Ben groaned as he regained consciousness, keeping his eyes closed. Why did he feel so sore? Feeling something warm against his back, he snorted and sat up. Mark must have crawled into his bed again. Honestly! They were fifteen, way too old to be sleeping in the same cramped bed. He rubbed his eyes with his forearm and looked at Mark... only it wasn't Mark.
He yelped and scrambled away from the Shiba that had been laying so close to him.
His cry caused the Shiba to bl
ink his eyes open and sit up, visibly cringing. "Ugh... what happened." He muttered, causing Ben's eyes to widen. Somehow, and it really did sound crazy, but Ben swore that was his twin's voice.
"...Mark?" Ben asked experimentally.
The Shiba lifted his head up. "What is it, Be-- Oh, God! You're a dog!" Mark practically howled, scrambling back from his twin in the same way he had.
Ben blinked and looked down at his clearly Akita body. "Holy-- I am a dog!" he barked. He looked up and stared at his twin, lifting up a paw. Mark lifted up a paw as well and they pressed them together in the air, pushing lightly on each other.
"Too weird." They said in unison before dropping their paws and looking around the junkyard.
"I suppose we wont be needing that car part for our truck now." Mark joked.
