"I can't." Jake said, then he hesitated,"I'm afraid I'll hurt him." he was so scared ever since he noticed his powers that he was going to kill his father accidently when he was mad at him. Jake knew what he was capable of and that was why he stayed so calm when he was abused.

Aurora turned around. She didn't know what was going on but it seemed like Jake and Dravius had it under control.

Dravius pulled up Jake's shirt and winced at the minefield of scars and welts. He took out a rool of white gauze from his bag and handed one end to Jake, commanding, "Hold this."

Jake took the gauze without hesitation. He knew that if he didn't clean the wound then it would get infected like many of the other cuts he had.

Dravius wound the gauze quickly around Jake's abdonmen. Sighing, he secured the end just below his arms and sighed. "That should do it, you moron." Dravius pulled Jake's shirt back down.

"Well what was I supposed to do? Huh? Kill the only family I have left?" Jake shot back. He knew he didn't have much of a choice though, if he didn't kill him he would kill Jake just like his sister and mother.

Aurora yawned. She still was curious and wanted to know what was going on. She sighed,"I wonder what that was about his dad?" She said to herself. She turned around and started to walk back. She couldn't deside to go back and ask what was wrong again or to just keep on living her life. She walked back. What am I thinking? I should ignore it and pretend I didn't notice...If something really is wrong it might get me into trouble! She thought. She turned back around. Grrr, but what if something is wrong someone dies and you could have done something about it! Aurora turned around and started to head back towards Jake and Dravius.
