Crystal smiled at Calyx.  "Way to go, Calyx!" she exclaimed sarcastically, winking.  "Now he'll tear our inner organs out and viciously feed on our blood like the monster he is!" She turned to face Shadow who looked like he was about to kill them, and Crystal could have sworn he licked his mouth like he was about to eat something.

But then he turned to face Calyx.  "She's not a zombie.  She's a vampire," he corrected, and turned to look at Alora.  He stared at her for a moment, then looked at Crystal and Calyx again.  "Dinner time," he said, a sinister smile on his face.  "I'll get that pink-haired girl first."  Then he lunged at Crystal, snarling with his mouth wide open.

When he was close enough, Crystal grabbed his arm, and tried to push him away.  But he just continued to attempt to chomp his fangs over her neck, and she screamed, pushing him as hard as she could.  Then, he tried to chomp down on her arm, and she pulled her arm back.  She turned around, and he had almost chomped her neck but she started running in time.  She ran as fast as her legs could carry her, never stopping to look back.

She must have not been paying attention, because she tripped over a stick and fell onto the ground.  Shadow stopped, and stared down at her.  He smiled widely, and Crystal just stared at his fangs.  "Don't come closer!" she warned, and glared at him.  She was on the ground, so he fell to the ground and grabbed her, not listening.  She squirmed and kicked, but couldn't free herself from his grip.  So she did what many people would do, she screamed.

Calyx whimpered. "He will?" She said, her eyes wide in fear. "Hey, leave her alone!" she said, once Shadow tried to attack Crystal. She stood there, unable to do anything. Should she help Crystal, her friend? Or run like hell? Calyx hugged her elbows, processing all the answers in her head. Damnit! Well, she couldn't just let Crystal be killed, or even worse, turned!

"Leave her alone!" Calyx warned, her fear turning over to anger. "Or I'll kick you're sorry little a.ss!" What had she just said? she didn't get to figure it out, for her legs were already carrying her over to her friend in distress. She raised her stick and stabbed Shadow's hand, peircing the Vampire's skin and pinning it to the ground. I'm in deep *Bleep*, Calyx thought. but she didn't have time for this. She dragged Crystall away from the vampire. "What have I done?" she wondered outloud.

((Feyth, I'm ignoring your post because you power played.  Zozo power played too, but I wanted Crystal to be saved, so it wasn't a problem.))

Crystal was petrified of terror for a few seconds, but soon was back to normal.  She pulled out of Calyx's grip, and got up.  "Thanks," she said, managing a smile.  She turned around, only to see Shadow charging at Calyx this time.  "Here he comes again," she whispered.  "Run.  I'll deal with him, don't worry.  I might have been weak last time-- maybe even pathetic-- but I'll deal with him this time.  You saved me, so I'll do the same."

((Feyth, power playing doesn't only mean to control the other person's character, but also means to attack them without giving them a chance to respond to the attack (dodge it, fight back, etc.) or something like that. ;c 

Example-

She kicked him straight in the jaw. (power playing)

She aimed a kick straight in the jaw. (not power playing)

See the difference?  It wouldn't be fun if I started kicking and beating up your character without giving you a chance to respond.

RIKA HAD A SOLO THING. She was the only flute playing and she was nervous as hell. ;n;))

Calyx stared in astonishment at Nathainel. Was he sticking up for them? Before she could ask, her body was already skittering silently up a tree. She sat on a large branch near teh top and stared down at the Demon, Vampire and human.

Shadow stopped and stared at Nathaneil.  "Protecting those worthless humans?  You must be crazy.  Too bad I'm still going to eat them," he chuckled darkly, and lunged at Crystal.
