Kitchi crouched low as he made his way through the brush, being as silent as a wildcat. At his side was a stone knife and on his back rested a quiver full of arrows. One arrow was resting against the bow he carried, partially pulled back.
The young male's amber eyes were focused on a small doe drinking from a small creek. Its ears twitched occasionally at the sounds of the forest, but it remained completely unaware of the hunter stalking it.
In a good position, Kitchi lifted his bow, aiming the tip of his arrow for the doe neck in hopes of puncturing it enough for her to bleed out quickly, even if she ran.
Kitchi waited a moment longer then released the arrow. A mistake, he soon realized, as the moment he fired, the doe lifted her head as a stick cracked in a nearby bush. The arrow's tip grazed her neck, drawing blood and frightening her but injuring her no more than a small cut. She cried in shock and fled. Kitchi hastily knocked another arrow and fired, hitting her back leg, but she hopped away as he broke from his cover to give chase. He cursed his luck, having lost the kill.

(yes) Epona watched over all the people in the heavens, watching a doe bleeding on the neck. She couldn't bear to see that pain from such a small cut and an arrow in it's back leg. She descended to earth, in human form. She walked up the deer, stroking her neck. "Sh, I will help you." She tried to figure out how to heal the deer. She held one hand over the cut, and the other over the arrow. The arrow fell out, though healing the wounds took a while. She stood, waiting.

((Epona worries about the small cut to the doe's neck but totally doesn't notice the arrow embedded in the doe's back leg. xD;

Angpetu storked her wolf dog and pulled out her bow and arrow "Time to go hunting.." she sighed and walked out too her trust worthy horse Wakoyantanke {Will make later...}. She hoped onto the stallion's back and grabed the rope, rein's. She sat on Wakoyantanke bar back and carelesly of any tack. She grudged her knee's into his side lightly and felt him pull back and take off further onto the plane's.

Epona looked around for a worthy person. She saw a hunter, but it wasn't the right time for a hunter. She kept healing the doe. "Its your choice..." She was saying this aloud as well. "My human time is going out, so I hope you don't mind hearing a horse on top of me." It was going to be difficult to heal the deer now. She became the beautiful black mare she was, but focused on the arrow wound with her eyes first.
