James frowned, "She would have been killed." He said simply, looking at her. "And I say pal. All the time. Pal." He said, managing to say a word that was never used anymore three times in the same sentence.

"Yeaaa." She said flatly. " Aren't you just a bundle of sunshine." She groaned shifting her weight to one foot. "Just please don't do this to every human you come across. You can't save every human, and my dad would be forced to shut down the school and let us out on our own to deal with the wild vampires." Then she paused for a moment. "Which for me I wouldn't mind joining them, but my dad wont let me." She rolled her eyes.

((It was pretty Sue-ish, sorry.)) Naida glared at the vampiress, "Who are you?" She asked, slightly growling to hear such mean words come out of the girls mouth. "Actually, it doesn't matter." As a snarl rose in her throat and the water around her turned to ice, she turned back to the girl, starting to walk away, "If you were important, than you would be prettier." Naida turned and stalked away, having gotten revenge for James...

((n00b? Elaboration, Zombie?)) Xerxes Break trotted through the hall, trying to balance a tall stack of books on one arm, while desprately attemping to keep a pile of rolling pencils, paintbrushes, and other art supplies on top of the stack. When the vampire made it to the "Eating Hall," he slumped against the wall, sighing and moving a little to keep the books balanced. This school was undeniably creepy, and of course he had shown up late on the first day. Xerxes staggered to the nearest table, looking over his pile when he felt his pile was safe. His one eye went wide at the fact that there was already someone sitting there, and he ducked his head behind the books, saying softly, "I'm sorry. I didn't know this table was taken. Sighing slightly, Break accidentally brushed up against his stack of books, and a full ink well wobbled, wiggled, and fell directly onto the girl's book, soaking the slightly yellow pages with streams of blue-black, some ink splattering onto her and turning the tips of her red hair black. "Oh my- I'm so sorry!" Break gasped, his showing eye as big as a saucer as he got up and inspected the damage, before putting the tip of one pale finger on the edge of her book, muttering under his breath. As he drew his finger away, the ink followed in a thin line, back into the ink well. Smiling slightly, Break looked back at the book. As his eyes met it, the smile dropped off his face at the enitrely blank pages. "I'm so sorry!" He repeated, going back to hide behind his stack of books.

[[i call of them n00bs. D: Sock I think. best vampire ever. and man. Xerxes incarnation. cute. the world is about to implode!! and "prettier"? D: i hope Alex refrains from ripping Naida's head off.]] Lisha hadn't really minded that someone else decided to move into her table and somehow hadn't noticed her, and might have said something. If she could have. She was waving her hand in a gesture of dismissal, letting the man know that she didn't mind his intrusion, but stomped mid-wave as the ink splattered all over her. She sat in stunned silence, not that... well, she could be anything but be stunned and silent. Lisha exhaled slowly as she looked down at her book and her now soiled front. Stains were so hard to get out of that fabric... Again she made that motion, this time a bit more furtive, and went to stand up. And then she watched in amazement as the ink crawled back into its rightful place. A low hum of surprise escaped her throat and she sat back down, not yet noticing the state of her book. How did he learn to do that? Quite fascinating. She'd never seen it done before. In blank confusion she watched him hide, and finally looked down at her book. ". . ." Was all that could really be said on the matter. Well. So much for that. Lisha flipped a few pages over and was surprised to see that none of the pages had escaped his ink bending wrath. In mild irritation, she closed the book, and leaned over to peep at the boy hiding behind the books. She held her once-book in her hand, and tapped the ti tle twice. After a moments pause, she pointed at his stack of books.

James was surprised at Naida's brash words and then walking away. He whistled, looking at Alex from the side of his eyes. He half smiled and followed Naida with a shrug. "Hey, thats the queen you're talking to." James explained. "I'd watch what you say around her, her bite is much worse than her bark." He joked.

Xerxes poked his his head over the books, looking as she tapped the tilte of the book and then at his stack. Looking down with slight confusion, he smiled slightly, pushing the stack towrds her. "I'm sorry." Break said again, then adding, "I suppose I do owe you one, huh? M' names' Break, whats yours?" His black hair looked as if it needed a brush, sticking up every which way. The black-haired, blue-eyed boy scatched lightly below a leather patch covering his right eye, which seemed to be stitched deeply into his face, and the stitches were quite fresh, bright red and still weeping slightly. Break was wearing rather gothic clothes, with a pair of dark bondage jeans, a plain black shirt, and some kind of neck cover with pointless leather straps all over them. His showing eye was a very light blue-grey, like a sky on a bright and cloudy day. Although Break seemed kind of scared, his eye was still naturally lidded, giving him a slightly bored look at all times. Thick, dark eyelashes framed his one eye, as he tugged on one of the two earrings in his left ear. They made of thin silver wire, and he had a bar in the cartiledge of his other ear.

Lisha started going through his books, looking to see if he had a copy of the book she had. He didn't. She'd just read another one then-- but was hesitant, and decided she could do that later. Didn't want another book to get wiped. She stared at him, and raised her eyebrows. She really should have learned sign language at some point. But it would probably be useless in these situations anyway, she doubted the boy knew sign language.
She picked up her notebook. Her name was printed in large letters on the front. "Lis..." She managed to croak out, before trailing off in to a gurgle and wincing. She rubbed at her throat in irritation, though it did nothing to help. A nice cup of tea would soothe it, hopefully. Lisha was thinking about how oddly dressed he was-- even for this place. So gothic. At least he wasn't moaning about his heart and how much it ached or something. The stitches looked particularily painful, and she decided to ask him about it. Flipping to a blank page, she scrawled in clear writing: "What happened to your eye?" and held the notepad up in front of him.
