.." he added. Calyxs eyes fluttered open. she was still soar but the smoke was out of her lungs she felt better and she could walk.

"I will take care of her until her parents or someone else comes to claim her," Ai stated before shifting into her wolf form, taking a moment to shake out her silvery fur before gently nudging Calyx with her muzzle. "Would you like me to take care of you until someone comes for you, Calyx?" she asked, tilting her head.

Ai smiled, lowering her head to rub Calyx's belly with her nose playfully, her maternal instincts having kicked in the moment she saw the pup all alone. Solomon smiled, watching her. "Heh. Usually she's mean, but now she's acting like a pup again..." he said, ears twitching. |
