Max muttered something inaudible and chuckled. "Of course you can, and no, I don't think you're a freak." Max picked up the girls jacket, noticing how blood soaked it was. She looked up to see that the girl's other clothes were like that, too. "Why don't I get you a change of clothes and we could get these washed off for you?" Max suggested. "My mum probably wouldn't be happy if there was blood all over her house." She laughed.

Molly flushed. "Oh! I'm sorry about that." She said apologetically. "I didn't realize how much I was bleeding. And that's probably a good idea." She sat back down, feeling somewhat safe for the first time since she had escaped.
Guess it wasn't such a bad idea after all. She thought, playing with a strand of her hair.
She waited in silence for Max to come back. How could she be so kind to me? She thought, feelin oddly guilty for all the trouble she had probably caused. She had seen the other guy, tall and thin, standing in the doorway with a tray of food. Now he was gone. I wonder, how many people live here?
Molly stood up slowly, then smiled as she didn't topple over. She unfolded her wings slightly, pleased when they didn't hurt too much, and made a few experimental flaps.

"We'll be there in a minute, Ig!" Max called to him. She walked back in with a pile of clothes. "When you're changed, just put your clothes in the hamper. I'll get to them after breakfast, unless you're in a hurry to leave..." Max said slowly.

Total had been wandering around the house, still in a bad mood about how he was treated. They treated him like, well, a dog! And he was much more than a dog. He knew that! He walked by the bathroom and spotted a strange winged girl. He cocked his head to the side, curious. "Hello. And who might you be?" He mentally shook his head, telling himself he had to pay more attention to the goings-on in his own house.

Max looked down at Total, fighting back the urge to kick him and tell him to shut up. She looked up at the winged girl and stepped in front of Total. "Please ignore our dog, he's kind of...weird. But, what is your name, anyway?"

Molly blinked at the small black dog, startled. "...I'm Molly." She said slowly. "I don't have a last name, though." She sat for a moment, thinking. She'd seen animals like that one before, but with other enhancements, not speech.
"And, I like your dog. In case you hadn't noticed, I'm a bit weird, too. Guess we're like eachother that way." She grinned, surprising herself, then turned to Max. "What's your name?" She asked both Max and Total.
The smell of food from somewhere beyond the door was enticing, and she felt her hunger return.

"I'm Max." Max said, then gestured to Total. "And he's Total, our odd, talking dog. There's also five more kids in the kitchen, once you get changed Total here can guide you there, can't you Total?" She looked down at the black Scottie dog.

Total straightened himself up, trying to look sophisticated. "My name, my dear, is Total. Canine-American. And not to be treated like some common house pet, mind you. It's a pleasure to meet you, Molly." He nodded to her, his form of a polite bow.

(Grrr...Posting again...) Total nodded toward Max. "Sure. I'll take her. You know, since now I'm the freaking butler around here..." He sighed, turning to Molly. "If you will follow me this way..." He said, pointing with his paw. |

Suddenly, a less-than-brilliant plan formed in Total's head. He quickly put it into action, dropping to the floor and screaming. "Ahhh!!!!!! My appendix!!!! Animal abuse! Help!! Angel, Max hit me! Max hit me! Help! My appendix is burst!!! THE AGONY!!!" He began twitching on the floor. (Skits...Appendix...Get it?) |

((Sorry!)) Fang glided downstairs at the commotion. Appearing suddenly next to Molly and Total, he glanced from one to the other, he mutterd "What the....? Another flying girl..? From teh institute?" almost inaudibly. "Who are you?" He asked her more directly.
Just make it green, blue, white, and swirly. :D

Max bent down and picked Total up. "Would you stop it, you little faker." She almost hissed. "I swear, I'm about to go put you in a kennel. Why don't you act like Magnolia?" She gestures to the other dog laying down quietly in the floor.
