Deidara's eyes narrowed as the brunette made his move. He wouldn't be able to fight the two of them very easily, especially on foot. He was a distance-ranged fighter, not one for close combat. Though he wouldn't stand to prove totally defenseless on the ground either. Leaping at the voice command to attack him, he knew he would have to do his best to dodge any charges until his product of clay that was currently being worked on was finished. He needed to get into the air for an advantage. To meet his attacker, he withdrew a few of his pre-made explosives, and tossed them Neji's way, at least for a distraction.

Gah, forgive me. Totally terrible at fight scenes.

((Rock Lee no Intro~ :D Following Neji, I shall be <b>Common Naruto Rock Lee</b>, but I shall utilize all of Lee's abilities, if I may. They are the same, so do not worry. I shall also use techniques from the movies.))

BIC|| The Konoha shinobi darted through the trees, his big black eyes watching for any signs of his team. Their makeshift cell was an odd one: himself, Neji, and Shikamaru Nara. Why Shikamaru had called upon himself and Neji, he was unsure, but that did not matter to him...after all, it was just one more chance to prove once and for all that genius was not better than hard work!

A flash of white behind him caught his attention, and he halted in his youthful leaping to get a better look at it. It was Neji, who had just dropped from the trees. What a test! What could the Hyuuga be up to?! A meeting with someone, perhaps? Hurr...he would have to do his best to keep up with his rival's game and have a dynamic entrance!

"Konoha Senpuu!!" Rock Lee flew out of the foliage and slammed his foot into Deidara's chest, sending the Akatsuki member flying back towards Neji. Oops...that attack was supposed to be nothing more than an epic and very youthful entrance, but he had struck an Akatsuki member and unwittingly helped his rival! What irony! Lee dropped to the ground and looked up at the lazy Shikamaru with (youthful) uncertainty.

"What is this, Shikamaru-san?" he asked. "An Akatsuki member? Gai-sensei says they travel in pairs! Where is this one's partner?!"

I'll wait 'til Shikamaru replies. But would you guys mind if I perhaps made a little twist to the storyline? Since I don't want my poor Deidara to die, do you guys mind if he becomes an ally later on?

Shikamaru's eyes widened as the explosives aimed at Neji hit the ground; the Nara braced himself for an explosion - this was why the Akatsuki were so dangerous...!

Neji darted between Shikamaru and Lee and the bombs. "Kuso - Kaiten!" The Hyuuga turned on his heel and released a large burst of chakra, his slender white form blurring into the fast-spinning hemisphere of crackling chakra as he deflected the bombs. The bombs hurtled away from the triad and into the air, where they exploded in a burst of light and sound.

"I have no idea. This one came alone." Shikamaru called to Lee, making a flurry of hand-signs and channeling his chakra haphazardly. He had to initiate the last part of his plan now that there was an immediate light source and the confusion of explosions around him and his enemy.

((Shikamaru: Oh, don't worry - we don't plan to kill him. Besides, I don't kill other characters...

Neji: -,-; You're a strange one.))

Deidara coughed in reaction to Lee's kick. He cursed under his breath. Now there were three of them, and he would have to escape the shadow that was headed for him. But, he did not let this slip through his laid back demeanor. Besides, his clay product was finished. He smirked, "You've had your fun."

With that, a mouth on one of his palms produced a small carved clay bird; however, when he casted it in air, it landed with an expanse of its shape to form into a large tool of transportation. Acting quickly, the blonde leapt on the back of the bird, and it immediately took air before the shadow could get to it.

"Now it's my turn." He grinned, knowing that he now had a chance of defeating them. Withdrawing a few of his animated bombs, he let them fly toward the ground at his opponents. "Katsu!" He called, signaling his creations to explode.

Ooc; Gah, this somehow double-posted. My computer is idiotic.

Shinsa stopped suddenly a branch away from the ground. The vibrations had quickened in her mind she could see the people she pinpointed fighting. Excepted about three others were there as well. One hiding and two other males helping the one who's shadow was zooming across the forest floor.

I bet you want to figure out who is fighing who, Shinsa-san, Hachibu purred again, saying her name in two syllables, along with the '-san' part which made it three.

Shinsa growled and shook her head. "Definatly not, Hachibi," she said softly as her tone was muscial and light. Rubbing the base of her neck with her long fingernails, she let the curiousity get the better of her. "Fine. You win, Bijuu." Hachibi purred with content as Shinsa landed on the ground with her knees bent before concealing the flow of her chakra. Then, she took off, following the direction of the vibrations.

"Kaiten!" Neji shifted into the heavenly spin a second time, defending his comrades from the explosions rocking the forest around them. The blur of rotating chakra was sapping his strength, but he had vast reservoirs of energy he would force himself to tap into if he got close enough to use his Juuken...he only needed Shikamaru to get the Akatsuki to the ground once more, and held still.

Shikamaru hated how uncool his jutsu looked - it wasn't flashy enough when it was initiated, or noticeable enough when successful. However, his trained Chuunin's eye caught a window of opportunity to show off, and he exploited it. "Doesn't he realize that his bird still casts a shadow? Kage Mane no Jutsu, successful." Shikamaru purred softly, dropping his hands and shifting to his feet slowly. Anything with a shadow was able to be possessed, and Deidara's bird was no different; even better, since it was made with the Akatsuki's chakra, it bound both of them to his movements.

"Come down here." the Chuunin ordered, his shadow tugging on the shadow of the bird.

((Urgh, now comes the sticky part where I have to godmod/powerplay a bit. But you, being Naruto fans, understand that Shikamaru has to godmod/powerplay when using Shadow Possession. And it doesn't last long...so never fear. :3))

Can we just skip? I'm horrible at fighting scenes, and I give you permission to capture Dei. Infact, I'll save you trouble. This isn't meant to power play Shikamaru, I'm just getting Deidara to the point of defeat.

Bic;
Deidara couldn't believe it. Though as unbelievable as it was, it was reality. His light blue eyes stared up into the darker orbs that glared down upon him. There he was, pinned to the ground on his back with Shikamaru hovering over him. He knew he should've requested the company of Sasori. Perhaps that could've made the battle more interesting. But, he couldn't blame them. Not only was he vulnerable to close combat, but he hadn't even tried his best. Apparently, he had been the one to underestimate them.

He continued to stare up at the Chuunin before finally, a smirk touched his lips, and he spoke. "Go on then, un." He huffed at his defeat. "Take me. I won't bite anymore. Promise." He chuckled. Ah, same old Deidara. Even in defeat, he found amusement to everything.

As the black haired ninja slowed to a stop, she tilted her head to one side. Was the fight over? The major vibrations had stopped for the moment atleast. But she was still curious on what happened so she walked on, keeping her pace slow and unhurried.

You want to find out so bad that it might kill you, Shinsa-san. That would be a shame for you are my favourit host, the she-demon dragon told her softly as she seemed to nestle within Shinsa's chakra flows.

"I'm your only host as far as I know of," Shinsa replied in the same soft tone. Hachibi chuckled.

Gaara felt a huge vibration and it stopped as suddenly as it came to him. "Now what could that possibly be.." He stood up and changed into his regualar outift. Browish red pants and kind of loose fitting shirt, a gourd, a leather strap, and a white cloth like material holding the gourd to his back. He stepped out and quickly walked onto the roof. With a swish of his arm, sand shot from the gourd and Gaara leaped onto it. He looked around and quickly made his way to the wall that served as a barrier of the Sand Village. He stood on the rocks and looked out to the horizon. He saw nothing but felt at least 5 different chakras. "Who in the world would be out right now."

Sasuke hopped back in his room and removed his pajamas. He put on his outfit and sighed. The white shirt that opened up almost all the way from the front and the black pants. He put on his shoes and finally put on the purple rope that tied his sword to him. He placed his sword in the rope and hopped out the window. He felt a fight that just ended and a familiar chakra. "Hyuuga... Nara... Lee..." He jumped off the roof and quickly walked toward the edge of the village. He met the trees and ran down the path.

All right! The battle had been a success, even if Lee had only contributed a little. The jumpsuit-clad shinobi gave an enthusiastic yawp and jumped onto Neji's shoulders.

"Victory~!" he cried, waving his arms about. "We caught an Akatsuki! How youthful and amazing!" he paused looking over at Shikamaru as his thought processes began to function properly. "...but what do we do with him now?"

Sara's eyes widened as she watched what was going on with Deidara, being beaten up by 3 teenage youths. Two more fire shinobi had joined the small area. One with the special eye- the Byakugan and the other with the giant eye brows that made the childish Atatsuki member want to tug it hard. Sara felt so many more different paths of chakra from different people. Many not so far away. Her attention fell mostly on the pony tailed youth- named Shikamaru as she heard from the bushy eyed boy. She watched in silence as Deidara admitted defeat so soon. She couldn't take it anymore. Sara's feet blasted from her hiding spot appearing a few feet from the group. Her arms folded with her veins boiling. Both her sharingan eyes sealed away for now.

"Dei-kun! I came to help you! Since you fail so badly at completing any missions Pein-san gives you, I thought I should just follow you since I have nothing to do," She dropped on the floor giving the ninjas a cheeky smile, "Ahh no need to fight, I hate doing so and there are too many villages around too," She pouted as her brown eyes glanced at everyone. She still hid her chakra.

Neji wanted to kill himself when Lee jumped onto his shoulders. However, he snapped back into ninja mode when Sara appeared from the trees. He made a few hand-signs, channeling his chakra into his optic nerves - "Byakugan." he muttered; the veins around his eyes swelled as he scanned over the new Akatsuki. Instantly, he was aware of her power, and moved to alert Shikamaru with his body between those of the Nara's and Lee's.

"Show us what you really are." he snarled, dropping into a battle crouch. "My eyes can see it anyway. You're a blithering Uchiha, aren't you?"

"Woah so thats what Byakugan does! I never found out," The Atatsuki member giggled, her hand covering her mouth, "Alright alright but I will have to refuse on activating both of them, I prefer not to use my right eye's one," He closed her left eye and reopened it with the sharingan open with 3 dots spread around the pupil. 

"Happy naw?" She pouted, "Don't snarl at me or call me a blithering Uchiha! I'm more refine than even Ita-kun. I'm nicer too!" She gave the lilac eyed boy a wide grin.

"What are all your names?" She asked curiously, "You guys must be strong to make Dei-kun give up,"  A wide smile spread across her face indicating at the blonde haired.

"Hey! Watch your tongue, brat! I have everything under control, so why don't you just scram back to the base!" Deidara snarled, becoming annoyed and slightly offended by the girl's comments. "And I do not fail every mission Pein *censored*igns me!" He added with a huff. Women... They could really get on his nerves. Thank the lord that the Akatsuki was made up of mostly men.

 ((Blegh. Writer's block.))

"Our names are none of your business." Shikamaru growled, twisting his shadow more tightly around Deidara. "We don't fraternize with our enemy."

Neji began to shift, his feet anxious to move. He narrowed his eyes, his Byakugan staring down the Sharingan without fear in their pearly depths. For an instant, his slight pupils flickered in Sasuke's direction - he was aware of the second Uchiha's presence, and it only made his blood boil hotter. He smiled confidently: "Never forget that the Uchiha clan came from the Hyuuga clan, Akatsuki scum. I'll teach you some respect."

Shikamaru rolled his eyes - now it was a blood feud, a battle of pride, and less of a battle for the village. He took a step back from Neji, his onyx irises darting between the Hyuuga, Lee, the newcomer, and the Akatsuki they had subdued. "I'll leave this to you, Neji. We'll just-...take the blonde and go." In a flurry of hand-signs, a small cage appeared and wound itself around Deidara. He motioned for Lee to pick up the cage and follow him.

((Hurr. Our Itachi seems to have vanished. Permission to roleplay Itachi and Kisame?))

BIC|| Lee did as Shikamaru instructed, picking up the cage and slinging it onto his back in a very youthful manner. He followed the lazy shinobi with ease, keeping a youthful spring in his step and a happy twinkle in his black eyes. Gai-sensei would be so proud of him for aiding in the capture of an Akatsuki member! He could only imagine the praise Gai would give him, and it made his smile beam even more youthfully.

He paused in his youthful thoughts and allowed his mind to shift back to Neji and the Uchiha Akatsuki. That girl reminded him of someone...someone whose little brother he had fought Kimimaro for not too long ago. He frowned as an intelligent thought (for him, at least) slipped into the front of his mind about that Uchiha; if the girl Uchiha was here...who was to say that Itachi Uchiha was not somewhere here as well?

"Shikamaru-san!" he called whistfully. "What if Neji-kun has trouble with that Uchiha? And what if more Akatsuki members come?"
