Lily kept flying and as she looked down she spotted her friend,Adelaide,coming up into the sky. She smiled and flew down to her friend,"Hey,Adelaide. How are you?",she asked.

I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Jacob sighed. Another long day was ahead of him. He was about to finish teaching this year's set of shapeshifter high school graduates and wasn't looking forward to it. It was around this time that they began to get spring fever and most of the students don't want to learn as much. Sadly, he still had to announce those staying for summer camp, a program for the shapeshifters who have not yet learned to be responsible with their actions. He usually got yelled, screeched, and whinnied at until he could stand it no longer by the people who had to go. The shifters he were going to miss, however, were very responsible and listened when they were supposed to. Those people would give him no trouble at all.
Jacob looked at the watch on his regular human form. He sat down on a rock. It was time for class. Jacob whistled the ancient shapeshifter tune and waited. It was going to be a long day.

Adelaide spread out her wings to catch a wind that would carry her up to her friend. "Hey Lily," she squawked, a mix of her human voice and the hunting cry of her eagle form. She nodded her head at her friend's question. "Doing great. You?" She would've waited patiently for her friend's answer, but Jacob's call pierced through the isle.
"Ooh, we'll talk later, okay Lily?" She asked, jerking her feathered head in the direction of Jacob. She gave and affectionate thump with her wing to the other bird before angling herself straight down to the Earth, picking up speed as she went. She loved watching everything fly to meet her. She felt panic that she would hit the ground and end up one giant feather splat, but she angled her wings flat just before she hit the tree-line and let her stomach brunch against the soft leaves - and at a good time too. She could feel her form melting away.
This happened often to her in some of her newest forms. Her terra-form and her Phoenix form were the only one's she had mastered. Her other forms didn't last all that long. Suddenly she was back in human form, her long pale curls flying upwards as she fell into a tree. She felt twigs and leaves slap at her face, and for a second the panic came back to her - until she grabbed a thin - but strong - branch and felt herself stop falling. "Oh man - thank the gods."
In less than a minute, she was back at the ground where all the other shifters were waiting. |

Lily nodded when she heard the whistle. She pressed her wings to her sides and let herself fall to the ground. She loved when she got the chance to fall from great heights and savored every moment. She soon made it to tree level and let her wings spread back out and she caught herself in the air before flying a bit closer to the ground and shifting into her human form.

((Foxtail, you can join, since you had already inquired about the RP. And for anyone who wants to know, the 'normal folk' will be introduced later on in the RP.))
Jasmine heard the whistle. She used to be a regular in class but she had not been since the age of 14, when her parents had been killed. The older shapeshifters knew this and few actually expected Jasmine to show up to any classes, but today Jasmine decided to go, for two reasons; one that she was bored half to death, two that she had only one form yet to master. The form of the dinosaur, Spinosaurus. For some reason, whenever Jasmine took that form, her temper would flare out of control and she would rampage, taking out her anger on pretty much anything in sight. Though she couldn't think why this was, she thought that it might have had something to do with the fact that she was IN Spinosaurus form at the moment of her parent's death. Something like that.
She swam up the river, poking her head out of the water every now and again, until she spotted a gathering of shifters. She breached the water, performing a somersault (still in the form of an Amazon River Dolphin) and splashing back down. She swam up to shore and shifted back to her human form as she left the water, as dry as if she had not even touched the water at all. She wasn't sure what the other's reaction to her presence would be; after all, she had not been to class for the past few years out of a mourning heart.
Jasmine said nothing but pawed at the ground with one foot. When she did speak, it was very very quietly.
"Sorry for not coming in so long." she muttered, to nobody in particular, emotion creeping into her voice for a fraction of a second then going back to her normal emotionless drone. "And...my Spinosaurus form still needs some work. I'll try my best."

Jacob looked up. " I see you are all here." He looked around and grunted in surprise. " Jasmine? To what do I owe the pleasure? Is it, perhaps, your Spinosaurus form? I think you're in luck then, because today I will finish calming, taming, shaping, or whatever you kids call it your forms. First, i have a list of those going to summer camp. Jasmine, if you don't master all your forms today, you must attend this camp as well. The other person on the list is Adelaide." Jacob looked around, than whistled. " The unicorn speaks a language no other beast can understand, except, of course, the Imperial Black Dragon. For this reason, Jasmine must go first in Spinosaurus form because there will always be a little dragon in her. The unicorn has calming effects, so this must be done first." Jacob changed into his unicorn form and said " Ayiinih hou!"

Jasmine gulped, nervously. Then she shook her head to clear her mind of negative thoughts (a very hard thing for Jasmine to do). She HAD to get this right. She just had to.
She shifted into her Spinosaurus form and braced herself for the worst. Normally within seconds of shapeshifting she would have lost all control of herself in absolute rage. She normally would have gone on a rampage and, at worst, hurt someone by now. But she didn't. Instead Jasmine remained calm in the form of the Spinosaurus. This was the first time in years this had happened and Jasmine was most pleased. This was also, as silly as it sounded, the first time in years she had noted the colour of this form; mstly black, with a few red or white markings. The sail on her back was blood red in colour, streaked with black.
Finding herself drastically taller than Jacob's unicorn form, she had to peer down at them. Her eyesight was better in this form, but not much better than her human form. Ther WAS a difference, though. Much to Jasmine's surprise, she also found herself able to understand the language of the unicorn. Maybe there WAS a link between the Spinosaurus and Imperial Black Dragon after all...
"I can't believe I haven't gone on a rampage yet." Jasmine said, though she was actually speaking in the language that she could only understand in dragon and dinosaur form. "What should I do now? Try dragon form?"

Adelaide turned her head to watch Jasmine, at the same time pulling her long hair up over her head so as to keep it from getting it in her way. She watched as the people around her gave semi-surprised looks at the girl, seemingly wondering why she was at class. Not my business, Adelaide concluded, and turned to face the other way. She was just anxious to start at that moment. She was close to perfecting her golden-eagle form and was eager to get to work mastering it.
[Sorry it's short. :/ Anyway, is it alight if she can't use her aquatic form yet? She's to afraid to use it. The no-oxygen part kind of frightens her.

Jacob shook his unicorn head. Translated to English, he said in unicorn form " I am helping you stay calm. Soon I will stop. I will stop when you are ready, not when you think you are. Now, think about your favorite thing. Think warm thoughts. This is very important. I am risking my life to teach. Do you understand?" Jacob desperately tried to jeep focus. this had been the fifth time he had shifted in the hour, and he was beginning to fell dizzy. He thought to himself, " Concentrate. Only a little longer until I can rest for an hour. Only a little longer until recess."
Jacob felt his unicorn's horn drooping. " No!" he shouted. The students looked scared, even though they could not understand the unicorn tongue. " I will not fall to my disorder! I WILL break the curse." Jacob felt something click, and he was out cold.
Deep, black, consuming darkness. Am I dead? Was I dead? Where am I? All of these questions whirred though Jacob's mind within an instant. He heard voices, gasps, pleads. Was he alive?

Jasmine gasped, if that was even possible in Spinosaurus form. She panicked momentarily. Then she felt the all-consuming rage of the Spinosaurus falling upon her mind again...
But upon laying eyes on Jacob's body, Jasmine managed to snap herself out of the anger. She walked over to Jacob. They had been trying to teach her. Trying to help her. And now they were in danger. She had to help. She felt like it was her fault.
"I'm not sure if you can hear me or not..." she whispered, in that strange unicorn-language. "...but I'm still in Spinosaurus form. You've managed to stop me going on a rampage somehow." She shook her head and took a step back, shifting into human form for only a brief second and then into the form of an Imperial Black Dragon. The Imperial Black Dragon is an exceedingly rare creature, driven to near extinction. They are of an immense size, jet black shiny scales lining their body. they have faint indigoand pink stripes and markings on their face and body that show up in the light. They have thorns on their tail and their head. But despite the fierce appearance, Imperial Black Dragons have a magical gift...one unique to that race.
"Listen, Jacob...I mean, sir." Jasmine began. "I'm going to use the blood of the Imperial Black Dragon to help you." She pricked her shoulder with a claw and caught a single drop of jet black blood from the wound, placing it upon Jacob's body. It quickly soaked in. Jasmine stepped back again. The blood of an Imperial Black Dragon is a cure-all, able to heal any sickness and almost every physical injury. The only thing it could not heal was emotional pain. Jasmine prayed that the magical healing qualities of the dragon blood would work. She shifted into human form and then slowly back into Spinosaurus form.

Soon, unexpectedly, Jacob felt warmth consume his body. Slowly, steadily, he opened his unicorn eyes and said in the language only Jasmine could understand, " Guess who's not going to summer camp." He shifted into human form and smiled. "No more Shaplifirum for me, huh?"

Jasmine felt proud. She shifted to human form and smiled as well.
"I suppose not." she said. "I might pop in every now and again, though. I might be able to help some people get a grasp of their aquatic forms. Those tend to be my 'best' forms." As if to make a point she leapt into the river, shifting into the form of an Amazon River Dolphin. She poked her head out of the water and whistled.
"Just let me know if I'm needed!" she squeaked. She performed a spinning jump out of the water and swam beneath the surface again. She used her echolocation to tell where she was going.
"Seeya!" she giggled.
