Robert stopped dead in his tracks. "K-king..?" he said. "B-but where are you going?! You're supposed to be queen of this dump!" Robert objected. He tried to focus at the task at hand, getting everyone out safely. Besides, Reja would soon be dead. Maybe by the time he was king he could change the rules around, but Tyren probably wouldnt approve of this. He was a thief, not some goody-two shoes king. Robert sighed and got Rena and Rika from the chackles. "We're getting out of here, just play along.." he whispered to Rika.

(XD He wouldn't care about Robert being king, he'd say 'Why would you possibly save the twit? Hasn't the light been enough trouble these days? He lowered his head so that only his glowing eyes could be seen from his face. "What a lovely place you have here... But I can't see it very well, can you?" He unwrapped his wings, the fire going out as he did so. "That's much better..." He grinned, his eight sharp canines shining from the moonlight. He looked between the two centaurs, squinting in a devilish way.

Shadow quickly stood as her cowardly brother slowed his standing. Once to his hooves he went behind his sister and said,his voice a weak whine,"Shadow..." "Don't be such a baby.",she replied through gritted teeth and went up to the new comer. "Who are you and what do you want?",she demanded as she readied her bow and aimed it between the glowing eyes she could see. "Who are you?",she demanded once more.

Tyren chuckled, his eyes flashing a dark red color. "My name is Tyren D'Tois, I come as your harbinger..." He circled around the two, stopping in front of that 'Shadow'. "Now, now. Put the weapon away. I don't bite on my good days." He placed a pale finger on the tip of the arrow, pushing it away carefully, not to draw any of his black blood. "Your companion is wise to fear me... But you, not so much, I see. Not as wise as you'd like, I see."

Shadow lowered her bow,but kept it ready and glanced at her brother. "He fears everything. Me on the other hand would easily try to kill you without a second thought.",she explained and watched her brother begin to inch towards her.

(Oh lord.) Tyren shook a finger, stepping backward. "If only it were so simple to do so. I've been alive for centuries. I've gotten an arrow through my head and taken swords in my heart. Each time I only disappeared, reborn from the ashes you'd throw from the tray. I could simply pluck that arrow from my arm, suffering such a large wound that a mortal would pass from the pain. I would not die, only grow weaker and weaker until finally whatever is left of the darkness is gone." He stepped over to the girl's companion, looking him over like a nature exhibit. "It's a pity you have no fight in you."

(XD Well, technically, Tyren IS a demon lord, but I wasn't thinking about that at the time.) Tyren smirked, tilting his head to the side. "Oh, how sweet... A poor little girl trying to defend her helpless little brother." He snarled and spoke in a mocking tone, waving his hand to the side. "Trust me, honey, I'd seen daisies put up more of a fight than this." He leaned forward and plucked the arrow from the bow, with the other hand snatching the rest from the quiver. He snapped each one in his hands, dropping the pieces onto the ground. "I'm sorry, was I not supposed to bend them that way?"
(I freaking love Tyren so much. I don't know about you guys, but I think he's just adorable in an evil way.)

Shadow reached her hand farther into her quiver and pulled out a knife. Gripping it in her hand she aimed the blade at Tyren and narrowed her eyes,her grip tightening until her knuckles turned white. Dark furrowed his brow and said,"I'm not helpless!" "Shut up!",she growled and then watched the demon.

Robert smiled very slightlybat Rika and looked back to Reja. "Why? What do you mean why?" he asked, now in full attention to Reja. Robert just wanted to get out of here, this place was horrible, which was why he barely came anymore. Robert was a bad person but he still couldnt picture drinking the blood of others and living in this place.

(XD Omaigawd I can't take it) Tyren was slightly amused by the fact that the girl was still drawing weapons. "Now, do you really think you need that? So sharp, and it reflects light everywhere. It's just disgusting, inhumane. Weapons are such useless things. Why use them when you can always manipulate the bones to your will? It's called being polite, little girl. You should learn." He squinted back with his slanted eyes, then stepped toward her little brother. He raised one hand, fingers like claws. "Would you like to demonstrate some manners for your dear sister?"

It would be such a shame if that light were to be... Wiped away." He stretched his hand out, the black and red wisp floating above his palm. "This is Miholi... She's perfectly harmless, but be careful not to touch her insides. Your finger will show no evidence of ever existing." He held Miholi up, the little flame dancing over his fingertips. (XD DANG) Tyren winced as the knife struck his hand. He glared at the girl with the knife, making a hissing noise. His hand slowly melted into dust, which he had to cover with one of his wings. "I've thought your people were a peaceful race. I've been kind to the both of you, for my standards. Maybe fate designed this to go a different way. Maybe I really am supposed to kill you two." He looked down at Miholi, who had fallen from his hand. He took a step backward, then smirked at the centaurs. "Miholi... Expand." He waited as Miholi slowly got larger, as she would soon be large enough to swallow half of an elephant. |
