Kyle had fallen asleep about an hour after Aslin last night. He woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. He had dreamed that their plan had gone terribly wrong, and Aslin had forced him to leave her alone. He had been running through the forest when a creeper Aslin had appeared and started attacking him. He shuddered and walked outside.
The stars were absolutely beautiful tonight. He tilted his head at the sky and felt the cool breeze on his neck. To bad he didn't bring a jacket. He started walking off into the forest, taking one of the trails through the woods. Wouldn't it be awesome if the creepers just gave up and he could go back home? Obviously, that was never going to happen.
He paused in the middle of the forest when he heard a rustling noise. A small squirrel jumped out of the bushes, and he let it rest in his hand.
Couldn't sleep either little guy?
The squirrel almost nodded and jumped out of his hand, scurrying into another patch of bushes. He sat down and started pulling the long blades of grass through his fingers. He would be vulnerable if he was attacked, but the moments of blissful silence were worth every ounce of risk.

Kyle turned around. he had heard a noise from behind him. He silently scurried up a tree. Being seen would be dangerous.
From the bushes, a creeper appeared. it was obviously a dumb one, and it didn't see him. Kyle waited till it was right under him, and he jumped down, bringing his ruby dagger across the things neck. The dagger just bounced off though, leaving both of them in shock.
Crap, I forgot to take the safety off.
He threw the protective covering off the sword and went in for another attack, but this time the creeper expected him, and deflected it. Maybe it wasn't as dumb as he had thought. He sliced again and again, but his well aimed attacks only hit air. There was no way this creeper had come alone. Soon there would be more here, and he would have to warn the others.
Kyle brought his sword down, and finally he landed a blow on the vile creature. He hit it once more, and it died. He had to go warn Aslin and Alice.
He ran out of the forest, wind ripping at his clothing. He skidded to a stop at there camp.
Guys, there are creepers here. We need to go now.

Way ahead of you. Lets pack.
He ran over to the tent and took it down in seconds, then folded it up and stuck it into one of his packs. He threw it onto Midnight and put all of the other bags with it. He mounted Midnight and held out his hand to help Aslin up.
Lets go before they find us.

Don't worry. There is no creeper out there who can go faster than my Midnight. Come on, get up here.

Kyle spurred Midnight, and the horse spurred into action, flying across the countryside at unbelievable speeds.
No matter how much danger we are in, this is still so much fun.
He kept urging the horse to go faster, and it followed his every command. It was hard to be scared when you were having this much fun.

They are actually kinda fast. They just can't compete to my Midnight.
The horse snorted at it's name. They had been traveling for a while, and the poor animal just couldn't keep running this fast. Midnight started to slow down a little.
I think our horse is about to fall asleep under us. I think we lost the creepers, so we will be okay. I just can't work Midnight for too much longer, he might collapse.

Hmm, did someone leave my great-great-great grandfathers sword back at camp? You are so lucky that you have me.
Kyle took the sword at his belt out, and swung it around. He looked at his reflection in it.
I think i am going to hold onto this until you need to use it. We wouldn't want it to get lost.

Well, don't forget my sword again, and I won't have to. I guess you can have it back.
He reached behind him and held out the sword. Midnight stop and whinnied. She was completely exhausted.
I guess we're stopping here. Come on.
He climbed down from the horse's back, being careful not to hurt him.

Follow me then.
He grabbed his bow off his back and knocked an arrow. He crept through the forest, trying as hard as he could to remain unseen. Finally, he reached the outskirts of a small town.
Okay, we are going to breach their defenses. Attack anything that moves, other than me. Got it?
