Charley let out a theatrical sigh, thinking a moment before looking up, eyes twinkling. She hadn't spoken in such a long time, her voice sounded strange in her throat, rusty, disused, like the cars abandoned all over the place. "That's where you wrong," she said silkily, stepping closer, "you do have food. The. Meat. On. Your. Bones." Her singsong voice was sweet and clear, but the last word held a dark undertone that was emphasized by her change of ex
pression. Taking several steps forward, Charley was now inches away from the two of them. She pointed the barrel of the gun up the grey-haired man's chin, and with one motion... shot the car behind them.
Charley started to laugh, throwing her head up to the sky and holstering her gun. Her laughing ceased as she lowered her head, wiping moisture from her eyes. "Oh, that was good. Shoulda seen the looks on your faces. Don't worry, I'm not going to eat you, though they might." Projecting her voice loudly in the direction of the car, she shouted, "you two come play, or I might have to shoot you." As she said this, two people came running toward the road. Rolling her eyes, Charley unholstered her gun again. "Isn't life just a party, eh?" she said sarcastically, mouth tilted into a smirk. Inside, she was antsy; she hadn't dealt with people in a very long time, since her travelling companion had, ah, died unfortunately. She was used to shooting, no questions asked. But these people seemed special. And they smelled funny. And I wasted a bullet on that stupid joke. This better be worth it.

Gender: Male Age: 13 Species: Tibetan Mastiff Personality: He may act tough and cool, but he is actually very skittish and unsure. All he knows is that he doesn't trust anyone. Brief Deion: He has been alone for as long as he can remember. He usually stays in
his mastiff form since people usual avoid him due to his size. He tries to avoid all conflict if possible, though he will fight back if he feels that there is no retreat possible. He's also easily scared and considered a cry baby. Though deep down he has a much darker personality that can be a bit blood thirsty and enjoys a good fight, and seeing others in pain. A chill went through the two figures as the harsh wind rustled the fallen leaves below them, causing a few to lift up off the ground before slowly drifting back down. Tension was thick in the air as the female began to speak once again, taking a few steps forward towards Markus. The brown headed figure was calm, with a face and body like stone as the gun was pointed at him. His ex
pression unwavering as the female spoke. A large hand was held up towards his brother, as if signalling to him not to act.
Johann's ex
pression grew dark as he snarled, taking a step forward the moment the gun was pointed at his brother. Seeing the warning glare he got from Markus, the fair headed male held his position, muscles tensing and hair bristling as he watched the female with hungry blue eyes.
The shot was fired and Markus clenched his jaw muscles as the gun went off. It was a bit of a relief to see that the stranger hadn't shot him but his ex
pression was the same as before. Johann's teeth grit together as the female pulled the trigger to the gun and in an instant his body shifted. Pale fur laced with several scars could be seen as the large wolf snarled with a fiery gaze towards the female. It all happened so fast. Johann rushed towards her, leaping to tackle her to the forest floor. His large paws on her arms as he snapped his jaws near her face.
The elder brother's eyes widened slightly as Johann tackled the female in his natural form. "You idiot I said I didn't want any trouble!" Markus spoke with a low, agitated voice as he grabbed his brother by the scruff, throwing him off of the stranger that wielded the gun. Voices could be heard behind him as others seemed to be heading towards the road where they had previously been. Turning to look at them with his one good eye, Markus quickly moved to grab the bag that the younger figure had put down, tossing it to him before quickly moving around the female.
Shifting back into his human form, Johann snatched the bag and paused to shoot a glare back at the female before following his brother deeper into the woods. They ran quickly through the trees, trying their best to get away from the others. The last thing they wanted was a big commotion. All those people in one place would surely attract some unwanted attention. Johann and Markus continued to run until they were a good long distance away from everyone, pausing to catch their breath a bit. "Why'd you do that?!" Johann snapped, still panting from the escape. "We'd be eating right now if it wasn't for you!!" The younger brother spoke angrily, trying his best to keep his voice down as he growled lowly. Markus ignored his brother's ranting and glanced behind them. "Let's keep moving." His usual calm voice low as he adjusted the bag on his shoulder before continuing to walk through the bare woods in a quick pace.

Deep in the woods a large Tibetan mastiff was in the middle of a meal that it had made of a wild boar. It was clear that this large dog was male and very hungry. His ears constantly moved as it listened for any danger. Humans usually left him alone, thinking he was just a normal dog, plus his size, fur making him appear more intimidating, usually helped keep people away. He was 13 in human standards and had been on his own for as long as he could remember. Abandoned at birth and raised by animals. This was another reason why he stayed in his dog form 99% of the time. He didn't trust anything that walked on two legs. In fact he didn't trust most animals either. A fog began to form as rain began to fall in a light mist.

Nobody looked at the poor fox. Un noticed she slept away, walking along the road she saw some girls shift. The fox trotted towards them and yapped for their attention, when they were looking she shifted. "Hello! I guess we are all the same." Kylie spoke with the still soft and gentle voice she was born with. Her curls bounced into place and her eyes lightened up a bit. She heard a gun shot and flinched. "Sorry." she mumbled.

"Wh-what?" she stammered. "I... don't know what you're... talking about?" "Oh, please," the black haired girl said. "She's been there the whole time." "Huh?" "She's been watching us, for, like, the past three minutes or so." "Um." Scarlett's fear instincts kicked in, and she automatically transformed into a rabbit and dashed under the car, her heart drumming against her ribs. "Well, then," Scarlett heard the black haired girl ask. "Who are you?" |

"Kylie Moore, pleasure to meet you!" Kylie spoke in her soft voice. Extending her hand for it to be shake, she breathed. She thought about the bunny under the car and went down on her knees and looked under the car. The little fluff ball was looking at her with fear. "It's okay! I won't hurt you." Kylie said. Her voice softening and her eyes softening instead of it's fear filled eyes. Her eyes were soft and kind, extending her hand in somewhat hopeful and kind manner. "Come on." she spoke again and smiled.

Scarlett's eyes darted from side to side nervously as the strange girl's hand reached towards her. Without thinking, she reached forwards and bit the girl's hand, and dashed back further under the cover of the car. Her nose twitched rapidly, and her left hind leg drummed against the asphalt. She involuntarily shapeshifted again, banging her head against the bottom of the car. She gave out a little yelp of pain.
