Mantalk wandered down the hallway, grabbing his suitcase as he went, his pet snake Lithium already curled up near the top. That news had come crashing down on him like a ton of bricks. A vampire? How the hell did that happen? He thought you had to be bitten to become a vampire. Frowning, he shrugged, devoured his toast, drank his orange juice and headed to the front door. Hopefully he'd fit in with all the other... vampires, he thought, heading for the bus stop just outside his home.

Allysonyanka sat at the foster care table. No one noticed her. No one ever did. Sighing, she finished her cereal, stroking Slink, her white lizard, who was sat on her shoulder. She grabbed her huge rucksack, trying her bet to make herself look inconspicuous, bringing even more attention onto herself. She would be leaving earlier today. She had gotten the letter, and was worried. Did this mean she had to kill people? She hoped not. Sliding out the front door and heading to the bus-stop, she thought about it. It might explain why, instead of going out to play with her friends, she stayed indoors and read books, but she thought that was mostly her solitary preferences. She sighed and shook her head realizing she'd been in such a rush she hadn't plaited her hair. Oh well.

Shay was just finishing up her packing.  Two full-to-the-brim rolling luggage cases for one girl.  And a dog.  And a cat.  But mostly the girl.  "SHAYYYY!" her dad bellowed from the living room.  Willow was probably going about him.  Her father never was quite keen on the idea of pets unless they lived outside and had noting to do with him.  Zipping up the luggage, Johnny leapt down from his position on her bed to follow her.

"Yes, Dad?"  Shay asked, even though she knew the problem.  Willow was curled up beside her father.  She purred when Shay got into her sight.  Stretching out, the darkly colored cat walked over to her owner.  Shay patted Willow, then saw her mother coming out of her room with the luggage rolling behind her.  "Oh, mom, don't do that for me.  I'll get it," the girl said and took the luggage and parked them neatly by the door.  "Don't forget your backpack," her mother reminded and set it down beside the door also. 

"I haven't forgotten, mom.  Don't worry," Shay assured her.  The backpack was an Elephant backpack, and it was accurately named.  It could hold a LOT of stuff.  That was the purpose it served, of course.  Some on-hand necessities were packed inside, including things for Shay and for her two pets.  Johnny let out a small 'woof' and sat by the door.  Checking the time, she noticed that the bus would be coming soon. 

"Thanks, Johnny," she spoke softly to the dog.  Petting him, he politely moved so the door could be opened.  Good-byes and hugs and kisses were shared between her mother, father, and Shay, and then she proceeded to go wait outside for the bus's arrival.

Ryku only had a large-sized rolling luggage case and that as all.  It didn't weigh as much as it looked, either.  Sighing, he didn't really mind the fact of being a vampire.  I mean, if you got to have powers and stuff, why not?  Yeah, the part of drinking blood is a bit... off-sounding, but if it's what you have to do to survive then that's whats going to happen.  Plus, he would finally get the ultimate revenge on his archenemies..

"Croo," Shadoe cooed softly as she flew over onto Ryku's shoulder.  "Deet," he said to acknowledge her and as a sort of like 'Oh, you little bird!'.  But of course he only says 'Deet'.  Shadoe's nicknames' origins were a mystery to pretty much everybody.  But that was alright.  Not everybody needed to know everything about Ryku.  If they did, he'd never live himself down.  Hearing somebody open the door, the boy decided to go outside and wait for the bus.

Quietly and without any words, Ryku proceeded to roll his luggage out the door and prop it up by the sidewalk.  He stood beside it.  Shadoe elegantly flew out and landed on his luggage.  A pretty good spot for her, Ryku noticed.

Forra looked down the street. She could see the bus and she was happy it wasn't yellow. "Yes." She muttered to her self. "Ready?" She asked. Triston groaned then said, "Yes, I'm ready to go to a school full of blood suckers..." Forra turned around, giving her brother an evil glare, then said. "I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to-" Triston interrupted saying, "Yourself." Forra was about to make a come back when she heard the bus doors open behind her. "Uh... Never mind." She grabbed her bags and walked up the stairs into the bus.

Forra spotted two other people on the bus, a girl and a guy, most likely siblings. She walked to the back of the bus, Triston followed her. They placed their things above their seats and sat down. Triston sat on the other side of the bus though. But it was right across from her. "Clingy." Forra muttered. She wasn't mad at Triston really. Forra hadn't seen this side of him in a long time, he was scared.

Triston looked around the bus. The other two had a dog and a bird. He glanced over at Forra who was giving him a some what concerned look. "What!" He growled. Forra glared at him and said, "Nothing you twit." They looked away from each other and sat there as the bus took off to who knows where.

Shay looked up quickly as the bus pulled up.  It was, suprisingly, non-yellow.  Come on, yellow buses are iconic!  Plus, she never really rode those yellow buses to school, but during field trips she definitely did.  Johnny was the first to enter of the three, immediately sniffing out everything.  Probably checking if it was safe for his master.  His tail wagged as the german shepherd patiently waited.  Willow, however, was nowhere to be seen.  Crap.  She was here a moment ago!

Shay couldn't stand here forever.  Either get on the bus or not.  Rolling her luggage, she hauled it up and sat on the second seat in the front on the left.  The two luggages were on the ground below her seat and below her feet, while Johnny got himself situated by laying down on the spot beside her.  The backpack was also beside her feet.  A question came up to the girl:  Why couldn't their luggage and bags be stowed away on the bus's storage compartment?  Maybe it didn't have one..

The doors to the bus closed, and Shay couldn't shake her thoughts off of Willow.  But then, the darkly-colored she-cat appeared from below the seat in front of her and she purred and curled up beside the dog.  What a little surprise-packed cat she was.

Ryku was next to get on the bus, and he didn't have any trouble with his stuff.  Sitting in the very very back, the spot where there was only a single seat, the luggage was placed beside him where the other psot would be and then that was it.  Shadoe rested herself on top of the seat Ryku was on, so she was right beside his head, pretty much.  If Ryku looked out of the corner of his eye, the bird would be in his sight.

So.  On the way to the school of vampires.

Great.

Mantalk was waiting. Finally, he saw a bus approach. It wasn't yellow. But what difference did that make? Why have a classic bus when where he was headed... wasn't exactly classic? He could hear Lithium smelling the air, giving a soft hiss as she did so. Getting on the bus, he he saw a german shephard. Deciding it would be best if Lithium were kept away, he slid to the seat opposite the girl and her dog, rather than next to them, and sat next to the window. Feeling bored already, he opened his suitcase a crack and let the snake slide out, stroking her scales with his hand as she did so.

Allysonyanka stopped at the bus stop and waited, giggling as Slink got himself caught in her hair, his wite scales matching her hair perfectly. She picked up her bag as she saw the bus approach, and when she boarded and saw a german shephard, her hand rose instinctively to protect Slink, covering him completely. Sighing, she decided to sit near the back, and ended up just in front of a boy and a bird. She hoped it wasn't the lizard-eating kind of bird. Sticking her luggage in the seat next to her, she sighed and stared out the window.
