Elisa shifted position a litle. The dinner-plate-sized spider that had crawled onto her shoulder did not move, however. Elisa was afraid of the insect but did not make an effort to move it. She thought that if she did, then the creature would become angry and bite her.
"Can't you get off me?" the 14 year old girl asked the spider, though she knew it couldn't reply. It lifted a leg, almost lazily.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
"Leo, you jerk! You scared the life out of me!" Caz yelled at her best friend, hitting his chest as hard as she could, and, let's be honest here, it wasn't that hard of a hit. "Don't grab my sides. It tickles." She glowered at the smiling guy in front of her. Damn males.
"Wait. Do you hear that?" Just as Leo was about to respond, Caz cut him off. "It's horses. Who rides out here anyways?" She paused, shook her head and walked towards the sound of the hooves. They were picking up pace, but if they came close, she could easily avoid them. Perks of being what she was, she guessed.
"Come on, Leo. Check it out with me."
Leo looked at the girl then sighed. She always got what she wanted. "Fine, Caz. You jerk. I'll go." He said with a mock glare, but a moment later, he was smiling and following the girl through the trees towards the noise. |

Spirit clicked her toung on the top of her mouth and pulled back on the reins. Ghost slowed his pace to a slow walk. Ghost all the sudded stoped and Spirit mounted off of him. "I'll be right back" she announced to Ghost and Sakura. Spirit walked over to a small log and picked up a bear claw with a smile. She smiled and walked back "This is a claw from a bear I killed with my father befor he died. I keep it their, cuz when me and Ghost come up here it reminds me of him. We was really close..."

"You killed a bear?!" Leo's voice was full of disbelief. He walked out of the trees, Caz behind him, towards Spirit, and Sakura. He was looking at Spirit like she was insane? A mountain lion, he could see, but a bear? And she was so tiny! And cute. Especially cute. But mostly tiny.
"Sorry for intruding like that," Leo added, probably thinking how weird this looks like to the girls. Him, his practically-sister, eavesdropping on their conversation, even though he didn't mean to. That, and his panther side gives him exceptional hearing when he's in his human form.

She patted Ghost and sliped the bear claw into the saddle bag and ited to rope around the small closing hook. "And, it's okay. People always intrude in my conversations..." she sighed. She crawled onto Ghost and patted the side of his neck. She tried to keep herself from blushing and bursting out into laughfter. She kept calm as she was the back of her horse. Leo's eyes grew wide at the mention of the snake. His panther side screamed danger; his human side thought it was cool. "You have a python? Just chilling at your house?" Call him a skeptic, but Leo did not believe it. Granted, he would have liked to believe it. But, seeing is believing...
"And sorry about that again," Leo apologized for interrupting again. He meant his apology too; he wasn't the type to say something and not completely mean it. "It's not fair that people always intrude on you. You shouldn't be used to it, that's not cool." He gave her a soft grin at the end.

"His name is Siberian, he's mostly white." she said and Ghost interuped with a snort. Spirit sighed and hit his sholder. "Again, it's okay." she said. Ghost steped forward a few times, telling her Lets go, this bear claw is hurting my side. Spirit pulled back on the reins and gave him a cold glance one Ghost looked back at her. "Knock it off Ghost." Spirit muttered. "I had to live with an anoying brother and sister, so. That's why I'm use to it. Also, when I use to live in the city, that ot me even more use to it." she said with a sigh. A little smile appeared onto her face as she fnished off the sectance.

"I'd love to see it," Leo replied to her offer with a grin. He looked back at Caz, who waved him forward. A 'go-get-her-I'll-do-my-own-thing' type of wave that Leo was used to. Okay, not used to. Hell, he rarely even saw it, to tell the truth. Apparently, Caz approved, somewhat. That was a good sign.
Leo took a step towards Ghost, careful not to get too close to the agitated horse. He was wary of such creatures, ever since he was bucked off of one when he was 11. He hadn't been on one since then. "Do you live close by?"

She wached him step a bit closer to Ghost and Ghost's ears flinched and he turned his gaze to Leo. "Scared of horses much?" she said with a smile. "Ghost wont hurt, as long as he knows your my friend." she smirked. Ghost snorted and look at Spirit. "It's okay Ghost, he's okay." she said to him and patted his side. "I'm terrified of horses," Leo corrected her, emphasizing how much he didn't like them. No, he liked them, he just didn't trust him. He looked up at Ghost with a level gaze, wondering how dangerous, or safe, it would be to ride the thing.
A ride? Oh that? Leo glanced up at Spirit before looking back to Ghost again. "Is it safe?" He asked her timidly. What a stupid question. She wouldn't be offering him a ride if it were unsafe for him. "Are you sure? Because if you are," Leo swallowed his fear and flashed Spirit a wide grin, "I'd love to get a ride." |

Elisa decided to take matters into her own hands...quite literally. She decided to pick the Golden Orb Weaver Spider up and put it on a tree or something. Sure, she was probably going to get bitten, but Elisa had suffered harsher pains in her life.
"Here goes nothing..." Elisa muttered. She lifted a hand up to her shoulder as carefully as she could and nudged the spider. The huge arachnid barely reacted, so Elisa nudged it again. The Golden Orb Weaver lifted a spindly forelimb and tapped at Elisa's hand before crawling onto it. Elisa was then left with the prblem of what to do with the arachnid. She placed her hand on the bark of the tree and the spider moved...further up Elisa's arm.
By now Almasi had spotted Elisa, and was laughing at the girl's efforts to remove the spider from her arm.
"Pathetic little child..." Almasi muttered to herself. "Scrawny little waste of space..." It must have been odd. A WereElephant, being so thin and scrawny...and afraid of spiders...

Spirit smiled "You rellize I'm gonna' have to ride on here too." she said. patted Ghost's side and rested her hand back onto the reins. Ghost looked at him, knowing that, Leo really didn't trust him by the way he acted. "And, urm.. I'm Spirit, this is Ghost." Spirit said with a smile. Ghost snorted and stomped the ground. The bloody sholdered arabian was geting anxsouios {Sorry, I'm a bad spelled at times.. -_-} to leave.

Leo shook Sakura's hand and glanced back at her horse, Twi. It seemed nice enough, but you never knew with those things. He removed his hand from hers then looked back at Spirit. It was an odd name, he supposed, to name your child. Perhaps it was her nickname? He'd ask her about it later, perhaps while they were riding.
"My name is Leonardo, but everyone calls me Leo," He said after a moment, looking between the two girls. His eyes flashed to Spirit for a split second. "I'm fine with double riding if you are." He said nonchalantly with a shrug of his shoulders. |
