"Allaaaaaan!" whined a rather tall, slim boy with white hair as he trotted behind another roughly his height with much darker hair, the paler boy's lips pursed in a pout. "I don't want to walk through the paaaaark! I have to go home and practice my clarineeeeeet!" He then crossed his arms with an even larger pout, his brows furrowed. The case of his clarinet banged against his arm so after a while he simply lowered it, resisting the urge to throw up all of his music and let it flutter down around him.
Allan, the dark-haired boy, chuckled softly as he tilted his head, then reached out to take the lighter-haired boy's music out of his hand to look over it, roughly humming the tunes before he shook his head with a laugh. "You guys always play the strangest things for your halftime shows, Nikkie," he said, grinning as he dodged a punch from the other, named Nicholas. This made allan laugh loud and strong, shaking his head. "dude, relax, you can practice in the park. It's not going to kill you to practice somewhere other than home or school," he told the clarinet player, who shook his head and snatched his music back. "It's easier to determine when to come in when you can hear the other instruments, but fine."
Nicholas moved to seat himself on a bench and began to assemble his clarinet, his reed, which he had to soak, sticking out from between his lips as he did so. Allan shook his head with a soft chuckle, seating himself beside him and grabbing his music to hold it up, giving the other male the goofiest grin he could muster.
"Dude. dude, no. No, stop that Allan. Allan, you look ridiculous. Allan, stop. I'm serious."
"Oh? You're serious? I couldn't tell with your reed-induced speech impediment, Nikkie."
This earned Allan a half-hearted glare that quickly turned into a laugh, Nicholas shaking his head as he pulled his reed out of his mouth, sliding it into to place and tightening its holder just enough to keep it in place to keep from cracking it, since that would warp the sound.
And then, he began to play. After warming up and tuning himself, of course.
((Once I figure out what to do with Genene I'll bring her in. o3o))
